The show has activated their backup plan, and is sending out reserve cameras from their base, flying towards the destination quickly.
The vice director asks hurriedly, âhow long will it take?â
His employee looks at the location on the screen, answers, ânumber 199 is still moving. If we calculate based on current velocity, itâll be at least half an hour.â
The vice director complains, âtoo slow! Immediately order all nearby contestantsâ cameras to number 199. Whoâs nearest to him?â
âBeauty is under an ambush with a group of people there. We can pull 2 from that scene, but itâll be 20 odd minutes before it catches up to number 199.â
âReport on number 199, can he last that long?â
And then another bad news comes, âShit! The camera for number 199 has also been damaged!â
âDamn it! Is it that wolf again? Are they trying to rebel?!â
The employee denies, âNo. It appears to have hit a tree while filming Bright. We believe itâs an accident.â
The situation continues spiralling out of control, becoming more and more disadvantageous for number 199.
The vice director has a look that seems as if the sky has collapsed, âitâs over, itâs over⌠What do we say to that person⌠Maybe we should call off the show for now.â
Other staff are looking at each other worryingly, confused and fretting. While the staff are in chaos, the Directorâs voice reverberates throughout the control room, âback to your positions, continue working.â
The vice director does not approve of the Directorâs decision, âbutâŚâ
âNo buts. Whether number 199 lives or dies, the show continues.â
After the flying camera falls down, Bright stops running, and faces âWolfieâ who has been chasing him.
âThereâs finally no one to interfere.â The hunter says, gladly.
Bright is thinking, what a coincidence. I wanted to say that to you too.
Without talking, he attacks the youngster with twice the speed he has just now. You can only see afterimages with the naked eye with how fast he is.
âWolfieâ has to dodge attack after attack, with no way to retaliate. Because of shock, he widens his eyes a bit. Number 199 is already pretty strong as he appears, but he didnât think it was the result after suppressing his power. He no longer takes Bright likely, and does not back off. In fact, he is feeling invigorated with this surprise.
He also has a trump card.
âWolfieâ looks down on Bright, saying, âas a human, you are strong, but⌠itâs still not enough.â
The other personâs words make Bright deeply worried, how âWolfieâ is saying it is as if he isnât human.
Then he sees the clothes and pants of the youngster in front of him violently stretched and torn. His 1.8m figure quickly grows to 3 metres . Black hair quickly grows out of his torso and limbs. His hands and fingers lengthen and thicken. His human fingernails shed and become sharp claws. On his head, his human mouth lengthens and his whole head turns into the ruthless head of a wolf. His teeth also lengthen and sharpen, especially the canines, reflecting a cold, lethal shine under the lighting.
Jesus Christ, itâs a werewolf!
Are there vampires? Witches? Monster hunters?
What kind of weird shit is mixed into this book?! Itâs suddenly high Western fantasy?!
Faced with this half-wolf, half-man creature howling at himself, Bright understands the answer to his many questions.
Why âWolfieâ was âWolfie,â why their team is âthe Wolves,â why he decided to smash his camera like he did⌠Itâs because he has such a secret hidden in him.
Though there are clearly more puzzles to be solved, one thing is certain. Theyâre on guard against the show and other contestants, protecting their secrets cautiously.
The battle must be ended quickly! Dead man tell no tales!
The same thought emerges in the minds of both the man and the wolf.
Killing intent bursts out of the area.
Bright has always concealed his true power. When he was taken away by men sent by the Shithead, he could have simply taken care of the whole team of enemies, but he chose to endure.
No biggie, itâs just a full course meal served with a whip in the end!
He managed to face the Shithead directly, and has seen both the Inner City and Outer City. He even got the layout of the Shitheadâs house! Haha! Itâs his loss!
Yet at this moment, with the situation forcing his hand, he has to reveal his full power. It might not be enough for a whole pack of werewolves, but it is much more than enough for one.
He doesnât feel relieved, however. Whether he wins or loses is bad for him either way, if he loses, he dies. If he wins, it doesnât get any better either.
Why are there werewolves in the contestants?
How many people know about this?
And himself. How should he explain how he survived in the fight with werewolves?
The words âhuman fleshlightâ flashes across his mind. He laughs in pity. Is he doomed to be sent to the operation table?
On the other hand, Wolfie is more and more dumbfounded as he fights. This is not the power of a human!
Number 199 is way more powerful and way more agile than him. Heâs being pummelled; howâs that possible?!
The werewolf is thrown smashing into a small grove of trees. Trunk after trunk snaps and falls. The man continues his assault, rushing in front of him. He blocks his retaliatory right paw. The manâs hand is like an iron vice, completely unmoving however much he struggles.
A piece of broken log as thick as the adult thigh, 3 to 4 metres long, lie by his left. The man picks it up with one hand, and pushes its sharp end right into his hind legs. Almost half of the log also penetrates into the ground.
âAWOOOOOOOâââ The werewolf howls out in pain, and starts to struggle violently, but it is useless.
After a dazed feeling, he finds himself completely subdued on the ground by the man, with his left hind leg pinned with a piece of hardwood log onto the ground and his other hind leg suppressed with the kneecap of the man. Both of his paws also held in place. He lifts his head, trying to bite, then the man dodges and furrows his brows looking at him.
âDo you understand human speech?â The man asks.
âAwoooâââ Release me you fucker!
âIt seems you understand, with how angry you look.â
âAwoooâââ Of course I understand- do you think Iâm retarded?!
âIâll say and youâll listen,â Bright says coldly, âI know the Wolves are very strong together, and Iâll probably be defeated. But you donât know my true power. This is my advantage. I can pin you here with the piece of wood to attract your pack. To save you, they must split up, with one group tending to you and the other continuing to pursue me. This will give me a chance. Iâll kill you all one by one.â
The cruel and ruthless wolfâs eyes start to show a bit of fear. Though the wolfâs still howling, it is getting weaker. Wolfie isnât afraid of dying, but he is afraid of being a burden to his pack. It will be because of him that his pack is getting into trouble.
After having scared him, Bright sighs a bit in relief. He continues, âI can choose not to do that, because it isnât advantageous to me either. Even if I win, Iâll be paying too big a price, which is not good for what I plan to do. I have a secret, and so do you. Iâll let you go this once, and then weâre even, deal?â
A bit of struggle appears on the werewolfâs expression. Bright continues to pile on his stakes, âthereâs not much time. We made too much of a noise. The show will be here any moment now.â
The werewolf stares at him, as if suspicious of his sincerity. When Bright is about to lose his patience, he closes his eyes to show he accedes.
Wolves are a deceptive creature, and Bright dares not let his guard down, restraining him with his body while watching him closely, before removing the piece of hardwood log pinning his hind leg.
The 3 metre tall werewolf slowly turns back into a human teenager, like magic.
The two people are in a certainly compromising position, with the man on top and the teenager, completely undressed below. Their bodies are touching closely, each immersed in the otherâs scent.
âRelease me, you big pervert!â Wolfie says angrily.
Bright doesnât do as he says, however, instead putting his hand below his waist.
Wolfie feels the hand playing about with his soft organ. His face reddens with anger and shame.
Bright is shocked, he didnât mistake it just now!
The werewolf only has a pole without balls!
He saw it by accident when fightingââThe werewolf fought standing without clothes on. Heâll be blind if he couldnât see it. He thought his fur has covered up his balls, but hewasnât sure. He can only confirm it when he touches it with his own hands.
âIs this congenital? Or is it done afterwards?â
âWhy do you care!â Wolfieâs eyes are bloodshot. His body between a teenager and a young adult is yet inexperienced. He appears to have recalled something scary from Brightâs words â being injected with sedatives, his consciousness sinking, being neutered on top of an operation table.
He starts shaking, as if from fear, as if from anger, as if from sadness.
