It’s now late in the evening, the rush hour of the festival had come and gone so the venue is filled with a relaxed atmosphere. It might just be the right time to go the exhibitions that were hard to get to due to the crowds.
“These are the best hours to get at it if you’re planning to go through the whole thing. Guys who are used to the festival stay here this late.”

Geidai has produced many illustrators. Case in point is Akishima Shino herself and so as many other famous artists. In line with this, the Anime Research Club’s magazine has a great number of alumni contributing to it so it’s said that the its quality is top of the line. The small scale sale’s event held at the festival was considered a famous spot for those in the know.\n“You can’t get their products from winter and summer comiket and getting it through mail-order isn’t really an option so this is the only place where the privilege of being a Geidai student can be utilized!”\nI think there are other perks too though.\n

“Seriously!? That’s a bummer! I even promised to sell it to a guy I go to the same class with for 200 yen more, no way!”\nKiryu-san looked seriously depressed and held his head with both his hands. He was even thinking of scalping it. That’s not good at all.\n“I’ll talk with the author later. There maybe leftover stock.”\nYamashina-san said consolingly.\n“So, how are you two faring?”
He faced the 2 of us.\n“Ah, I’m Hashiba a first year student of the film department.”\n“Likewise, my name’s Hikawa”
“Call me Yamashina. I act as the head of Aniken. You guys came here because you like games right?”\n“Eehhh ahh

It contains pictures of various BGs. From spring and summer to fall and winter and also urban, rural, and sky scenes. There is a many illustrations in a variety of themes, it was breathtaking.
“Yamashina is an art student. He admires Studio Jibri’s works and Isanagi’s artworks and aims to make that sort of thing. He’s been saying it’s an important thing to him for the longest time.”\nHiyama-san chuckles.\n“It’s a bit of a touchy subject though. In fact, when I show my portfolio I’m always asked “Don’t you have any illustrations of girls?” that sort of thing. I’m the president of the Aniken but I’m not as popular as the other members.”

“I’m think there’ll be a demand at some point

I reach out for a certain memory.\nA social network game was a huge hit in 2016. There was an art director who single-handedly crafted a beautiful fantasy world. It’s vague, but the name “Yamashina” comes to mind. Even if they weren’t one and the same, ten years later, there is no shortage of people who need a man of his talent. Yamashina-san is bound to have more work in the future.

We talked for a while more with Kiryu-senpai and eventually went our ways without buying anything.

next year I’ll have to wait in line from day one.”
He sounds like one of those buying experts. And in the first place, is he planning to attend college again next year even when he’s already a 5th year

.everyone’s doing their best in their own way.”\nLooking the ROM in my hand, I remember what happens in the future. It’s not just limited to BG art, our sense of what we hold value in can greatly change in 10 years’ time. Even those who are obstinate and are active in the field right now are molding themselves to fit those said values. No matter how much one may claim to know about the future, In the end it’s all about the power of your will and conviction.

I squeezed the ROM to my chest, cherishing it, I carefully put it inside my bag.\nI was brought there without really understanding anything but I was able to see something good.\n“Hikawa-kun!  The two of them were roused up and let out a hearty laugh
Eight years later, a gal game with girls wearing battle suits and flying should would become a smash hit and even has an anime in tow
