â-I mean, this sumo skill series. I wonder if this was also put in by Nesis-sama. If so, that person is too familiar with sumo⌠There is even a bow twirling ceremony.â
ăHow can this skill be useful?
ăI cannot think of anything to acquire.
ăAfter that, I checked the skills from top to bottom, but I could not find any skills that grew naturally.
ăI think I have trained a lot, and I have grown to some extent based on the skill board.
ăBased on common knowledge the higher the level of the skill, the harder it is to raise.
[Sword Arts] and [Magic Arts] are already Lv5 and already at the middle level. [A/N: Because the counter maxes out at level 10.] [T/N: The author left a note, nice.]
ăUnless you live in a world where all of your skills are already maxed-out, it is not going to be easy to raise the skill level.
ăIn Kendo, it took me 31 years of training to go from the first to the eighth dan.
ăAs Esther said, it takes a lot of training time to improve your skills.
ăHowever, I can easily raise my skills.
ăI realize once again how amazing the skill board was.
ăBy the time I finished checking my skills, the sun was starting to set.
ăSeeing that, I head to the kitchen and started preparing dinner.
ăLunch was only steak and soup that I could quickly cook.
ăFor dinner, I wanted to try a dish that would take a little longer to cook.
ăAs for the [Cooking] skill that has maxed out, I am now able to cook and season meat to a godly level.
ăHowever, improving my skills does not automatically give me knowledge.
ăIt is only my techniques that can be raised through skill.
ăI had many dishes I want to try though.
ăHowever, the seasonings were overwhelmingly insufficient for my purpose.
ăTo recreate the dishes, I had eaten in Japan; I needed to make the seasonings first.
âIt would have been nice if the market sold them, but they did notâŚâ
ăWhen I went to the market for lunch, I also secured some seasonings.
ăNevertheless, the market did not have most of the seasonings I was looking for.
ăAll I could find was salt, pepper, vinegar, and chili.
ăI found some other unique seasonings, but no miso or soy sauce.
âIf I have soy sauce, you can make Japanese Simmered Fish!â
ăI was hungry for some Japanese food.
ăI do not miss Japan, but I miss Japanese food.
ăUnfortunately, even the ingredients for seasonings are not available in Eargard.
ăThere is no Jiuqu to make miso and soy sauce, which are essential for Japanese food. [T/N: Jiuqu is the starter agent for fermenting miso and soy sauce.]
ăNo matter how much you boil and mash the beans and add salt, you end up with salted beans.
ăTherefore, it cannot be helped.
ăI left the Japanese food for a while and decided to make some from the seasonings that I could make.
ăFirst, I will make mayonnaise.
ăI have never actually made mayonnaise before, but fortunately, I know the ingredients.
ăOil, eggs, salt, and vinegar.
ăTherefore, I took out the ingredients from the [Inventory] and left the rest to my skills to make the mayonnaise.
âOh!â
ăAs expected, [Cooking â ].
ăIn less than thirty minutes, a bowl of mayonnaise was finished.
â⌠Is this a little too much?â
ăThere is no refrigerator in Eargard, and unpasteurized mayonnaise is quick to spoil.
ăIf left at room temperature, it will be spoiled tomorrow morning.
âThe next time I make some, I will try to restrain myselfâŚâ
ăNow that the mayonnaise is complete, I continued making tartar sauce.
ăTartar sauce is easy as long as I have mayonnaise.
ăBoil the eggs and add the onions, vinegar, and salt.
ăOriginally, I wanted sugar, but I gave up because it was so expensive.
âKukkukku âŚâ
ăWhile I was making the tartar sauce, I also made the main dish and the side dishes for tonight.
ăI was cooking the food I have been craving for so long, that I became so concentrated during the cooking process. I forgot about everything else.
âFuhaha!â
ăAs the sun began to set, the kitchen was filled with the sound of ingredients being fried in oil and the sound of my laughter.
