Given the ages that had passed and the fact that afterwards Bai YueSheng had travelled through a few worlds which involved a long span of time, there was a real possibility that his memory could have been confused or mistaken.\nHowever regarding the issue of the white lotus, Bai YueSheng shouldn’t be mistaken.

Everything was very harmonious.

After gaining understanding of each other, the two people became more and more familiar. In the past they would only meet occasionally if there was something to discuss. After resolving formal matters then they would roll onto the bed to resolve some needs of the body. However slowly – Bai YueSheng wasn’t sure if it was his misconception – he felt like the two people’s discussion of formal matters became more, and so the lovemaking also became more and more frequent.

There came a month that Neil Maine actually lived at the new elven territory so Ah Jiu said, “This lusty dragon… is it “time breeds emotions”?”

Bai YueSheng raised his guard: “It can’t be?”

After a few more days passed, Neil suddenly came back. Although he looked as resplendent as ever, if you looked closely some traces of sorrow and loss can be detected.

Bai YueSheng asked him, “Did something happen?” After all they were intimate partners, wanting to help each other is natural.

Neil Maine looked at him for a while. After a moment passed he said, “It’s nothing.”

But the problem is that in the giant’s territory there was a black crystal mine. Neil Maine didn’t answer his question but abruptly changed the subject to another question. “What if I have nothing…?”

Bai YueSheng was stunned.

He smiled softly. Hie eyes and mouth curved to express deep affection and his voice carried a bone-deep tenderness. “Neil, the two of us…”

Neil Maine frowned and stared fixedly at him.

Bai YueSheng’s expression was ambiguous and a flush rose onto his features that was so charming it would make people addicted. He said, “Shall we become lovers?”

Time seemed to stop at that moment. Everything around them blurred into a dark forest. There was no sound of bird cries and no sunlight. The only thing that was left was the sound of two people’s heartbeats in the darkness.

It wasn’t falling in love, but a contest of wills.

Bai YueSheng observed Neil and Neil observed him.

After some time had passed, Neil finally spoke. His voice was hoarse like the sound of a stringed instrument being plucked. “I’m sorry… I already have someone that I like.”

Bai YueSheng: “….”

Neil’s eyes didn’t leave his face. He stared unblinkingly, as though he wanted to see past that perfect countenance and see into his heart. Yes… that heart which had been the beating calmly the whole time without any turbulence.

But on the surface Bai YueSheng’s facial expressions was perfect. He went from shocked to awkward to sorrowful… the emotions were perfectly and appropriately expressed.

But from his own heart Neil Maine could hear from his own chest a hollow and lonely echoing. He lowered his eyes and said, “He is from the winged race and already has a partner and a child. This time I left to go and help him take care of some things.”

Bai YueSheng was relieved. It was right not believe Ah Jiu this ten thousand year old virgin.

Falling in love because of doing it? This kind of thing doesn’t apply to an experienced driver.

However Bai YueSheng was still pretty surprised. He didn’t expect this black dragon to have a romantic side. But still maybe he shouldn’t be surprised because dragons was a race with mental problems; they were either philanders as large as the heavens or they were romantics to death. And because dragons were the type that wouldn’t change their minds easily, Bai YueSheng felt very safe with Neil Maine.

He would never find such a satisfactory f* buddy anywhere else. In the next seven or eight hundred years Neil Maine probably would not be able to forget about this “white lotus”, and in that time Bai YueSheng probably should have already found the golden dragon and successfully ended the mission.

Everything was perfect and it had been perfect for a few hundred years. How come when he came back to Sienn, everything changed like this?

Alisson hadn’t finished speaking because after he said the words “bride price”, there was a chorus of respectful greetings sounding from outside.

The palace doors were opened and the elves in the room immediately knelt down and began paying their respects to the golden eyed and golden haired man that walked in.

Neil Maine.

Bai YueSheng slightly raised his head and saw him through the rays of light cast by the Tree of Life.

He wore a luxurious long robe and his long blonde hair flowed down loosely about his shoulders. Even in the light the brightness of his golden eyes were clearly distinguishable, because it shone even more than the light from outside. His whole body seemed to give off glorious light, making it difficult for other people to breathe.

After recovering his original body, he became even more handsome and God-like.

Bai YueSheng hadn’t seen him with golden hair very often. But he couldn’t deny that it was too mesmerizing.

The face doesn’t even matter. His body naturally wants to move towards the light as though participating in photosynthesis.

Neil Maine smiled at him. “Welcome back.”

Luckily he didn’t need to speak. A fat round camellia came hurtling towards him, the thick leaves embraced him. After rubbing vigorously for several moments it began to cry. “Ah Sheng, you finally come back. LuoLuo missed you so much, so much, so much ah…!” Afterwards it began to cry loudly like a child that had lost its mother.

Bai YueSheng hurried to comfort it. After saying a bunch of nice things, his throat felt dry but at last he was able to calm LuoLuo down.

LuoLuo cried so much it fell asleep from exhaustion. Holding it, Bai YueSheng felt quite tired.

This fellow really missed him? Missed him so much it gained seven or eight pounds?

Neil Maine took the fat flower sprite from his arms, the movement was very practiced.

Bai YueSheng blinked. “These years LuoLuo has been well cared for by you.”

Neil’s hands paused for a moment. Expressionlessly he passed LuoLuo to the guards behind him. He turned around to look back at Bai YueSheng and opened his mouth. “How many years do you think is “these years”?”

Bai YueSheng, “…” This… he really didn’t know the answer.

Neil stared at him and said softly, “Three hundred and sixty-six years, three months and ten days.”

Bai YueSheng’s eyes went wide.

Neil didn’t give him a chance to reply. He leaned in close, almost covering his entire body. Then a kiss landed on his lips. It was so hot he felt it sear into his bones

Bai YueSheng said silently in his heart, “It looks as though Neil has fallen in love with me…”

Ah Jiu: “Hehe.”

Bai YueSheng: “You might not want to see what happens after, are you sure you don’t want to shut off?”

Ah Jiu rolled his eyes: “I have two pieces of news. One good, one bad. Which one do you want to hear first?”

Bai YueSheng had a bad premonition: “Good one first.”

Ah Jiu: “You can try to confess your love to Neil Maine, maybe that will bring you back to Earth.”

Bai YueSheng: “…isn’t this playing a trick on me??”

Ah Jiu didn’t pay attention to him and went straight to the bad news. “There is a disturbance in the time-space barrier. How do you feel about your ex-husband or ex-boyfriend coming to Sienn for a daytrip?”
