This novel is slightly hard to read because of the number of the characters introduced. But it makes for a better world-building and deeper plot. I feel rereading all the chapters will be fun!

Excellent novel, very well written. It feels like the author is a writer who enjoys gaming, rather than a gamer who tried his hand at writing. Don't expect everything to be laid out at the start, bits and pieces fall into place as you progress into the story, so its a good idea to reread it. Expect multiple points of view. Great characters, unique and enjoyable. Give it a try if you're tired of the same old stories.

I... actually, I am going to be honest here. I was confused with many information written in vol 1 but later, I found out it was necessary to include them. the setting was after humans' apocalypse and people began to seek resource from everything they have. the protagonists in the story are four and they have their own reasons to play a popular game. soon, they become closer to each other and begin their quest to run the academy, left by their savior. their personality are quite unique that you might find yourself cheering for their win. there are a lot of mysterious hints flying in every chapter so I suggest either you read carefully or reread the story to enjoy this interesting story.

A work of genius

It can be a little difficult to follow sometimes, but this has a wonderful depth of character and plot.

Just from reading the first volume (although im fully caught up to the 3rd as of now) you can feel that the author has already established and prepared a very very rich environment and background and settings with rules etc... nothing s*upidly convenient being pulled out of the ass that looks out of place.. no cheap deus ex machina...

The characters themselves are very wonderful, and there are many philosophical conundrums that te author makes the reader face and think about without hurting ur brain, so ppl who dont like to think while enjoying ur fiction or games... dont fret... ur covered

the abilities and systems are well thought out too.... just watching things progress is so enjoyable, both emotional and hilarious.

I'm here not to review this novel since this one doesn't suit my taste: boring and hard to comprehend, especially for impatient reader like me who like fast pace plot.

It's just quite ironic that EC was my known to me since I like to read fanfic, which mean that EC means Emiya Clan.

Those that know Fate Stay Night must know about surname Emiya.

EC (Emiya Clan) was born quite famous among fanfic enthusiast following Fanfic Crossover 'Fate Stay Night x Sekirei', with title: In Flight, wrote by Gabriel Blessing, in which Emiya Shirou impregnate many Sekirai girls including FSN girls, thus born Emiya Clan.

From there appear many fanfic that based on EC's descendant as the main character.

You can find many of those works at fanfiction. Net, and honestly for me those fanfic was more interesting compared to this novel EC.
