Episode 1 – The beginning of a Journey

I open my eyes and embrace the morning. Right now I’ve been in this world for 2 weeks.

Yuela rolled over turning her body sideway to my direction, I can see her lovely face.

Her white sleepwear made of cotton was opened, and the rich breast inside seems like it were about to fall.

I met Yuela two weeks ago, and I’ve been in her goodwill since our first meeting. So I confessed to Yuela and we’re going out now.

“Mmm…”

I turned my body towards Yuela and embrace her with my right arm, her body is soft and warm.

I slowly close my eyes as the heat of two people mix and melt into one

I decided to enjoy the comfortable morning sun a little bit more. After Yuela get up, it will finally start. The beginning of me and Yuela journey to the [Country of Freedom] to solve the [Curse of the Goddess of Darkness]

As I passed the short tunnel behind the gate, I asked Yuela

“Oh, that’s because this is the [City of Commerce], Traveler are free to pass so we won’t be stopped by Guards”

It seems different from the medieval knowledge I have, So the city is like this huh, it seems a village with less population was more troublesome

When I was summoned to this world, I met a person. He was a very kind man and taught me various things about this world. Well he isn’t simply kind person though.

I remembered the thing taught by him

Unlike the world I was born, this world only have one continent. There are 7 representative country and few small countries in this single continent. It looks like the seven state from the ancient chinese warring era.

From my point of view, this world is a crazy one. God exist as a fact in this world, each of the 7 representative country also has a name in line with the god they believe in nationally.

The one dominating the western corner side of the continent, [Country of Law]. They believe in God of Light and value Law, Order and Justice. Even though I haven’t visited it, but just hearing story about it makes me hate it.

Beside it, a country with the largest territory in this world, [Country of Magic]. They believe in God of Knowledge. They are old fashioned, hard-headed and have useless sense of pride. I may be visiting this country with Yuela someday.

On the east side, [Country of Freedom]. They believe in God of Darkness. But unlike the country of freedom in the world I was born, the one in here is a nation that’s faithful to their desire.

North of it, there was a small country, [Country of Peace], they believe in Goddess of Love

And then in even more north, [Country of War], they believe in God of War. Way back In the south, [Country of Industry], they believe in God of Creation, and lastly in Southwest, the [Country of Commerce] that believes in God of Fortune

“Is there some countries that collect toll taxes in the gate ?”

“In the [Country of Law], there is toll tax when you move between cities.

There are also country and town where the inspection of the guards is strict”

Yuela said that last word with an annoyed expression, I wonder if she had bad memory with inspection guards.

“Freedom of movement, it really fits to be called [Country of Commerce] huh”

I guess the aim is to increase commercial activity by increasing the movements of merchants. I think I learned about this in the past since I graduated from Economy department.

“Drop this story already, let’s go”

Yuela cheeks was a little bit red, it seems she didn’t want to talk about this topic anymore.

As I walked through the street from the castle gate, I was lead to a busy market that spread out in front of me. This city might be small, but it feels like a central city in this region.

“Let’s look for adventurer guild and check the map. This is also my first time here”

“Yuela, that one, it’s a beast-man”

“Yes, that’s right”

Yuela smiles hearing my excited voice. There was also an onee-san with cat ears on her head, wearing chic shirt and skirt currently shopping for dinner. My eyes were glued to her.

“You said there are only human beings in the world you came from.”

“Yes, there are no elves, no dwarves, neither beastmen nor dragons”

This is a different world with RPG style. I will live together with Yuela in this world. When I think of such future, it feels really good. I think i can come to love this world.

Then, while sightseeing along the neighborhood, I noticed the eyes of many people.

Most of them was attracted to Yuela, but some of them also took a glimpse toward me.

I think they’re looking at me with curiosity because of the clothes I am wearing is rare to them.

Yuela said that and gazed at me briefly. The flesh in her thin cheeks are dyed red.

Yuela said shyly, and I was a bit embarrassed too. It makes me happy. While I can’t believe it, Yuela said she fell in love with me at first sight. Someone said love is like electric shock.

If the circumstances are different, I might think I’m dreaming.

“I’m going to ask the way to this city adventurer guild”

I looked back to the voice of Yuela, She stopped walking and asking the local youth for a way, she is very active.

The young man was in panic after being approached suddenly by pretty girl like Yuela. I bet he was really surprised.

“Oh, adventurer guild. You should go straight ahead, and on the first big crossroad go right”

I don’t understand the price yet, but for convenience, I assume the conversion is as follow. Copper coin = 100 yen, silver coin = 1000 yen, white gold coin = 10,000 yen, gold coin = 100,000 yen. So this map is 2,000 yen. I guess it’s acceptable.

“Sure”

Yuela nodded on my proposal, we ordered drink for two people and sit on empty table.

I let out a voice of admiration, the map was quite detailed complete with contours and signs. This world has developed magic technology, so I guess such a high precision map is normal”

Me and Yuela have a purpose, our travelling purpose is to reach the [Country of Freedom] at the end of the east. If we go east from our current position [Country of Commerce], we will reach [Country of Industry], and if we cross the border to the east again, we will reach [Country of Freedom]
