An Indecent Man (1)

“Have you found him yet?” Jiang Fangcheng asked. He was starting to sound impatient.

He’s really been wanting to meet Bai Qi and had been holding back for many days.

Mu Dong was a little spaced out, then he replied, “I saw him… I think? Nope, that’s not it. I must be mistaken.”

Jiang Fangcheng took a step forward and also found a spot for himself next to the window. He could tell that there was definitely something wrong based on Mu Dong’s explanation.

“Just what did you see?”

Mu Dong didn’t think much about it as he said, “I think Bai Qi is on a date with a man!”

After those words came out of his mouth, he felt that his remark was careless. Same-sex relationships are still not the norm. Would saying something like that affect Bai Qi’s reputation?

Mu Dong opened his mouth and was about to correct himself by saying “I’m mistaken”.

Before he could do so, Jiang Fangcheng was already livid. Jiang Fangcheng grabbed onto his shoulders and said, “What did you just say? Nonsense!”

No way in hell is that true!

Jiang Fangcheng’s sudden outburst of anger stunned Mu Dong for a second. Then, he found his voice and said, “Jiang Fangcheng, why on earth are you so angry?”

Jiang Fangcheng’s heart stopped and he quickly suppressed his anger. He tried his best to gather his wits and retain a calm face. “Mu Dong, don’t spout nonsense.”

Mu Dong still couldn’t get it, what was with Jiang Fangcheng’s overly huge reaction?

He couldn’t stand that Jiang Fangcheng took his anger out on him. After all, Jiang Fangcheng was only close to Bai Qi. His relationship with the rest of them was merely ordinary.

Mu Dong crooked his eyebrow and said, “You think I’ve got nothing better to do and I’m here to talk nonsense? Take a look for yourself then. Well, it doesn’t matter if that person actually looks like Bai Qi. Don’t you f*cking dare talk shit after you leave this room. Don’t tarnish our Qi Qi’s reputation.”

Jiang Fangcheng couldn’t take it anymore when he heard ‘our Qi Qi’.

He rested both his hands on the window frame, leaning forward as he stretched his neck to look outside ——

It’d been a while since he had seen Bai Qi. He glanced around for a bit and then his focus stopped at the boy in the grove.

Since it was so far away, he only got a view of the back of the figure.

The tall figure who was clothed in a milky-white down jacket was straddling a huge and tall man…

Even though he couldn’t see them clearly, at that moment, a whirring sound passed through Jiang Fangcheng’s head. He felt as if he had just experienced a case of low sugar levels.

No way, no way… there’s just no f*cking way…These few words kept going round and round in Jiang Fangcheng’s head.

Jiang Fangcheng took out his phone.

Mu Dong took a look at him and felt like the person was shaking.

The strange feeling in Mu Dong’s heart grew stronger.

He grabbed onto Jiang Fangcheng’s arm just as he saw Jiang Fangcheng dialing Bai Qi’s number. “What’re you doing? Is there something wrong with you? Even if that really is Bai Qi, it’s none of your business. Don’t bother him.”

Jiang Fangcheng couldn’t hold it in anymore. His face was greenish-ly pale as he said, “You don’t understand, you don’t understand…”

A beeping sound came from his phone, which indicated that his call was waiting to be answered. At this moment, the beeping felt seemingly endless.

One second, two seconds… forty seconds…

No one answered.

Jiang Fangcheng let out a sigh of relief.

The person in the grove didn’t seem to move in any way to answer their phone.

Perhaps… it isn’t Bai Qi.

“Your phone is ringing,” Xi Chengyun’s assistant reminded him in a low voice.

However, he felt like a dumbass after saying that. Bai Qi could always call the person back after he’d missed the call. What was he doing here, being a complete lightbulb and ruining the atmosphere?

Bai Qi got down from Xi Chengyun’s body. “I’ll be heading back now?”

Xi Chengyun didn’t ask him about the phone call. Instead, he asked, “Have you had dinner?”

Bai Qi shook his head. “I haven’t been able to yet.”

Xi Chengyun nodded and said, “Alright, then let’s go together.”

Actually, Bai Qi wasn’t really used to eating with relatively unfamiliar people.

The act of hugging Xi Chengyun was only a matter of seconds. However, during that half an hour of the meal, one should be able to eat comfortably.

Nevertheless… this is professionalism.

“Okay,” Bai Qi replied obediently.

The assistant was beyond dizzy.

Not only did Xi Chengyun purposely find time from his busy schedule to meet him, now they were going to secretly spend dinner together…

This relationship is most likely official.

Xi Chengyun and Bai Qi walked out of the grove together, side-by-side. They immediately headed to the basement car park of the university, thus escaping the view of many people.

Jiang Fangcheng looked as the two walked away. Then only did he regain a little consciousness. He forced out a smile. “Forgive me, my brain has been quite fuzzy these days. Please inform me when Bai Qi is back.”

“Sure,” Mu Dong answered unwillingly.
