Meanwhile, Damia had a bizarre dream that night. Standing alone in the dark, she looked around and tilted her head.
âWhere is this place?â
It was dark but not particularly scary. It was because evening primroses bloomed in clusters and shined white wherever her feet touched.
As she looked down at her feet, stepping into an empty space, she realized: this was a dream.
âIs this what you call a lucid dream?â
Damia watched the soft light emanating from the evening primroses drifting off. The halo seemed to be trying to guide her towards a direction.
âI donât know where Iâm going, but it doesnât matter because itâs a dream anyway.â
With that in mind, Damia willingly followed the lights.
She couldnât tell if the time she spent walking was long or short but at the end of her path was someone waiting for her⊠⊠Unexpectedly, it was Sienna.
âHi.â
Under a white chemise that looked like her pajamas, her limbs were bare, and she greeted her with a tiny wave.
âWe met again.â
Contrary to her lofty reputation of being the most outstanding prophet in the kingdom, Sienna looked like a girl. Her clear eyes meeting Damiaâs, were a transparent lavender as if the hazy curtain was removed.
She could tell her eyes which in reality were originally blind, were now âseeingâ herself clearly, maybe because it was a dream.
âI have been waiting for you, Damia Primula.â
âWhy?â
âI want to show you something.â
Sienna stood up from her seat and held out her hand with an open and casual attitude. Seeing this, Damia hesitated for a moment.
It was because the moment she saw Siennaâs face, she thought of someone who looked awfully similar. Because of this, she could not readily hold her hand.
âOh, youâre thinking of him, arenât you?â
Guess she wasnât just a fortune teller. Sienna noticed her thoughts like a ghost. And, unexpectedly, she smiled slightly.
âAfter all, you made him cry. I thought Iâd have to wait a little longer for that to happen, but youâre incredible.â
It wasnât a sarcastic tone. Rather it was closer to recalling uncomplicated facts.
âI canât even remember the last time I saw his tears.â
After Sienna finished her words, she stared at her with curiosity and donned a stunned look as if she were amazed. Because of this, Damia was very embarrassed.
Fortunately, Sienna soon took her eyes off her and muttered freshly.
âWell, he needs to be in pain. Thatâs how much he hurt others.â
Instead, Sienna said that this episode would help clear his karma and proceeded to refer to abstract concepts Damia didnât understand. She was talking about unfamiliar concepts of karma and causation.
âWhat is she talking about?â
Damia was perplexed by the divinatorâs peculiar and mysterious way of speaking. Then, after she had finished her one-sided conversation talking to her at will, Sienna suddenly grabbed her hand and pulled her.
âNow, follow me. There is not much time left.â
After a moment of following her, Damia suddenly came to her senses and asked:
âWhere are we going?â
âWe will go back to the past now.â
âYes? What⊠⊠?â
Baffled, she became speechless at Siennaâs outlandish response she couldnât keep up with. She thought they were talking in the same language, but somehow she didnât understand her.
Sienna, however, explained evenly and monotonously,
âI wanted to show you someday. What our past was like.â
âWhy tell me about the pastâ No, more than that, what do you mean by âourâ?â
âMe and Akkard, that basic jerk.â
In response to Akkardâs story, Damia reflexively sealed her mouth. Sienna did not mind at all and cursed her brother casually.
âI donât want you to forgive him, but see it. It is true that he is a helpless rascal in the first place, right?â
At the same time, she shrugged her shoulders. And she added,
âI just want to show you. Why he become such a fool.â
When she finished her words, her eyes smiled at Damia. Then they proceeded to walk.
It was very strange to walk with her. Damia felt like she was going against a current as if she was about to be swept away by a roaring whirlpool.
Thatâs why she felt more and more ill. Damia, who had been forcibly holding back her nausea, finally reached her limit and stopped her steps for a moment.
âWait, canât we just take a break?â
After asking for understanding, Damia sat down. And with her head bowed, she took a deep breath as if vomiting.
âWeird. If itâs a dream, why is it so painful?â
Damia was puzzled by her vivid sensations. Then Sienna patted her back lightly and said:
âWell, it might be a little too much for you since itâs your first time.â
âYes, I donât know⊠⊠.â
âBut, weâre here now. Now, raise your head.â
Damia lifted her head, drawn by her strange voice. At that moment, a whip flew in front of her like lightning.
