Warning Air Raid
In the morning, I wake up on time.
I’ve had a good night’s sleep, but I’m aware of a slight lingering lethargy in my body…. I know why.
Then I think I’ll give the human part a rest and meditate. I don’t need to turn off my consciousness. It would be enough to rest just the outside.
It is quite difficult to meditate and just lie down.
I can’t stop thinking about all the things I’ve done.
It has been three months since we received Lindia-san aka Suzuka Ashigara at the shelter.
That’s what I meant when I said it so casually. My heart was weak.
In summary, there are two things that have changed. A good story and a bad story.
I don’t want to wake up and be the most stressed out person in the world. Let’s start with the good news.
The good news is that my loneliness has been lifted.
When she clutched at my leg, I wondered what I was going to do, but now I’m wondering if it was for the best.
I’m sorry I was so tough about wanting to be alone.
I can live with myself as long as there is no overly assertive interference.
I don’t like people who simply tell others what to do based on their own selfish beliefs, like how we should be, you know? It reminds me of my old boss.
“Hmm, good morning. Toki.”
She woke up a little later and I greeted her back.
Good morning. Suzuka.
We got to know each other, and now we call each other by name.
She woke up too, but she doesn’t plan to wake up yet. She held the human body back like a pillow and meditated once more.
I look back on last night, enjoying the feeling of soft skin pressed against soft skin. The close round, with repeated double KOs, lasted until round 12.
…..What are we, monkeys? Human-monkey beings get tired, too.
Well, Suzuka was totally in my strike zone, and now I’m quite good-looking, if I do say so myself. Created beautiful, you say? Thanks to the manufacturer for this.
When you’re human?….. I forgot. I don’t want to remember.
A woman who has been rescued from a tight spot and picked up by a man is under the same roof, albeit a rather large one. That’s how it is, right~.
We are both too mature for each other, but a functioning body makes a young mind. When the body functions, the mind rejuvenates, and even the old man wants to get it out. In addition, the body is now inexhaustible. Strictly speaking, it’s limited, but it’s nothing compared to humans.
I tried to be strong, but I couldn’t beat Suzuka.
There is a difference in specifications between a body that has such a function and a body that is made for such a purpose.
Oh, let’s have soft-shelled turtle for dinner today. If it eats you, eat it back. Double payback! I wonder which is better, hot pot or fried?
◇◆◇◆◇
We ate breakfast in the cafeteria.
If you don’t move at least when you eat, you’ll spend the whole day in the room.
Perhaps it was her maidroid instincts kicking in, but at first Suzuka insisted on bringing the meal to me, but I made it a rule to have my meals in the cafeteria.
“Sin, did you notice anything unusual last night?”
[We’ve confirmed an attack in the area from the south side of the defensive wall. We’ve got zero damage, and we’ve replenished our supplies. Would you like to see the footage?]
“Not this again….. Please.”
This is the bad story I eventually escaped in bed in the morning.
After all, the military expedition that has been going on since then has changed its purpose to bring down this place and is still going on today.
A monitor in the cafeteria shows a group of knightly figures in armor and a defense device to intercept them.
We are trying to be as calm as possible, but the other side is doing something terrible. They lined up and started shooting fire-arrows at us. What are you guys, arsonists?
We intercepted their arrows with our heat ray guns, destroyed their bows, shattered their castle hammers before they could use them, and carefully snapped the swords of the soldiers who had drawn them, along with their spirits.
The fact that they went this far and then came back for the next one makes me wonder if these guys are masochists.
Of course, I made an appeal of innocence.
I carried a large sheet monitor that I had rolled up in the warehouse near the barrier and hung it up to show the moment when Lindia-san’s head was cracked open by Bate.
“Do not be fooled by the magic of the enemy!” Under the statement of a knight-like figure who seemed to be the captain, I was ignored.
Magic: …… Come to think of it, the guys Magami and the others fought…” What kind of magical beast is that! ?”  they were saying that.
This is not the time to be pretending that too much advanced science is something that looks like magic.
If they don’t believe me, It’s useless.
If I were in the opposite position, I might not believe it either. You can edit video as much as you want.
So the remaining card to try to appease them peacefully is Lindia-san, but I’m not going to let her leave now.
Even though I’ve got a lot of feelings for her, I can’t just send her home without her remembering anything. “What have you done with Lady Lindia! ?” That’s what they’ll say.
The guy who showed them the video of her head being cracked open is coming back alive… What’s that?
The cost of risking Suzuka’s life is small, or rather, the return is not possible.
“Toki….”
As I was thinking about this while watching the video, Suzuka looked at me.
That must be unsettling. ……
At their level of civilization, this is not a surprise, but we don’t know what the future holds.
In general, what kind of man doesn’t do what he can in front of a woman like this?
“It’s okay, Suzuka.”
I am out-and-out of peaceful moves, but I have moves that are not peaceful.
It’s not our fault in the first place, and we have no obligation to shut up and let them attack us.
I mean, I put up with them for three months, didn’t I? I’m a good person.
So, it’s time to change hands. To be honest, I’m getting a little depressed.
“Sin, is Doran ready?”
[Maintenance complete. Commencing recheck….. all clear. Master, you may fly at any time.]
I’ve got soldiers following Torrie, and I already know where their city is. I’ve already got a picture of the city.
Despite the fact that people call what we do magic, they cheekily put a meteorological observation tower in the center of the city and covered the entire circumference of the city with stone walls. I guess it’s easier to say it’s a castle city. It’s not a castle, though.
The weather observation tower ” Amashirasu” is a reference to the Japanese Goddess Amaterasu, who reports the weather. No comment on the naming sense.
This is an easy to install and dismantle meteorological observation device developed in the 2080s to avoid relying on satellites, which can be interfered with by other countries at any time and cost a fortune to operate. It is also very useful for tornado forecasting.
We had also built a tower to take the device, which was as big as a house, up to the top according to the instruction manual.
Although I said it could be disassembled, I’m sure it took some effort to carry it up in these days without cars or cranes.
It’s a lot of work to build a stone tower in the first place.
It must have been difficult. So I’m very sorry.
I looked down at the same cityscape as the image that Torrie had sent me and lowered my altitude. I flew all the way here in my optical camouflage stealth Doran to show them where I was coming from.
In front of me is the “Amashirasu” that we talked about earlier.
The residents of the city, who had been looking up at us with their eyes and mouths open, scattered and there was no one near the tower. There was no human-like heat source on the thermal image, so we should be okay.
My guess is that no one here can handle “Amashirasu” now that Lindia-san is gone. And science is magic to these people.
There is no point in doing this now, because it is already a treasure trove with no one to use it.
It’s meaningless, but it’s a spiritual cruelty to have a symbol of the city destroyed.
“You know where I come from, don’t you? I went to a lot of trouble to wait for the watchman to return. This is an ultimatum. We’ll avoid any human casualties until today.”
I announced one-sidedly at the maximum volume of the aircraft’s speakers, which had been on full display, and set my sights on it.
Electromagnetic accelerator guns stand by… fire!
The shells fired with the sound of the explosion penetrated the tower and smashed through the air into the distance.
The tower begins to crack and collapse through the hole it has made.
In order to prevent damage to the other buildings, I used a series of heat ray vulcan and heat ray cannon to completely crush the “Amashirasu” as well as the rubble.
However, it is impossible to get rid of all the debris, so we’ll just have to accept some damage.
The microphone is on again.
“Next time, it won’t be just the building.”
The job is now done. I hope they will be quiet tomorrow.
