In the illuminated medium-sized office, Bucky felt relieved after the heart-to-heart talk with Leo and prepared to leave for Mingde Street. It was already eight oâclock at night and he had to travel to Mingde Street.
In fact, Leo still had something he wanted to tell Bucky. For example, he could reasonably help Bucky analyze that as a Super Soldier, even if Captain America were to crash with the plane, he wouldnât necessarily be dead. Perhaps, Steve was buried in some corners of the ice field.
Just look at Bucky, he had been frozen in the cryogenic chamber occasionally for months or even years, wasnât he still alive and kicking when he woke up?
But Leo had no idea the exact spot where Steve was frozen and didnât have the capability to conduct a huge-scale search for Steve. So, he thought for a bit and decided not to mention this first. Otherwise, Bucky certainly wouldnât have a good sleep and would pester him every day.
Leo naturally wanted to find Captain America in advance. In the current situation, things were different and he wanted to rely on his relationship with Bucky. If Captain America was awakened by Bucky, then will Captain America work for S.H.I.E.L.D. or the U.S. Military or leisurely follow Bucky and Leo to live leisurely and secretly save the world?
The answer was evident.
But all of these had to wait until Leo developed large-sized drones and successfully researched an advanced scanning technology. By then, mentioning this matter to Bucky wouldnât be too late either.
Anyhow, Captain America was discovered in the year 2011 based on his memory, so he wasnât in a hurry at all.
With that in mind, he stood up and left the office with Bucky. Bucky left and drove to Mingde Street while he returned to his underground laboratory.
âBuzz! Welcome back, Master.â Steam greeted Leo as per usual with its crispy and energetic voice.
âSteam, come. Letâs get to work.â Leo sat in front of a computer and clicked a new blueprint interface.
He had promised Bucky to bring him to Peggyâs house and take a peek, so he would do it.
âBuzz! Here comes Steam. Do you need any help, master?â Steamâs eyes were flashing.
âCreate a new project, Capsule House. Required technology, Pym Particles. Objective, freely resize the house and everything within it and be able to accommodate the human body normally.â
Controlled by Steam, the computerâs screen automatically produced a project named, âCapsule Houseâ.
âBuzz! Project created. Master, please choose to continue to fine-tune it or let Steam automatically generate itâ
âContinue to fine-tune it.â
Steam received the order and replied with a hum.
âImport Storage Beltâs model.â The Storage Beltâs 3D model immediately appeared on the screen.
âKeep only one compartment of the belt and remove the slot.â The model instantly shrunk and magnified right after. A metal cube box appeared.
âIncrease the thickness of the metal casing and use reinforced concrete as the main material. Change the boxâs model into a houseâs shape. Extract the electromagnetic emitter from Viper Mark VIâs helmet thatâs for protecting the brain. Copy it on the Capsule House and make the EM wave cover the whole house.â
That way, the people could resize with the Capsule House without being affected, just like the resizable car in âAnt-Man and the Waspâ.
âAdd a door in front of the house and a glass window behind it.â Then, Bucky was able to view the outside scenery clearly inside the house.
âBuzz! The model is generated. Please continue the fine-tuning.â
Looking at the rotating 3D model on the screen, Leo nodded inwardly.
âStretch the houseâs lateral size by twice and divide it into three segments. The right one is a bedroom, the middle one is a living room and the left one is the kitchen and washroom.â Leo thought he might as well make the Capsule House as good as possible, becoming a necessary piece of equipment for his traveling in the future.
âIncrease the living roomâs size a bit⊠And add another bedroom⊠Place some furniture, remember to fix them onto the ground to avoid them tumbling around.â
Leo and Steam were slowly perfecting the Capsule Houseâs blueprint.
An hour later, the blueprint was tuned to Leoâs satisfaction before he turned the 3D model into numerous 2D blueprints and printed them out.
Picking up the freshly printed blueprints, he said, âSteam, remove all the furniture first and make a list of unavailable materials and print it out. Iâll buy them when Iâm free.â
Leoâs current purchase efficiency was greater than Olâ Tomâs. Not only could he reach all over the globe anytime, but he also could buy everything in one go. Truly efficient. Therefore, a lot of things that he personally did were more convenient.
Swiping at the belt on his waist, a box slightly larger than A4 size appeared in Leoâs hand. He placed the printed list into the box and shrunk it before placing it back into his belt.
Affected by his Mechanical Force, the box would automatically open in the belt and place the list in a suitable place. He named the box Forwarding Box and was a creation that he was rather proud of. Or else, every time he needed to retrieve something from the belt, he had to enlarge the belt first. How troublesome was that?!
After designing the â Capsule Houseâ, Leo wasnât in a hurry to build the real thing.
Previously when he returned from S.H.I.E.L.D., he was going to prepare a tracker to prevent Pierce from escaping.
âSteam, create a new project, All-purpose Tracker. Projectâs objective, send accurate location signals within two kilometers and locatable by GPS globally. Generate it automatically.â
âBuzz! Project created. Model generated. Please continue fine-tuning.â
Next, Leo began modifying the new model. Designing the All-purpose Tracker was rather simple. In just ten minutes, he had finished designing the 3D model and printed a stack of blueprints and material lists.
Why was it simple to design the tracker?
This was thanks to the U.S. spending more than three decades building a successful huge project, the Global Positioning System, or the GPS!
However, this project in the Marvel Universe was different from the one Leo knew in his previous world. In the Marvel Universe, the GPS was successfully built earlier this year which was a year earlier than his previous world. But the similarity was the U.S. immediately announced the civilian usage of GPS after its completion and also opened it to the world for free. The users were only required to purchase the GPS chip.
Regarding the GPS, there were some interesting points to highlight.
It was said that this project was led by the U.S. Department of Defense in conjunction with Stark Industries. That was why every satelliteâs outer shell had Stark Industriesâ name and logo.
On top of that, the U.S. agreed to release this system for civilians for free due to Howard Starkâs suggestion. Some even said that Stark Industries had a greater control authority over the satellites compared to the U.S. government. There were even rumors that Stark Industries did many similar things. On the surface, Stark Industries was a huge corporation but in reality, saying it controlled the lifeline of the U.S. wasnât too over.
Leo who watched âSpider-man: Far From Homeâ was convinced of this and even felt the rumors were too downplayed! For example, numerous drones in the movie could do whatever they wanted in the whole world.
Saying the entire Earth in the Marvel Universe was Stark Industriesâ backyard wasnât wrong either.
But fortunately, the current Stark Industries didnât possess a strong reign and Leo could still live leisurely. He even believed that he could develop El Tech Company to exceed Stark Industries.
Having this thought, Leo suddenly recalled something.
Previously when he named El Tech Company with âElâ, it was because he was afraid of H.Y.D.R.A. locating him through the name. Now that he had wiped out the H.Y.D.R.A. within the U.S. and Dr. Zola knew his companyâs location, why not find a chance and change the name?
Erwin Tech Company sounded more in line with the features of Marvel Universe than El Tech Company!
He subconsciously nodded and quietly stored this matter in his mind.
