At midnight, under a sky of dark clouds obscuring the moon, all shops and apartment buildings along the street are closed and dark, except for the dim streetlights that cut the narrow road into strangely lit sections. A buzzing sound, then the sign "Sacred Object Clinic" lights up in the darkness. The sign flickers, leaving only the character "勿" (do not), like a flashing red alarm. The character "忄" (heart) appears with difficulty, at the front of the sign. In the darkness, the words "Monster" flicker like flames... then suddenly go dark. The glass door below the sign sways gently, as if someone invisible has entered the clinic.
