Ch29 - Hard to Get

Maybe it was a side effect of the drug or maybe it was because Wang Chao felt extremely empty, but after he came out from the shower, he was extremely cold and shivering. He felt as if he had a fever.

He rubbed his towel into his hair as he looked for Xie Zhuxing. After going around in a circle and not finding him, he called out, “Xiao Xie.”

A moment later, Xie Zhuxing slid open the balcony door and walked in. Because of the running air conditioner, he closed the door after him.

But Wang Chao still smelled a faint smokey scent. “You smoked?” he asked Xie Zhuxing. He’s never seen him smoke before.

Xie Zhuxing didn’t answer nor did he look at him. “Leave if you’re done with your shower.”

Wang Chao didn’t want to leave. “It’s already so late, and I didn’t bring my car either. I’m going to sleep here.”

He flopped on the bed as he finished talking.

Xie Zhuxing, “…Go dry your hair before you sleep.”

He couldn’t hit him and he couldn’t yell at him. There was no way to release his stomach of anger against this shameless scoundrel.

Wang Chao went to carelessly blow-dry his hair. He didn’t completely dry it before he came back and laid down again.

“You lazy bum,” Xie Zhuxing said.

Wang Chao reasoned with him, “Your blow-dryer is too heavy. You should buy a lighter one.”

Xie Zhuxing didn’t pay him any attention as he climbed into the bed from the other side. He laid especially close to the side, leaving at least half a meter of space between them.

However, it seems Wang Chao didn’t understand the meaning behind the action as he scooted closer. He sniffed the smokey smell on Xie Zhuxing’s body and asked, “So you smoke? How come I’ve never seen you smoke before?”

Xie Zhuxing was now on the edge of the bed with nowhere to run. He said annoyingly, “I don’t smoke. Stop talking and sleep.”

He reached over and turned off the light.

After a while, he felt Wang Chao scooting closer to him again; he was very close to touching him. He could already feel the body heat coming from Wang Chao.

At the end of his patience, he turned on the light to take a look. As expected, Wang Chao’s head was on his pillow. The other side of the bed and the other pillow were empty.

“What are you doing?” he said angrily. “Why are you cramming into me when there’s the whole other side of the bed for you to sleep on?”

Wang Chao looked at him as if he had been wronged. “Xiao Xie, I’m cold.”

Xie Zhuxing, “…” Keep on acting pitiful. Who’s going to fall for that?

“I think I have a fever,” Wang Chao said as he touched his forehead. “I can’t tell if I touch my forehead. You touch it.”

Xie Zhuxing skeptically reached over to gently feel his head, but there didn’t seem to be an obvious change in temperature. But when he fully rested his hand on Wang Chao’s forehead, he really did seem to feel a burning sensation.

Xie Zhuxing’s hand touched the bruise on Wang Chao’s forehead. It still hurt a little. Wang Chao asked with furrowed brows, “Is it hot?”

Xie Zhuxing knotted his eyebrows. He was nervous but there was nothing he could do. “A little bit.”

He got off the bed and rummaged through his drawer. He remembered that he should still have a few pieces of Ibuprofen left. However, after looking for a while, he couldn’t find it. He suspected that he probably left it in one of his bags, so he went rummaging through the closet.

Wang Chao laid there as he watched Xie Zhuxing search. He knew  he was looking for medicine to give him. He felt especially happy. “If you can’t find it then it’s fine. I’ll be good after a night of sleep.”

After searching everywhere, Xie Zhuxing still couldn’t find it. He said annoyed, “How did you manage to get a fever when it’s this hot outside?”

Wang Chao didn’t think  his body was that weak either. “Probably a side effect of the drug. I took an aphrodisiac.”

Xie Zhuxing, “…” Burn to death. It wouldn’t be a waste.

He couldn’t find the medicine, so he shut the closet with a bang.

Wang Chao saw  he was about to get angry, so he rapidly rolled up from the bed and explained, “I didn’t want to eat it. It was someone else who drugged me.”

Xie Zhuxing was stunned. “…Who drugged you?”

Wang Chao had been holding it in for the whole evening. Now he can finally have a chance to spit everything out. “You don’t know anything. Ever since the last time my big bro beat me, my butt hurt for so many days after. I haven’t had the chance to go out ever since. Because I made plans to eat dinner with you today, I wanted to hurry and get here. But who knew that I would run into something like this. I accidentally drank some water that was drugged. I felt awful and I did it with that person in a hazy state. Then, I thought of how I made plans with you to eat mala crayfish and I rushed here without even taking a shower.”

He didn’t mention the fact that the other party was a man. He wanted to quickly erase the events of today from his memory. The fact that he was almost raped by a guy and ended up fucking him instead, it sounded like a huge joke.

Xie Zhuxing didn’t come to the conclusion that the other party was a man either. As he listened to Wang Chao curse about how he wanted to quickly come and eat mala crayfish with him, Xie Zhuxing thought that it was both funny and anger inducing. Half of his anger disappeared as he listened to his rant. He asked, “Other than your fever, is there anywhere else where you don’t feel good?”

Hearing that his tone had softened a little, Wang Chao immediately sat up and started to sell pity. He lifted up his bangs and said, “I also bumped my forehead. This is gonna take at least two or three days for the swelling to go down. Look at how red it is. It really fucking hurts.”

Xie Zhuxing searched again. After making sure  there really wasn’t any more fever medicine in the house, he said, “I’ll go out and buy some medicine for you.”

Wang Chao sat on the bed and covered himself with a thin quilt. “No need for medicine. Just turn off the AC, I’m cold.”

Xie Zhuxing walked over and rubbed his forehead. It didn’t seem like it was a high fever. Seeing how Wang Chao’s eyes were very lively, it didn’t seem like there was anything else wrong with him. Xie Zhuxing turned off the AC and said, “Then sleep. Make sure to properly cover yourself with the blanket. Don’t kick it off.”

The two laid down once again as Xie Zhuxing turned off the lights.

Wang Chao laid wrapped up in the blankets for a while, but he still felt cold, so he went and rubbed up against Xie Zhuxing.

Xie Zhuxing didn’t move. He didn’t get mad like before either.

Wang Chao felt that Xie Zhuxing was really warm, so he inched closer and hugged him, even plastering his face on his shoulder.

Xie Zhuxing’s throat bobbed. “What are you doing?” he asked.

Wang Chao whined, “I’m really cold.”

His breath hit Xie Zhuxing’s shoulder and neck.

A numb itch rushed from that area to the top of Xie Zhuxing’s head. This unspeakable itch slowly spread to the apex of the heart.

….It’s over, he admits his defeat.

A thundering drum also started in Wang Chao’s heart.

He had never thought that he and Xiao Xie could have an intimate relationship other than cuddling. He already felt that their one kiss was the limit of their “relationship”.

Tonight, he saw the world from a broader perspective. What tiny thing was a kiss? It turns out he wanted to have sex with Xiao Xie too.

He didn’t like guys. There were often many attractive gays in the nightclub, if he really wanted to do it with them, he would’ve done it ages ago. He has no morals, but he is really not gay. If Bai Tu’s stupid manager didn’t give him that drug, he would never touch a man in his life.

It’s just that now that he’s already experienced it, it’s not that different from doing it with a girl.

If he could do it with guys, then why couldn’t he do it with Xiao Xie?

Xiao Xie’s waist was so thin.

Xiao Xie’s skin was so smooth.

Xiao Xie’s collar bones were so sexy.

Doing it with Xiao Xie would definitely feel really good.

The more he thought about it, the more he wanted to do it with Xiao Xie. But he didn’t dare to say it.

To Wang Chao, sex was like eating a bowl of noodles. But to Xiao Xie, sex didn’t seem to feel so carefree, he defintely wouldn’t let it happen. He was also easily embarrassed, he might even get mad if Wang Chao asked.

Sex with him was going to be hard to get.
