"Guardian Troopers" is an arcade robot action game. Players fight by boarding a large cabinet that is built like a cockpit. The world setting is cliché, the mecha design is somewhat old-fashioned, and the operation is overly complex with two joysticks full of buttons and foot pedals. To make matters worse, the missions are devilishly difficult, presenting a parade of negative elements. Despite the generally low ratings on review sites, I became hooked on this game.
