~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~\n
Kouko cried when she first heard from her mother that her father was a man.\n
Yuki Onna are thought to be only women. \n
And a man is something impure, an abomination that pollutes the mountains. They’re filthy. And only use is getting energy from.\n
That is why it was such a shock to hear how she was born.\n
She tucked herself away and cried for three days.\n
She believed she was corrupted.\n
However, soon she learned of other stories. Stories about other Yukinkos being born from love with a man, it was not just her mother, but also other Yuki Onnas.\n
Kouko was surprised, but it eventually turned to curiosity.\n
She wanted to meet her father.\n
Every day she would ask.\n
Wanting to meet this mysterious figure.\n
She continued to ask, embarrassing her mother Reiko.\n
Her mother originally hated humans.\n
Yet she conceded and searched for the father by herself. Vowing to meet him no matter what.\n
And as promised, that wish came true.\n
However-\n
The days apart still persisted.\n
She wanted to spend time with her father and mother.\n
So a new wish came to her heart.\n
So for the sake of education, she chose to leave the mountains and live in the village.\n
“Welcome home, Young Mistress.”\n
A well dressed servant greeted Kouko with a high amount of respect.\n
“Where is father-sama. . ?”\n
“He will not be here, due to circumstances involving work.”\n
“I see. . .”\n
Some people were curious about the girl on the top story of the hotel. Always impatiently waiting for her father’s return.\n
However the complicated circumstances weren’t known.\n
He said he would be back in a week? So she went home immediately.\n
Yet once again, nobody was there.\n
Kouko wanted to do something for her father.\n
So she asked the people around what she could do to help.\n
She pestered them until they finally gave her a chance to see if they had any new ideas.\n
But one was to welcome a new meal. That’s something her father would welcome.\n
She was not good with hot things, but she did have some ideas.\n
It was adopted immediately.\n
Though Yukiya’s shop said they imitated it.\n
She changed her clothes and left again.\n
Down to the kitchen on the bottom floor of the Hikura hotel. Down to deliver the wild vegetables she picked up without the help from other Yukimusumes.\n
“Here you are.”\n
Doing this has greatly improved her reputation.\n
As she walked through the kitchen, she noticed some chefs talking to each other.\n
One was on his smartphone.\n
There was an ominous atmosphere around them.\n
“That Snow House Shop. . .Really are trying stuff.”\n
“Look, the Mushroom Miso Udon looks pretty good. Do you want to copy it?”\n
She couldn’t overlook this suspicious conversation.\n
“What on earth are you talking about?”\n
The two sneaky people then noticed the young girl.\n
“Ah, Kouko-sama.”\n
“T-This is. . .”\n
Furthermore, she could see leaflets from the Snow House randomly placed around their workbench.\n
The headline says Snow House Original, Sansai Mushroom Udon.\n
“Explain.”\n
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~\n
Apparently Kouko had nothing to do with it. Interesting. I wonder if she will do anything to fix it. Or what she could do. I do sorta feel bad for her though.\n
