Shao Yanxi decided to head back first after a short while in the resting room.
Due to all the repeated takes of the day, Liu Yu’an could only get off work at almost 11 that night.
When he’s back at the hotel, Shao Yanxi has already finished dealing with all the documents. Now he’s on a phone call, seemingly about work.
Liu Yu’an nods in greeting when he sees him, before entering the bathroom and showering. When he’s done Shao Yanxi is also done. He’s dressed in a couples’ pyjama with him.
Shao Yanxi says, “I have to go back tomorrow,” Liu Yu’an looks over while continuing to dry his hair with a towel, as Shao Yanxi continues, “and then head to Europe for business for up to a week.”
“Someone else can’t go for you?”
“No.”
The work he wants to follow up on is about new research in psychiatric medicine. Although he knows next to nothing medically, but he needs to be there to feel safe.
Liu Yu’an takes a seat next to him, and says, “I see. My parts are concentrated over the next few days too, so I won’t be able to spend much time with you either.”
As he has to attend the next season of Celebs’ Wilderness Survival, the director moved his parts around and so he’ll be a lot busier.
Shao Yanxi also knows that tomorrow Liu Yu’an will have to start working at 10:30.
After some hesitation, he hugs Liu Yu’an proactively and kisses his Adam’s apple, saying with a slightly odd tone, “let’s do it tonight!”
Liu Yu’an would, obviously, not reject that idea.
Before, because of this and that, they never had a home run, but to suddenly go all the way in a hotel elsewhere, huh.
Liu Yu’an prepared him for quite a while, and he only did it all the way once. Shao Yanxi fortunately did not suffer any injuries.
However, due to the rather generous size of that digit of Liu Yu’an’s, when Shao Yanxi woke up the next day he kept feeling like there’s something still inside. It is making his gait weird, but, someone as prideful as him keeps forcing himself to work normally.
Of course, Liu Yu’an is familiar enough with how he walks to see how he must be feeling. He obviously can’t just let him bumble around uncomfortably. He walks over and princess-carries him.
Shao Yanxi is suddenly lifted up from his suitcase-packing session and is quite surprised. He steadies himself holding onto Liu Yu’an’s neck and sounds displeased, “what are you doing?!”
“Let me see it.”
He says, putting him onto the bed, and about to pull his pants down.
To Liu Yu’an, since the two of them have done it all the way, then Shao Yanxi is now his partner for life. There’s nothing to be shy about.
Unlike Shao Yanxi who’s really sensitive about these things. He sees what Liu Yu’an is doing and, thinking what Liu Yu’an was doing last night, how he’s already genuinely crying but Liu Yu’an still wouldn’t let him go, he holds his pants tightly, and says, fully on alert, “I’m fine.”
Even if he also enjoyed it, he has had enough for now.
Liu Yu’an also knows how much of a brute he was yesterday. Even if he already rubbed cream on him after the fact, but it is still worrying how Shao Yanxi is right now.
He employs all his speech tactics to finally get Shao Yanxi to turn around for him, though still unwilling, largely.
Liu Yu’an checks thoroughly and determines there’s not much of a problem, but just in case, he puts some more cream on him, during which he can feel his own desire rising… Unfortunately for him, he’ll have to beat this one down himself later.
Before he does that, he asks Shao Yanxi and gets him to agree to tell the assistant to rebook the flight to later.
The assistant thought they’d already done it countless times and didn’t even entertain the idea of this change of schedule being due to that . Then, Liu Yu’an also contacts the director. As he knows Shao Yanxi is there, he readily agrees, even asking if Liu Yu’an wants additional time for resting.
Liu Yu’an “…”
With a resigned tone, he tells him, “no need.”
“Right. I’ll move Zhang Jiahe and Hou Yueting’s parts forward for now.”
After hanging up, Liu Yu’an sees Shao Yanxi knitting his brows, “you’re not working?”
“I’ll spend some time with you.”
It makes Shao Yanxi a bit happy to hear that, but, thinking about how Liu Yu’an was the one to cause all this, he’s not exactly that happy, but still, overall he still feels warm and fuzzy inside.
Though still, seeing the visibly energetic state of Liu Yu’an’s lower part, he’s hesitant before discreetly asking, “how are you feeling?”
“Hm?” Liu Yu’an raises his brow in return, “you feel like helping me?”
Shao Yanxi goes beet-red and glares at him before moving his glare downwards. Liu Yu’an chuckles and holds Shao Yanxi’s hand, “with your hand? Please?”
Maybe it’s because they’ve finally done it, but Liu Yu’an realises that Shao Yanxi seems to cling to him more than before; he was clingy already, and now it’s right in overdrive.
Though thinking about what Shao Yanxi did to Liu Yu’an in the original novel’s timeline, it’s not exactly unexpected.
Clinginess is also a form of possessiveness, but because he has been cooperative, so it doesn’t escalate beyond that. Shao Yanxi in the book only went as far as locking him up because the Liu Yu’an in the book wouldn’t let him cling to him.
In essence, it’s still Shao Yanxi wanting to spend time with him. Liu Yu’an thinks that if he treats Shao Yanxi like how the original ‘Liu Yu’an’ did, Shao Yanxi would still do all that all over again, even if right now he is quite obedient, subservient and spoiling him so much.
Still, just a reminder that Shao Yanxi isn’t a goody-two-shoes. He was an antagonist, after all.
When he has a chat with Zhao Xian later, he would find out that the media company that took the photo of him and Shao Yanxi on the lake, from the main editor down to every single journalist have all been fired.
Though it’s probably not a very good idea for a celebrity to be on bad terms with the media, he isn’t particularly sympathetic. One, he doesn’t really care for that here, and two, this response from Shao Yanxi is already mild enough.
If we make an educated guess from his depiction in the book, Shao Yanxi would not only have bankrupt that media company, but even demolish the capital behind them, in an antagonistic way.
Anyway, after all the pleasant time together, Shao Yanxi took off for Europe the next day. He was actually fine in the afternoon already, but since the flight was rebooked for the next day and he didn’t want to separate from Liu Yu’an either, he only left the next day.
Of course, without wasting his time either. He was on a video conference most of the time.
Liu Yu’an, meanwhile, had a much more relaxed day. He only had phone calls from people like his mother, and he also called his father and older brother after that.
When Shao Yanxi is off to Europe, Liu Yu’an is also back to work, though, for some reason, everyone is looking at him with odd gazes, again, but more discreet this time.
In fact, they seem to be stealing glances at his… butt?
Liu Yu’an is baffled until the poker-face Xiao-Zhang says awkwardly, “they may be convinced that Mr. Shao has slept you.”
Liu Yu’an “…”
No wonder the gazes are mostly from the female staffers.
Having been to so many worlds, he not only knows all about fujoshi culture, but he’s interacted with them as well.
Now that he knows, he’s finally able to decipher the one particularly uncomfortable gaze as ‘motherly affection.’
It almost makes Liu Yu’an too conscientious to continue acting properly. Thankfully he is able to hold his face back from twitching, and thankfully, this scene is just the Emperor of the Yaoguai being distracted with his beauty in a mirror. He doesn’t need to put up a dramatic expression.
As for them confusing their CP, Liu Yu’an doesn’t really mind. Rather, he thinks Shao Yanxi might be happy to know they are thinking this way, even, for he is so very prideful.
Therefore, he tells Shao Yanxi this on WeChat while he’s free. Though, Shao Yanxi is on his plane right now. He’ll probably have a reply late.
