Our class was rowdy from the beginning to the very end because of the morning’s shocking turn of events, but besides that everything went by smoothly until school finished.
Packing up my things and putting away my chair like the rest of my classmates I left the classroom after the final prayers.
I made up my mind to go see Harumachi-Sensei.
I’m curious to see how much Sensei’s thoughts have changed, concerning my exploring the labyrinth. Also, I wanted to see how she would react again to finding us alone and close to each other for a personal chat.
At the very least, I want to make sure she promises to keep everything a secret.
As for the future, I’ll think about it when that time comes.
………*Sigh*. Things can never be easy.
Making up my mind I leave class. And since school has ended, Sensei should now be in the Faculty Staff room. Moving quickly down the hallway, I made my way down to the first floor. The school building wasn’t so large, so it didn’t take long before I reached the Staff Room.
Standing in front of the Teacher’s area.
I took a deep breath just before placing my hand on the knob of the door.
Slightly nervous, I open the door with a slight rattle.
“Pardon the intrusion is Harumachi-Sensei here?”
The moment I spoke aloud and asked for Harumachi-Sensei, her body inadvertently shook in surprise revealing her presence and location in the room. She also succeeded in surprising other teachers in the room in a weird manner as well.
Couldn’t Sensei be less obvious....?
She’s awkwardly facing in another direction……
Is she trying to act like she didn’t notice me?
But even though she’s facing away from me, I can see she’s quite embarrassed by her red ears. Walking towards Sensei’s desk, I call out to her once more.
“…….Sensei, there’s something, I want to talk to you about.”
“Huh, but this won’t take long.”
Sensei brushes me off, trying not to talk to me. Rather than leave right away, I decided to stick around, but Sensei’s demeanor didn’t change, and neither did she turn to face me.
But then Sensei’s hand moved with a quickness.
Suddenly, Sensei placed a piece of paper in front of me.
Isn’t this just a standard A4-sized paper?
It was just a blank sheet of paper in front of me…… What is she trying to get at?
Confused by her actions, Sensei finally spoke but her voice was soft just a little more than a whisper.
“W-write what you want to say?”
…… Ahaha, she’s too embarrassed to talk.
I was tempted to retort back, but instead nodded and agreed to follow along. It was better than not being able to talk at all.
It also appears likely that Sensei can’t converse with me normally after that dream in which I creampied her.
So, this method of communication was my only choice for now before Sensei could come to terms with the dream.
Personally, I wanted to confirm that she would keep the labyrinth a secret by looking into her eyes.
I would have otherwise pleaded with her to reconsider her decision. I really enjoy that place and was not going to leave any stone unturned to protect it.
Borrowing a pen from her desk I decided to write out a suitable question about exploring the labyrinth. Sliding it to Sensei who still didn’t face my way, I could see her looking down at the contents.
Next, I knew, Sensei takes her pen and begins writing below the sentence I wrote. Answering firmly with every pen stroke, as it was done without pause. She might have had a clear answer in her mind from the very start.
Suddenly the piece of paper was thrust back in front of me.
And the answer she wrote was―
