Chapter 21

Bai YueSheng: “….”\n
What should he do? Although as an experienced transmigrator, Bai YueSheng had had countless romances and his ex-boyfriends weren’t few, however every single time he had been loyal for that entire lifetime. Even if his feelings weren’t real, each time he had treated the person who shared his pillow well!

But now he suddenly realized that he hadn’t treated Neil Maine well at all.

The evidence was clear. The black dragon’s feelings for him was very deep. The so-called white lotus was completely made up. Although he couldn’t figure out when he had fallen in love, but from analyzing the memories of the little flower sprite he could conclude that Neil Maine loved him miserably, so much so that he had lost all reason, to the point of blindness and the total disregard of everything else.

The most damning thing was, this black dragon’s emotions were hidden very deep. He seemed to have realized that Bai YueSheng could only give away his body and not his heart, so he deliberately hid his feelings of love, afraid that if it was exposed then Bai YueSheng would turn tail and run away, then they couldn’t even be f* buddies anymore.

He had hidden these emotions so deep, suppressed them for more than a hundred years….

Bai YueSheng thought from his perspective and felt that this black dragon had already entered an advanced stage of mental disease… what did that mean? It meant simply that he was extremely dangerous!

Bai YueSheng really didn’t know what he ought to say.

If he said he knew then that meant he understood Neil Maine’s feelings, realized that he had loved him for so many years, realized that he had even abandoned the quest for revenge that he wanted so much… But even if he knew all this, there was no way to return his feelings. The black dragon was already not the same as the one from before, if he now blackened, then how would Bai YueSheng be able to deal with it?

One Qiu ChangFeng had already made his head split with pain, if there was now a blackened dragon… then would those twenty years of being imprisoned become a “peaceful life” by comparison?

Then should he say he didn’t know? However Bai YueSheng had a strange feeling that the whole time his acting was completely transparent to Neil Maine. Otherwise how could he have tested him so many times but every single time Neil was able to come through undetected? He obviously loved him to death but he was able to convince Bai YueSheng for a hundred years that he was “two penis” playboy that never gave away his heart…

This was too scary!

You should know that in the nine worlds Bai YueSheng had travelled to, nobody had been able to hide something from him for this long.

What should he do?

Suddenly at that moment, something he didn’t know whether to classify as good or bad happened.

From outside there was the piercing cry of cicadas.

This was the warning sound of an enemy attack!

Bai YueSheng got up and walked down the steps asking, “What happened?” The change of subject was very natural.

Neil Maine frowned at him, however his attention was also distracted by the alarm sounds from outside.

Right now the nine races of the Sienn continent had been unified. Although the relationships between the clans still needed some work, but there shouldn’t be any large scale conflicts.

Especially in the new elven territory. Because of Bai YueSheng’s presence, Neil had placed many secret strong guards, powerful magicians, as well as many complex traps designed by the dwarven engineers.

Don’t even talk about a person breaking in, even a small insect wouldn’t be able to get through.

But right now the alarm was sounding.

Neil Maine and Bai YueSheng exited the main palace together. Outside it was still very bright, the Tree of Life was brilliantly colored, the golden light shining down.

The scene was very still beautiful but the air had changed, and there was a killing aura present.

The killing aura belonged to the man who was standing beside him. Bai YueSheng looked at him sideways, seeing Neil’s side profile.

Golden eyed and golden haired. Everything was very bright. However the air around Neil’s body contained deep chilling feeling, clearly he was very angry.

The new Elven territory. He had kept the peace for nearly three hundred years. But on the very first day of Bai YueSheng’s return there was someone trying to break in, how could he not get angry?

Neil Maine’s narrowed his eyes. He said darkly, “What happened?”

The guard was a from the winged race. He folded back his wings and half knelt, head bowed. “It seems to be a human. But his clothing is very unique and the magic he used is very strange.”

Bai YueSheng was not suspicious yet. After all Student Jiu told him he had three days. This wasn’t even half a day, so it couldn’t be one of his old lovers.

Neil Maine frowned. “A human?”

Bai YueSheng was also pretty curious. He also asked, “These hundred years, someone so powerful has appeared among the human race?”

Actually the human race in this world was decent. They weren’t as adept at magic usage as the elves, weren’t as overwhelmingly strong as the giants, nor were their five senses as attuned as the beast race. Even in terms technological development, they fell behind the dwarves.

However humans were a jack-of-all-trades. They didn’t have wings, but they developed flying machines. They were able to use magic, and at the same they could also learn fighting techniques. Although their bodies weren’t immensely strong they possessed strong mental willpower. A unified and faithful group of humans could demonstrate a violent power beyond imagination.

The power of humans lay in their unity. In thousands of years there had never appeared a human who fought on their own because they had short lives unlike the dragon and elves.

So after hearing this solo person trying to break into the new elven land was a human, both Neil and Bai YueSheng were shocked.

Just then another report arrived. “Your Majesty! That human seems to have a summoning power. His companion beast is very powerful! It’s ten metres tall and steel-type. It opened its mouth and completely swallowed the dwarven traps, destroying it utterly!”

Wait… these words sounded sounded strangely familiar to Bai YueSheng.

“Ah Jiu?”

Ah Jiu: “….”

Bai YueSheng: “….”

After the two brothers stared at each other wordlessly for several moments, Bai YueSheng exploded. “WTF?! Didn’t you say three days? What. The. Hell. Is. This?????”

Ah Jiu paused for a second then said, “… Your husband is very capable.”

Bai YueSheng: “I’m f**ing going to kill you! Bai Ah Jiu!”

Ah Jiu had some feelings of guilt and he really didn’t want to see the scene after Jeremy arrived. This kind of ex husband and ex fiancee’s conflict was too awkward, so he chose to…

Ding… this is the system’s automated response. The system says: I’m sorry ah big brother. Add oil big brother. You can do it big brother.

Bai YueSheng: “….”

With this kind of friend who needed enemies? But Bai YueSheng didn’t have time to deal with Ah Jiu, the most important thing now was getting through this storm!

Jeremy’s battle prowess was unnatural, especially because this world had no restrictions. After releasing Taotie, don’t talk about destroying this new elven territory, probably even the flattening of half of the Sienn continent wasn’t beyond belief.

Even if Sienn was destroyed it wouldn’t affect Bai YueSheng’s mission. However he had lived in this place for a long time and he had some attachment to it. If the destruction of this world was because of him, it would break his heart.

Furthermore even if the Sienn continent was destroyed, Jeremy and Neil Maine were at best tied. If neither of them could kill each other then they would continue fighting. They might even change the location, for example back to mother earth…

Thinking of this scene Bai YueSheng’s head hurt, his liver hurt, his lungs hurt, all his internal organs were painful!

There must be a way!

After thinking furiously for three seconds, Bai YueSheng finally selected a plan. As long as he could leave the Sienn continent, as long as Jeremy couldn’t find him, then peace would return to this world!

But in order to leave then had to satisfy Neil Maine…

He could only gamble on it!

Bai YueSheng raised his head and looked at the gold dragon, “Neil, I already know everything.”

At this time, at this key junction, he suddenly resumed this topic that he had moved past with difficulty.

Neil Maine was obviously startled.

Bai YueSheng didn’t given him a chance to speak. He swiftly said, “I saw LuoLuo’s memories, I know it was you who saved me. I know it was because of me that you made war with the vampire clan. Because of me you were threatened by the dwarves…”

He continued to speak, laying bare all those things from yesteryear.

Neil Maine didn’t move. He stared unblinkingly at him.

Bai YueSheng continued, “I didn’t know you did so many things for me. I didn’t know that you liked me this much. That time when I brought LuoLuo to see you, the words I spoke were because I didn’t know the truth… I…”

As he spoke his voice became choked. “Neil, I’m sorry, I’m really sorry, it’s all my fault….”

Neil finally opened his mouth. The sound of his voice floated lightly. “Are you only sorry?”

At this time, a loud sound erupted from behind them. Although Bai YueSheng had his back to it, but he could feel the presence of Taotie.

It was over! There wasn’t enough time. Jeremy was coming… so why wouldn’t Neil Maine believe him?

Bai YueSheng didn’t have time to consider this question. He didn’t have any more escape routes, he could only move forward blindly. “No! Neil, previously I was too horrible. But can you please give me a chance, give me a chance to like you seriously?”

Peng peng peng! Bai YueSheng thought his heart would beat out of his chest.

Because he had seen Taotie, he had seen the man that he had exchanged rings with, the man with whom he had received the universe’s blessings.

Jeremy had come.
