Let’s talk about the SVD, what kind of sniper rifle is it?\n
SVD is short for Snajperskaja Vintovka Dragunova (latin name, Snajperskaja=snipe, Vintovka=gun, Dragunova=Dragunov), it’s a semi-automatic sniper rifle that was officially adopted by the Soviet army (at the time).\n
The weapon designer, Yevgeny Fyodorovich Dragunov, developed the rifle based on the mechanism of the AK. The operation mechanism is almost the same as AK, gas operation style, which has low number of parts, thus highly reliable.\nThe specs are as below:\n

Shia had to take out a grenade, support her body with strengthening magic, then recklessly throw the grenade aimed at the basilisk’s face. After I heard that, I decided to make the grenade launcher attachment.\n
Instead of throwing with your hands, there was a way to deliver the grenade further, more accurate, it’s called [rifle grenade].\nInstall the exclusive attachment for rifle, and using a blank round, you can shoot the grenade.\n
But with this method, the grenade firing attachment needed to be mounted right on the muzzle, making it impossible to fire any bullets in the meantime — That was its weak point.\n
Eventually, eliminating the need for blanks or a rifle, a gun that just fired grenades exclusively — a handheld grenade launcher — was developed. With the break-open style, it can load 40mm grenades.\n\nHowever, you'd not only be defenseless while loading in the grenades, but also wouldn't get to carry around a rifle or machine gun's amount of ammo because of how big those grenades were.
Carrying only a grenade launcher — even carrying just the grenades — it became apparent you simply couldn't carry all that much ammunition.\n\nAnd so they came up with the idea to combine the grenade launcher and rifle together.
This 'Grenade Launcher Equipped Rifle' is, of course, bulkier and heavier than either the grenade launcher or rifle by itself would be. But it’s obviously still lighter and easier to handle than carrying both those things at once.\n
And this type of grenade launcher is what I call the Add-on Grenade, or Underbarrel Grenade.\n \n
The Add-on Grenade that I'll be putting together now, will be a GB15 40mm Add-on Grenade that can be fitted onto an AK-series without modification.\n\n
Also, with the experience of having fought a basilisk, I've been determined to develop something that isn't just a hand grenade but a particularly loud and blinding variant, a stun grenade.
Next time, if we have to fight a basilisk or anything else that has such dangerous eyes, I wouldn't feel safe with just grenades alone. Having to throw a live grenade at its eyes from close enough to get hit by the blast… Isn’t the kind of situation I'd want.
Since that’s the case, I was eager to make something that would cause less damage to the user, even if by just a little.\n
The stun grenade is that something.\n
Stun grenades are similar in shape to hand grenades and smoke grenades. If you throw one with the pin removed, a blindingly bright flash and a ground shaking, extremely loud bang will come from it a few seconds later.\n
As its purpose is to not kill or send any shrapnel flying, this falls in the category of non-lethal equipment.\n
Whether or not magnesium can be recreated through magic will be key to developing this.\n\nBy the way, stun grenades aren't one-time use only. The casing's made of metal, so you could use one up to about 20 times by replacing what's inside.\n
