Chapter 19: Summer Vacation is a Scary Time.

Minazuki Amane(æ°Žç„Ąæœˆć‘š aka ă‚ăŸă­) Our protagonist. Ordinary black hair, cut shoulder length. Normal skin, not particularly fair with ordinary eyes. Slightly taller than Alice. And her breast are a bit bigger.
Minazuki Alice(ありす) Golden Shiny hair, blue eyes. Fair soft skin. She is pretty much really beautiful. one of the two beauties in school.
Takanashi Rinka(é«˜æąšć‡›èŠ±)Aka Rin-chan. Black hair styled in twin tails. Eyes more slanted. Gives impression of strong woman. Is a diligent student who is kind with good looks. Very good athletically.
Kiniwa Ena(砂ćș­æ±Ÿć„ˆ) Aka Ena-chan. Shoulder length chestnut colored hair.Gives off the impression of a gentle kind girl. Poor with physical activities and got big boobies.
Yanomiya Sora(ć€œäčƒćźźè’Œç©č) Aka Kuu-chan. Looks like a elementary student at first glance but she is a high school senior. Her long black hair goes down to her waist. She has large cute eyes and a really cute appearance in general. Is manly and reliable. Making her perhaps Amane’s favorite.
Yurizono Arisu-san(ç™Ÿćˆćœ’ ケăƒȘă‚č) She has long silver hair which shines brightly in the sunlight. With mysterious red eyes and a clear beautiful voice. Other one of the two beauties in school.ç™Ÿćˆćœ’ also has the kanji for Yuri as in the lesbian kind in it. Also has pretty decent size breast.
It’s Alice using the super cutesy way of her referring to herself with her own name. I don’t always translate it, but I’ll do it some times, so keep that in mind. Also I don’t always translate the “-sans” but Amane usually uses them.

I am currently sitting down at my seat. Takanashi and Kiniwa are standing in front of me, and sitting on my lap is Yanomiya. She is just swaying her head happily with her feet dangling.
It’s currently break time, so like usual the three of them come and hang out at my desk. It’s a daily thing. I’ve gotten used to it, it’s actually really fun to just talk and joke around.
“So yesterday when I took a bath a frog jumped at the window. I jumped up a screamed because of it. My mom got mad at me afterwards for me screaming.”
Takanashi is telling a story while scratching the back of her head, saying ”it was pretty embarrassing”.
I couldn’t help myself from giggling.
It’s pretty cute knowing about Takanashi’s horror story in the bath.
Takanashi looked around her.
All of the boys ears were bright red and the room was silent.
I guess they heard Takanashi’s story.
“T-that also happens to me. Although in my case it was even more frightening. My window was opened so it jumped in through the window. At least nobody was home so I didn’t scare anybody.”
Kiniwa said with a chuckle. She held her tongue out and tapped her head with her fist.
All of the boys bent towards her to hear. Their faces were even more red and their ears were burning.
I guess Kiniwa’s story about her in the bath was too stimulating for the young boys.
“I think frogs are cute. Although they can be pretty scary.”
Yanomiya raised her voice while swinging her feet.
Yanomiya is honestly pretty boyish, contrary to her cute appearance. For example, she also likes insects.
I looked around us and saw the boys and girls giving her a warm relaxed smile.
“Oh that reminds me.”
Takanashi raised her voice saying she remembered something. She put her hand in her pocket and took something out.
“This morning, Yurizono gave me something at the gate, however it was just so. . .underwhelming.”
Takanashi showed me that pamphlet Yurizono was handing out.
“I got one too. It’s extremely average, but at the same time really amusing.”
Kiniwa showed me her pamphlets as well.
“I was given around fifty of them. I was given them because I am “small and cute”. I told her I didn’t want them, but she said “Children shouldn’t hold themselves back.””
She said in an angry voice while pulling out a lot of those dull papers from her pockets.
I was troubled with just getting five, but fifty? Also being told “Children shouldn’t hold themselves back.” would really miff anybody.
“I can’t get rid of them though. It has Amane-san’s name on it.”
Takanashi muttered as Yanomiya nodded her head.
“Why throw it away though? It’s pretty cute.”
Kiniwa tilted her head, she seemed to like them.
“Well, when it’s written like an elementary student it can be cute, but this is written by a high school student, and that’s a different story. Plus she then handed them out. . .”
Takanashi wasn’t buying it.
I guess she doesn’t see why it’s amusing at all.
“Well, if Amane wrote her name, it raises its value?”
Kiniwa asked Takanashi with a smile.
“Well, if Amane did write her name on this I would be kinda sad. Her sharing an umbrella with Yurizono is kinda unpleasant.”
Takanashi muttered and Yanomiya nodded her head.
“Although it has Amane’s name on it, so it’s hard to throw away, because the boys might just pick them up and start collecting them.”
Takanashi’s call made the boys near by shake a little.
Well now that I think about it, there were no boys that went anywhere close to Yurizono. So I don’t think any got those pamphlets. However I don’t why any of them would really care about that trivial thing Yurizono wrote.
Well if Takanashi says it, maybe the boys would start collecting them.
“Regardless of if it’s a dull thing.”
After saying that Takanashi placed the paper back in her pocket.
I guess she isn’t going to throw it away.
“From the start I had no intentions of throwing them away.”
Following Takanashi, Kiniwa stuffed the paper back in her pocket.
The boys around us had lowered their shoulders in defeat.
Well if Yurizono wrote it or even Takanashi or Kiniwa. The value would increase regardless of how boring it is.
By the way, Yanomiya also stuffed all of those papers in her pockets again.
Isn’t troublesome to carry all of those? Why not just throw them out?
“Oi!”
Suddenly a loud voice echoed into the classroom from the entrance. I looked towards it to see a boy from another class out of breath.
“Alice-chan. Alice-chan threw away her boring pamphlet!”
The boy at the entranced screamed. The inside of the class room instantly got noisy.
Well, I guess Alice had no problems throwing it away.
“W-Where! Where did she throw it away!”
One of the boys in our class loudly asked with an amazed facial expression.
“I don’t know! But there was a guy who overheard Alice-chan telling Yurizono-san that she cut out her sister’s name and threw away the rest! That’s what he told me!”
The boy shouted from the entrance.
She only cut out my name. As I would expected from Alice.
However there is a possibility she didn’t throw it away at all.
She could have just said that to stir up Yurizono.
“She’s damaged Yurizono’s boring pamphlet by doing that!”
“It was cut by scissors! So the value was tampered!”
“I want the part Alice has!”
“I want Amane-san!”
“Hurry and decide! We take what we can get!”
The boys were up in a frenzy as the girls just looked at them from the side view.
They then ran out of the classroom to look for that boring thing Alice threw away.
“Boys are stupid.”
Takanashi muttered and the girls nodded in agreement.
I’m sorry, but I am also a man at heart.

The search for Alice’s garbage continued until after school, but it was never found.
It’s pretty futile. I’m pretty sure Alice never threw it away.
And even if she really did threw it away, if a boy found it wouldn’t he just keep it and hide it from everybody else. It’s probably smarter if they just gave up now.
Takanashi returned me to reality by saying a ridiculous proposal.
“Hey let’s all go to a pool during summer vacation. I also want to go to a festival and watch the fireworks.”
What.
I can understand the firework festival, but the pool is a little dangerous.
I’ve changed in front of everybody during P.E, but they are in their underwear and I can look away. However if we are going swimming I’ll see them naked when they change, not only them, there will be other people there, aka other women.
I’ll just have to politely decline.
“That sounds great.”
Whelp.
It’s the end of the school day, so Alice came to chat with us in my classroom. She already instantly gave her approval.
“I want to go see a ninja at the festival! I’ll go in my school swimsuit to the pool!”
Obvious Yurizono is with us and she is beaming with excitement.
Wanting to see a ninja and wearing a school swimsuit to the pool? That’s a pretty weird combination.
“Onee-chan is really good at cook so let’s go camping.”
“Oh that’s a good idea! I want to go camping!”
“Yeah Yeah”
“I want to catch a stag beetle.”
The four of them are just happily adding things to do.
This is getting scary. The more events there are the harder it gets to manage them all.
But I can’t think of a reason to refuse. . .

TN: hi. The title made no sense until the very end, interesting choice author. Honestly though I like the titles they give each chapter, compared to alot of other novels, these fit and at the same time don’t spoil whats about to happen, which is a huge problem with Japanese titles. Another exposition set up chapter though, at least we know the boys actually have the hots for Amane, not just the girls.
Next chapter in like 3-5 days. There are a decent amount of words and paragraphs so might be a little longer. Not too long.
