Chapter 22.1 - Male idol lives next door
When Tang Xiao woke up, Mu Cheng’s house was very lively.
Chief Ning and Xiao Lin appeared in the living room.
“You’re awake? Did you sleep well last night?” Early in the morning, Chief Ning had the expression that he’d seen through everything.

Chief Ning gestured for Xiao Lin to take out the keys as she fished out a set and pa.s.sed it to her.
Tang Xiao’s eyelid was twitching.
“I don’t know them.”
“You definitely know them. Even if you don’t know them, you’ve seen them on TV before.”
Tang Xiao: 


“Leave one here at my place too.” Mu Cheng carried out a plate of steamed dumplings.
Tang Xiao took a key off the keychain and pa.s.sed it to him.
Mu Cheng then clipped it onto his own set of keys.
Chief Ning raised a brow, his expression turning bad.
“Don’t be like this next time. It’s not good for a single man and woman to be alone.”
“Chief Ning, don’t worry 
”
Chief Ning pinched his forehead.
“I think you’re misunderstanding me. I’m not worried about Tang Xiao, I’m worried for you.”
Tang Xiao:

Chief Ning went straight into the topic, pa.s.sing the script to Mu Cheng along the way.

Mu Cheng didn’t even bother flipping through the script book.
“You know how Su Bai feels towards you. Sometimes, fans are happy to see a fake romance become a real one.”
Mu Cheng wasn’t taken by surprise by what he said. “I know more or less about how other people feel about me.”
When he said that, Tang Xiao nearly choked on her dumpling.
She sneakily lifted up her head to take a peek at Mu Cheng.

She started to choke and cough harder.
On the other side, Chief Ning’s expression was stifled, telling himself not to explode.

. Do I and Xiao Lin need to leave for a moment so that you guys can resolve your personal feuds and grudges?”
Tang Xiao was in between Chief Ning and Mu Cheng, she felt like she was about to get ripped into pieces.
“First, finish eating your dumplings.” Chief Ning’s face gentled.

Chief Ning still seemed a bit worried so he dragged Tang xiao back to her house, and on the way, chattered incessantly too.

Tang Xiao went on her games again, searching throughout the whole game for Yellow river flows.
