Okay. OKAY. This deserves not just 1 star. I am actually quite upset someone reviewed it badly and saying how it's too much actions, not much words, and how both leads lack communication and verbally not saying I love you to each other. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions though. And here's mine:
Sometimes, actions show a lot more than just words. I would agree that it may seem shallow that they don't eventually verbally profess their loves for each other, but honestly, the relationship growth between the 2 leads already show that much, without even having it to be put into words. The story telling here doesn't just spoon feed us readers with words that they love each other, but rather, by telling us their actions mutually show love for each other. There are different language of love, so the fact that there is not any confirmed "I love you"s, that does not mean they don't love each other enough for their ending relationship to be justified. (Sorry for rambling)
ANYHOWWWW, I wouldn't say I'm an avid novel reader but many times, novels that are still ongoing, even if I follow them, I don't think I anticipate the updates as much as I do for this one (and very few others). I was sooo sooo glad when Momo decided to pick this one up to translate. Not all heroes wear capes indeed. I would also like to thank CrappyAss and Hasr11 for starting to translate this story at the beginning, because otherwise, this story wouldn't be out there for me to read in the first place.
And I need to reiterate, this is full of fluff, endearing moments, NON PROBLEMATIC people (questionable how the ML parents kinda treat or nurture ML but they remind me of my parents in general. Those Asian blood man hahah and they treat FL with respect like hellooo when was the last time I read romance josei/shoujo novel with in laws being decent human beings?). The FL, Priscilla, is seriously GOALS, and she reminds me so much of Tohru from Fruits Basket. And I like that this story is short and sweet. Authors don't drag over s*upid dramas/conflicts. Definitely something I can binge-read now over and over when I'm bored. Rarely that I go out my way to review for the good stuff I read unless it's really really good and warrant the effort from me. And this novel is one of them.
Thank you translators. I wish I can read more of the Lucott Kingdom series too following this one! I will be looking forward to it for sureeee. LOVE Y'ALL, PEACE!
