Feng Xuan ridiculed in response, “Don’t overestimate yourself, who do you think you are? Are you saying that he wouldn’t be able to live without you?”
“You can go ask him yourself whether he can live without me or not.” ke40jy
After successfully coming out of the closet to Jiang Yuman, Feng Fei felt as though he could fly; he narrowed his eyes and gave a lazy smile. “He’s especially sticky and likes to act coquettishly towards me.”
Feng Fei had never spoken to others about how he and Hai Xiu were getting along, always acting apathetic towards Feng Xuan when asked about them; so, the fact that the former would take the initiative and speak up had aroused Feng Xuan’s curiosity. “Are you crazy? Him? Being sticky towards you? Aren’t you the one acting all lovey-dovey towards him?”
“That’s really not the case.” Feng Fei objected, “You always view his personality as that of an introvert—someone who dislikes speaking, but the truth is he doesn’t act this way when we’re together, and turns into a completely different person when he’s with me. He can talk and laugh, likes sticking to me, and is especially likable.”
Feng Xuan hummed. “How likable?” l7SRGs
Feng Fei gave Feng Xuan a glance, speaking in a cold tone, “That isn’t something for you to know, so stop overthinking.”
Feng Xuan teased, “Surely, you jest! Why would I even want to imagine you in a lewd situation when you haven’t even used a condom yet.”
He then chuckled. “It seems as though you’ve completely thrown away your shame today?”
Feng Xuan didn’t really care about Feng Fei’s act. Taking a puff on his cigarette, he observed Hai Xiu, who was crying not far away, and said, “You’re not going over there to comfort him? It’s quite uncomfortable just watching him from here.” cznl3V
Feng Fei shook his head in reply. “No need. He has been scared for so long, afraid of being found out the entire time. Now that he has finally been outed, I should at least give him some time to adapt…”
A classmate from the same grade, carrying a woven bag filled with books passed by while they were conversing. Noticing Hai Xiu from afar, he spoke to Feng Fei in a surprised manner as they came across each other, “How to say this? Hai Xiu, he…”
“Too much pressure from the gaokao (university entrance examinations).” Feng Fei sighed endlessly. “The burden of being first in the whole grade is too much.”
Feng Xuan, “…” FKjO6D
The classmate who passed by instantly understood and comforted him, saying, “You should spend more time coaxing him ah! The exam results haven’t come out yet; with his grades, how bad could it be? Even if he flunked one of the subjects in the exams, his results will still be higher than my total combined score.”
Feng Fei nodded. “Ain’t that the case! Then I’ll really go and coax him in a bit….”
The passerby classmate left with a sigh just as Feng Xuan gave Feng Fei an unbelieving look. Rolling his eyes, he left and got in the car first.
Hai Xiu did not know whether to laugh or cry. He rubbed his eyes and looked towards Jiang Yuman with a slight unease. Jiang Yuman’s eyes had also reddened. As she still felt slightly awkward when facing Feng Fei, she found an excuse to return to the car first, stating that she wanted to repark the car somewhere close to the school building.

“Feng Fei….”
Hai Xiu looked at Feng Fei. He had millions of words within his heart but didn’t know what he should say first. 9o5Nwh
“It’s fine. ” Feng Fei gently rubbed the head of a Hai Xiu with reddened eyes, leaving all the words unspoken.
Feng Fei took a look at the time and said, “Let’s go move our books first. Are you hungry? ”
“Still not that hungry yet.” Hai Xiu shook his head. “Let’s move the books first, since we can go home earlier if we finish everything earlier.”
“Returning to whose home?” Feng Fei took a glance at Jiang Yuman who was backing her car from not far away and whispered, “You’re still going home at night?” cBplGK
Hai Xiu hesitated for a while. “I didn’t tell my mom earlier. I…I will ask her later.”
“It’s fine if your mother is unwilling.” Feng Fei was not in a hurry.
The two boys went to tidy up their things, meeting quite a few classmates they were familiar with on the way. They greeted everyone and arranged a time for a gathering before bidding everyone farewell.
Since they were held back for a whole afternoon, Feng Fei and Hai Xiu returned quite late, with most of the people within the school building already gone when they arrived. The entire senior high school building looked as though it was ransacked, leaving the entire place—from the great hall to the upper floors, in a complete mess. The two of them headed upstairs, only to find the school dean running desperately towards them. Hai Xiu was shocked motionless, and Feng Fei had to move him out of the way as the dean rushed by. Seeing the school dean with a stern face running past them like the wind, Hai Xiu, who still had not recovered from his stupor, saw from behind the dean, a group of male students crowding towards him; some were holding colored pencils and some holding erasers, chasing the school dean while laughing out loud. Hai Xiu swallowed his saliva, while Feng Fei’s face turned black. “Supposedly…this sort of thing happens once a year.”
Hai Xiu silently prayed that the dean would not be bullied too badly before heading upstairs with Feng Fei.
Returning to the classroom, they found wastepaper scattered everywhere, with the floor littered with messy exam papers and torn textbooks. There was literally nowhere for their feet to land when they walked in. Feng Fei shook his head with a smile. “Such hatred…Would you like to tear books as well?”
Hai Xiu shook his head vehemently. “My mom promised someone that she would give my books to their family’s children.” 9qN4VQ
Feng Fei chuckled lightly, letting Hai Xiu tidy up his desk first. He went to the back of the classroom and opened their lockers, organizing their books into different subjects. Except for the exercise booklets which were no longer needed, the textbooks and notes were neatly organized and stacked into piles before being placed into the prepared schoolbag.
Feng Fei fastened the schoolbag before turning his head to look at Hai Xiu. When he saw what was happening, he couldn’t help but laugh. “Baby, there’s no use for our notes anymore, why are you still bringing them back?”
Hai Xiu took the notepad that was half-filled with words written by Feng Fei and hid them inside his schoolbag in an embarrassed manner, before speaking in a low voice, “Since you’ve written on it… it’s too much of a pity to throw them away.”
“A pity…” Feng Fei said in a helpless manner, “Fine, just take two of those notepads with you, or else it’ll be too heavy.” qYjEgw
After getting his permission, Hai Xiu felt much more relieved as he sneakily shoved the rest of the stuff that Feng Fei had no need for anymore into his own bag.
Feng Fei tidied up the two people’s textbooks before walking towards Hai Xiu’s side, giving out a light chuckle. “This habit of yours will never change. Where are you going to place them when we get back?”

Hai Xiu took Feng Fei’s semi-used pencil case, and whispered, “I can continue to use them.”
“Use my ass.” Feng Fei held onto Hai Xiu’s arm, turning the other around to face him and stayed silent for a while before smiling. “What did your mom say to you just now? Did she already agree?” fxYld6
Hai Xiu lightly nodded his head, brightening his eyes, “My mom said…as long as I feel that this decision is the best for myself, she…she would respect it.”
Feng Fei said in a calm manner, “Today is an auspicious day! Your mom has been moved by me, so she agreed, and then…”
Hai Xiu widened his eyes nervously. “And then? And then what? She…Will she regret it?”
Feng Fei raised his eyebrows. “And then ah, I’ll treat you well! I’ll treat you better and better, so your mom will finally feel reassured.” 9sRzdm
Hai Xiu smiled. “The way you treat me already couldn’t be any better.”
“Good.” Feng Fei took the bag in Hai Xiu hands, placing it to the side. “You already feel that this wouldn’t get any better?”
Hai Xiu couldn’t imagine how Feng Fei could treat him even better than before, so he stated candidly, “I can’t imagine you treating me any better, Feng Fei. I’ve actually been worried this whole time….”
Hai Xiu’s voice started wavering. “I’ve always been worried…worrying about what will happen if you found out. I’ve always wanted to perform better in front of you, so that you would like me back. I’ve also been scared that you would find out about that illness of mine….” 2G prF
Hai Xiu then continued to speak with a guilty conscience, “I’ve actually been lying to you the whole time.”
Feng Fei chuckled. “Afraid of what I’ll do once I know?”
Hai Xiu replied fearfully, “I’m afraid you’ll think that I’m crazy, then ignore me.”
Feng Fei’s smile faded. He asked, “If I were to ignore you? What will you do?” cg9A1F
Hai Xiu froze, before replying softly, “I…will probably transfer to a different school again.”
Feng Fei frowned as Hai Xiu explained softly, “Otherwise, wouldn’t you be worried of a mentally disabled person following you and also always sneakily watching you from behind?”
Hai Xiu then smiled in an embarrassed manner. “It’s actually quite scary thinking about it? A mentally disabled person liking you….”
Feng Fei raised his hand, and hit Hai Xiu’s face lightly. 4Pj5Ns
Due to the light motion, Hai Xiu thought that Feng Fei was caressing him instead.
Feng Fei lifted his chin slightly and asked, “Who did you say is mentally disabled?”

Hai Xiu was shocked, his eyes welling up in an instant.
Feng Fei lightly hit Hai Xiu’s face again, stating in a cold tone, “Who are you cursing to be mentally disabled?” 4rSdXu
Hai Xiu desperately held his tears back as he shook his head and whispered, “Not mentally disabled….”
Feng Fei’s face did not smile for one bit, he continued, “Then what is it?”
Hai Xiu’s voice became much more muted as he replied, “It’s only a psychological illness….”
Feng Fei continued to ask in his cold tone, “Can it be treated? zYsZ2X
Hai Xiu’s eyes reddened as he nodded his head. “Can…it can be treated.”
Feng Fei spoke lightly, “Then isn’t my baby already better?”
Hai Xiu became startled. Tears started streaming down as he nodded vigorously, his voice choking, “Better… I’m already better.”
Only then did Feng Fei bring back his smile. He took a step forward, held Hai Xiu in his arms and lightly kissed the part of Hai Xiu’s cheek that had just been hit before stating, “Remember what you just said, so that in the future…no matter when, no matter who’s asking, you will answer them just as you’ve answered me. You were sick before, but you’ve already gotten better, and are in fact completely cured, and are no different from any ordinary person.” 37Ujon
Feng Fei gazed at Hai Xiu as he continued to speak in a light tone, “If anyone pretends to not understand, or pretends to be deaf, tell me. I’ll hit him until he understands.”
Hai Xiu nodded his head vigorously as his tears continued to flow. Feeling as though he was shrouded in comfort after being forgiven, his tears started to flow again. Feng Fei’s heart softened as he coaxed, “Good…Are you feeling scared? Or are you feeling hurt after being hit? Come here, come here.” Feng Fei spoke as he held out Hai Xiu’s hand towards his own cheek. While Hai Xiu struggled to move his hand away, he choked and said, “Don’t hit….”
Hai Xiu vented his anger with a laugh, “Don’t….” l XBKm
Feng Fei smiled, “Haven’t finished crying your heart out yet? Have you finally put this situation behind you?”
The rays of dusk shone through the classroom windows, a peerlessly warm halo wrapped around Feng Fei. In his trance, Hai Xiu felt as though he saw an angel.
Hai Xiu took a deep breath, vehemently nodding his head in response.
