Chloe (later Victoria), an agent of the Haggle Kingdom, decides that she no longer has a reason to continue working there after a certain incident. She disappears from the organization by staging an accident that could be interpreted as either an accident or suicide. She then enters the Ashbury Kingdom, changes her name to Victoria, and decides to start a new life as a normal person. However, on her first day in the new country, she reluctantly takes in an abandoned child. During this process, she meets the captain of the Second Knights and feels that he has taken a liking to her, but as a former agent who has fled from the organization, she is cautious about getting too involved with a knight who has sworn loyalty to the state. Victoria tries to use the knowledge, skills, and talents she developed as an agent to protect herself and the girl while leading a mundane civilian life. However, she begins to realize that there are many things missing in her life beyond just loneliness, which she had not been aware of during her time as an agent. This is the story of a 27-year-old woman trying to repair her life, which is full of gaps.
