Orphan Yang Chengzhi graduates from college and heads south with his classmates to make a living. After a mishap, he discovers that the jade pendant he's carried since childhood, concealing his hidden past, contains a magical space for planting. Leaving the bustling city behind, he returns to his impoverished mountain village. Using the magical jade pendant, he builds a family business, searches for his past, promotes traditional Chinese medicine, and gradually transforms the impoverished village into a beautiful "Sai Wai Jiang Nan" (江南, a region known for its beauty). He aims to use the opportunities brought by the space to confront the difficult life dealt to him.
