Yan Qi has a secret. During the day, she is the pampered Miss Yan, a dazzling star. But during her sleep, she will unexpectedly travel back to seven years ago and become her secret crush Liang Xiao´s little step-sister. The current all-powerful president Liang, a gloomy and taciturn young man who grew up deep in the mountains, seven years ago he was just rescued back by his family from kidnappers, his whole body full of wounds. Seeing her shy secret crush blushing even when he speaks with her, Yan Qiwei takes a vow: don´t worry, I’ll protect you. So she became his tutor, helped him with his treatment, helped him dealing with rude relatives, and walked him from a sprout to a titan. But she couldn’t imagine that the cute golden pup she raised would shed his fur and become an even more vicious than her big bad wolf Liang Xiao has two secrets. One is his many years secret crush, who he couldn’t confess to before her death. Two, he slightly suspects that the girl he met not long ago is the bright moon he’s been yearning for from the bottom of his heart. So he has been carefully treasuring her.
This was seriously good! I won't give any spoilers since it's only 45 ch and a quick read, but you definitely won't be disappointed!

THIS IS SO BEAUTIFUL I CAN'T HELP BUT CRY T____T
such a sweet but tragic, short story. But don't worry, it's a happy end haha. The description is actually almost the whole plot. The FL fell in love with the adult ML when he's still in love with his white-moonlight who's actually the transmigrated FL.
the MTL is easy to understand, and there's lot of beautiful words written by the author but don't really translated well. I hope the tl group version could deliver the best meaning of it<3

This is a short and sweet novel. I MTL-ed most of this novel, and for the most part, it is very understandable.
The novel alternates between the past and the present, with MC traveling back in time to possess the body of ML's step-sister. The first time ML met her, she had already taken over the body of this sister (who died of health issues). So ML only knew MC as his sister, and not the original.
Their relationship was sweet. MC was very endearing in her emotions and actions, wanting the best for ML. She did a lot of help him overcome the scars of his trauma, and help him move forward and adapt back to society. Her open, lovely, sweet and strong personality made her loved by her family and her friends.
MC realises that she is in a novel, as a cannon fodder. ML is the villain. Although that fact that they are in a novel doesn't really impact on the plot much. The og heroine is also aware that they are in a novel. She actually approaches MC to talk about this, when she realises that MC is the only one who is not following the plot of the novel. They both work hard to change the plot and defy their predestined fate. ML realises, or starts to suspect, that MC is his first love after their second meeting. Which I love. She is blocked from saying anything about her identity, and so she is resigned to her fate that he will never recognise her. But that does not stop her from chasing after her love. ML still notices though. The foods that she hates and her little idiosyncrasies that belong only to her. He notices it and by their fourth meeting he is sure, and from then on he makes his moves on her.
My only issue is that we don't spend too much time in the past. But neither do we spend too much time in the present. She kind of spends an equal amount of time in both and this neither are really fully developed and explored.
Spoiler about her death in the past and ML's trauma:
Spoiler
ML's foster parents, who abused ML while he was with them, kidnapped MC and ML for randsom, but they intended to kill both of them anyway. MC manages to knock out the foster dad while he is beating ML. She tries to escape with him but they run into the foster mum, who stabs MC in the stomach with a knife. The MTL is not too clear on what happens after, but I think they fall into a lake and die or something like that. ML suffers from PTSD and guilt after that, so he needs higher care in some sort of institution as he gets nightmares and becomes crazy because of what happened.

Its ok. The premise is really good but the execution could have been much better. I found myself getting board and skipping a lot of her time in the past when it could have been some of the most interesting content. I also found her conversations with her girlfriends especially boring and it just felt like a waste of time. I did finish reading it though so at the very least my attention was held till the end. Perhaps mtl also affected things a bit too since its readable but not great. But I stand by my original assessment something is just missing.

Slightly bitter, mostly sweet. Very enjoyable read despite having to MTL most of it. Supporting characters were memorable and interactions were always entertaining. Definitely a rare new favourite of mine.

Read it in one day. Very nice story would recommend.
I am glad I could complete reading it on mtl and translation was quite good... sadly you can't do this with Korean novels, unless I don't know where to find them.

I really enjoy this novel, it was really interesting to read. I liked how the MC could turn back time and the ML eventually found out who she was.

Beautiful story ❤️❤️❤️. I like how it doesn't have any exaggerated fights/ encounters between the protagonists and other extra characters.
