Ch24 - Stay overnight

Xie Yan rushed to Ji Qinghuai’s side and hurriedly helped him up. Ji Qinghuai was barely conscious. He knew that the person beside him was Xie Yan, but his body couldn’t move.

Most of Ji Qinghuai’s body was frozen and Xie Yan’s arms, which were supporting him, were also starting to feel cold.

Xie Yan stood silently for a moment. He then stretched out his hands to gently pick up Ji Qinghuai and in the same manner, placed him onto the bed. He retrieved the quilt from the sofa and tucked him in. After that, he lay down beside him.

However, Ji Qinghuai was completely unaware of this and remained motionless until the next morning. In a daze, he turned over and suddenly caught something in his arms.

Ji Qinghuai opened his eyes in shock. Xie Yan’s surprised face was magnified in front of him and he was also stunned by Ji Qinghuai’s action of embracing him.
