The story goes with protagonist (April) who is the daughter of Count has early engagement with prince Lochlan since she was 10 years old. They would meet each other once a week on Wednesday at 3 PM. Although tragedies happened to April when both of her parents died week apart at the age of 12, Her fiance still came to their meeting place at exact time and day.
He is prescribed to be kind person and gentle to her. He also has twin brother who had the same face and demeanor. It has explained by his brother, Prince Dominic that they had copy each other attitude and manners to be replacement. Very subtle hint there.
April has been struggle with her new family whose uncle who abruptly taken a pregnant girl to be his wife and took the temporary title of Count which he abused the power.
When she heard the death of her fiance, she was devastated. She felt she had left alone with everyone she loved leaving her.

It's just my hunch but since she met again her fiance brother, Prince Dominic. What she described Dominic as scary person don't seem to add up when she can talk comfortable with him when there no Lochlan around.

When I read back the summary after reading the current chapter. There was a part when Dominic came to see her before going to war, he want to the blue ribbon she was wearing. It confirm my assumption maybe when they become adult they have change their identities to confuse people. But April seem to know in her heart whose who.

this is so sad... But its so satisfying though.. I intentionally searched for novels with heartbreak so I can cry. My eyes are clear now <3. I love how this time its a change of perspective where it is written from the lover's point of view since most oh these hidden identity novels were written from the perspective of the MC who changed identity.
