Time sped by and seven days passed in a blink of an eye.
During these seven days, Leo was working all around the clock on three unfinished projects. Sometimes, he even flew to the other side of the globe for shopping just to find suitable materials or prevent othersâ attention.
Nonetheless, now that seven days had passed, all three projects were completed.
The day before yesterday, after Leo had finished building the âAll-purpose Trackerâ, he flew to Triskelion and placed the shrunken tracker that was as small as a sesame seed into Pierceâs⊠ear canal.
He placed the tracker in a very tricky place. Even if Pierce had the habit of picking ears, he wouldnât even be able to pick it out.
Yesterday night, Leo had finished âCapsule Houseâ as well but without adding any furniture, it seemed rather lacking. However, bringing Bucky for a âtripâ should be more than enough. But âvisitingâ the otherâs house right after completing the âCapsule Houseâ made him feel like he was a stalker. So, he didnât bring Bucky out for a trip right away last night and chose to do it todayâs afternoon.
Besides âAll-purpose Trackerâ and âCapsule Houseâ, the âArc Reactorâ construction had finally come to an end as well. Currently, it was ten in the morning and Leo was standing right before the massive Arc Reactor with a pair of shining and thrilled eyes.
The mess surrounding the reactor was cleaned and the whole basement was much cleaner compared to when the construction work began.
When the Arc Reactor was deactivated, the entire structure appeared like a giant transparent donut while the wires, electrical components, steel foundation, etc looked like cream and sprinkles.
Leo had repeatedly checked the reactor, making sure the Arc Reactor would have no problem after the construction. So, he headed to the control panel and twisted a few knobs before abruptly pressing the âActivateâ button.
The next moment, the transparent donut began flashing electric sparks. The cracking light was extremely bright, causing Leo to involuntarily squint. As more and more sparks gathered, they soon formed an electrical arc. The arcs merged and started slowly rotating along the hollow glass tube.
As the rotation speed increased, the various sizes of instruments began showing countless fluctuating data of the Arc Reactor. Once the data stabilized, the Arc Reactor had passed its initial activation and entered a stable mode of operation.
At the moment, the Arc Reactor in front of Leo was almost exact with Stark Industriesâ one in terms of stability and output.
No! Leoâs Arc Reactor was, in fact, even better than Stark Industriesâ one
BecauseâŠ
He walked down the control panel and looked at the Arc Reactor, suddenly saying, âSteam, activate the detachment mode of the reactor!â
âBuzz! Activating detachment mode.â
Click!
Click!
Click!
The Arc Reactorâs steel foundation suddenly released a series of clicking noises and simultaneously, the reactor was gradually rising up. When the reactor rose to its peak, Leo instructed, âSteam, activate the reactorâs shrinking function.â
âBuzz! Activating the shrinking function.â
Instantly, the Arc Reactor that covered ten square feet vanished out of the blue, leaving the one-foot-tall steel foundation behind.
Meanwhile, Leo dashed to the center of the steel foundation like an arrow released from the bow. Viewing from afar, he was standing straight with his right hand raised on the same level as his eyes. About ten centimeters above his hand was a faint blue glowing mass suspended in the air.
If viewed from a little closer, one could see that the glowing mass was the miniaturized Arc Reactor. It was as small as a palm and its texture was almost invisible. The electrical arcs rotating in the hollow tube were mesmerizing, making Leo violently shut his eyes.
Surging his Mechanical Force, he abruptly opened his eyes and activated Mechanical Force Analysis and Mechanical Force â Insight on the Arc Reactor in his hand.
ăArc Reactor (Pym Particlesâ Shrunken ver.): An incomplete design by Howard Stark and Anton Vanko for an energy design competition. Possessed a huge size as well as an extremely huge capacity.
Notes: After being affected by the Pym Particles, its size is freely resizeable but its capacity and output remain the same.
Main material: Palladium
Energy output: 0 ~ 100 billion joules per second
Total capacity: Around 30,000,000,000 joules.ă
The corners of Leoâs eyes narrowed while his lips arched up and a flash of joy leaped onto his face. He silently said, âSuccess!â
The tiny object in his hand was far better than future Tony Starkâs miniaturized Arc Reactor. With this Arc Reactor, Leo wouldnât have to worry about insufficient energy for the armor for the next decade.
Thinking of this, he let out a chuckle.
After chuckling, he surfed his Mechanical Force and flicked his left hand, returning Viper Mark VIâs energy module to its original size. Then, he removed Vibranium Energy Crystal in the module with a wave of his hand and stuffed the Arc Reactor into the module.
Earlier during the construction, he had modified the reactorâs shape and now, it perfectly stuck into the module. With another wave, the module shrunk and merged with the Viper armor.
âSteam, create a new project, Viper Mark VII. Import Viper Mark VIâs model and replace the Vibranium Energy Crystal with the Arc Reactor. Mark the project as complete.â
âBuzz! The project is recorded.â
Looking at the tiny Viper Mark VII in his palm, Leo nodded in satisfaction. Then, he donned the armor and shrunk, eagerly flying up to the sky.
In the sky, he tested the armorâs newly replaced âheartâ and had a great time speeding. Finally, he returned to the lab after testing and took out the Vibranium Energy Crystal. The energy crystal had a larger amount of Vibranium than his armorâs Vibranium coating. By comparison, the amount was barely enough to build three more Viper armors.
Now that Leo had the far more efficient Pym Particles Arc Reactor, then he wouldnât leave it to gather dust. He was preparing to disassemble and repurpose it.
One-third of it, he would replicate the armor parts for backup, avoiding accidental damage to the armor. For the remaining two-thirds, he would coat it on the Storage Belt and Capsule House. Then, those two items would virtually be indestructible and he wouldnât have to worry about them being destroyed. Otherwise, his precious in the belt would scatter and they were smaller than an antâs leg. How embarrassing would it be if Leo crawled on the ground and couldnât find themâŠ
Besides, later when Leo was sleeping in the Capsule, he didnât have to worry that others would interrupt his sweet dream even if a missile was fired at him. On top of that, by having this Vibranium Capsule House, whenever he encountered an enemy that he couldnât defeat, he could just hide in the house which was basically an invincible land.
Soon enough, it was twelve oâclock in the noon. Leo looked at his watch and was going to get lunch with Bucky and then âto see thingsâ in Washington with Bucky.
But before he reached the staircase, Steam suddenly called out to him, âBuzz! An unknown incoming call from Washington. Accept it?â
