Chapter 24.3 – Taste
After the two sat down, the waiter, who was wearing a blue cheongsam, pointed to the QR code pasted on the corner of the table and said, “Please scan the QR code to place an order.”
“Okay,” said Su Yan, who immediately clicked on WeChat and scanned the two QR codes, and at the same time said to Bai Xingfan, “You can also scan one and order whatever you want.”
Bai Xingfan was very polite. “Since it is Miss Su’s treat, of course, it is Miss Su’s decision.”
Actually, Su Yan liked this kind of food very much. When ordering food, she liked to be in control, so she just smiled and replied with a domineering tone, “Hey, if this is the case, then I will not be polite.”

Su Yan ordered four dishes. Mao Xue Wang, stir-fried fat intestines, spicy chicken, and shredded cabbage.

She liked spicy food, but she had chosen slightly spicy flavours for every dish because she still remembered Bai Xingfan’s dietary preferences—he didn’t like too much sweetness, didn’t like too much spicy, and didn’t like too much oil, like an elderly person.
It was only then that she realised that inviting Bai Xingfan to eat Sichuan food was not a wise decision. So before placing the order, she hesitated again, looked at Bai Xingfan with a little guilt, and asked timidly, “How about we change the restaurant?”
Bai Xingfan: “What’s the matter? The dishes don’t suit your taste?”
Su Yan said honestly, “I don’t think it suits your taste.”
Bai Xingfan frowned. “It’s rare that Miss Su still remembers my taste!”
She was annoyed. “I should order you a whole spicy feast, every dish has a thick layer of red oil, so that you can see an anorectal doctor after eating!”

Su Yan had seen this kind of waiver activity a lot, but she was really waived every time, so she didn’t have any hope this time. The facts proved that it was right to give up hope. When there was still a little sand left in the hourglass, the food came to their table.
While eating, Su Yan noticed that Bai Xingfan only picked up spicy chicken and shredded cabbage. He didn’t even move the stir-fried fat intestines, and he didn’t even pick up the green pepper.
“You don’t eat fatty intestines?” She had never eaten fatty intestines at Bai Xingfan’s mansion, so she didn’t know if Bai Xingfan would accept it.
Bai Xingfan: “Yeah.”

Su Yan was so surprised and looked around for Bai Xingfan in the store, but she couldn’t find him, so she went to the waitress who was in charge of serving their table. “Hello, did you see the other guest who was eating with me?”
Because of Bai Xingfan’s outstanding appearance and temperament, the waitress was very impressed with him, but when she heard Su Yan’s question, she showed embarrassment. “That gentleman just tried to eat a piece of fat sausage.”
Su Yan was full of doubts and hurriedly asked, “And then?”
The waitress said, “Then, then… he ran to the bathroom with his mouth covered.”
