Qi Guan Rui followed behind Gu Bai with a smiley face as they walked out, the weird feeling inside him became denser and denser.
The longer he knew Zi Ju Shu Bai, the more he thought, if he were to find out the unknown thing hidden beneath Zi Ju Shu Bai’s stoic face, then his world might overturn.
He had always been one with a great desire to dominate, he didn’t like it if something was not within his grasp. But Zi Ju Shu Bai just had to be the person he wasn’t willing to use “that kind of method” on, which made him feel like life had suddenly become interesting.
This kind of feeling made his desires a little uncontrollable.
Explore Zi Ju Shu Bai, invade him without an outside force’s help, control him…if he could succeed, he thought, he would receive immense satisfaction.
Qi Guan Rui suppressed the swarming desires in his body and licked his lips.
That was right, no matter which side, he would be satisfied.
He would obtain it all in the end.
Gu Bai shivered from the cold.
…Was the cave too cold? It shouldn’t have had an effect on him with his Wu Ti.
He thought about it a bit, could it be the chick that returned empty-handed, stabbing a voodoo doll in her mind to curse him?
He brooded silently before deciding that he would ignore it.
Out of the stone door, the chick who was wrongly blamed, walked out just in time. On her pretty face were frustration and dismay.
Gu Bai lit a candle for her in his heart, then spoke with no guilt, “We’re leaving.”
The chick glanced at the two other stone words, wanting to say something but didn’t…though soon realized how the other two had no empathy at all and quickly changed expressions. Returning to the same knowing one from before, even strengthened, “Then let’s go.”
The stone tablet had the exiting method carved upon it, so they followed the orders as stated.
So, after a few wind blowing sounds, the three appeared at the top of the mountain again.
Gu Bai and Qi Guan Rui sent the chick down the mountain before he said, “We’re going back.”
Qi Guan Rui was surprised, “Huh?”
Gu Bai was expressionless, “We’ll come again next time.”
There were so many fucking accidents, who’d want to continue staying here? What if it became even more unlucky? Let’s hurry back home first!
Qi Guan Rui was as obedient as usual, “Alright, Gege.”
So, the two went back.
In the middle of the night, Qi Guan Rui exhaled gas to put Gu Bai into a deep sleep, he patted his own clothes before going towards the depth of the mountain once again.
To be honest, he was pretty obedient, but he also liked to do little tricks behind one’s back quite a bit.
Gu Bai’s reason sounded quite reliable upon listening, yet it didn’t make sense when it came to the benefits.
Plus, Qi Guan Rui didn’t have that kindness either ╮(╯▽╰)╭
Because of this, following the previous path, he quickly returned to the cave.
……One thing worth mentioning now was that Qi Guan Rui also had a space weapon, it just didn’t have as big of an area as Gu Bai’s storage bracelet.
But now, his private money could finally be of use.
Arriving at the cave, Qi Guan Rui read all the text on the stone tablet, finding there was nothing he’d missed, he pushed open the first door.
Who cared how poignant, desolate, and miserable the Qian Kun Man’s love was, finding his heritage was the kingly way.
It is needed to be mentioned that the halo[1] on top of Qi Guan Rui’s head was still sparkling bright.
As soon as the door was pushed open, an enormous stone room could be seen. Two long tables were set on the left and right sides, there were a few dozen huge boxes piled in the corner as well.
Flower pots filled the big table, everything planted in them was spiritual medicines and rare herbs that needed years of nurturing. They were all around their maturing period now. Harvest them and they would definitely sell for a good price. If one refined them into a medicinal bath for themselves, bathing in it would be very beneficial for building the body.
Qi Guan Rui walked over in long strides, he moved fast, destroying all the beautiful flowers. Quickly, he picked off all the matured fruits. Then with a swing of his palm, all the herbs in their pots, were taken into the storage ring. Right after, he immediately opened those huge boxes……
They basically blinded his eyes.
Aside from gold, there were plenty of expensive ores, even rare materials used to make weapons were there, each one of them shone glaringly.
Qi Guan Rui didn’t hold back at all, he took them all in again, then all the other stuff hidden in the stone room was exposed as well.
For example, behind the long table was a small table, on the small table was a small box.
And inside the little box were women’s hairpins and earrings made from famous and precious gems, countless dainty items, and a stack of martial manuals, all bonded together.
The most valuable item was, of course, the Wu Di’s experience-filled journal.
So once again, he took them all.
The stone room appeared to be empty now, Qi Guan Rui looked around as he patted and hit against different spots on the walls.
Since this was a Wu Di’s territory, how could there be no secret room or anything?
So, as he patted and patted…the secret room opened.
In that instant, an enchanting fragrance flew over.
Qi Guan Rui immediately held his breath.
Inside that secret room was a piece of black wood standing several meters tall, and on the wood grew a matured pink shiba that seemed like a Mandarin ducks’ neck-crossing.
The shiba was very cute, almost as if it had an indescribable attraction to it.
With Qi Guan Rui’s inherited bloodline, he quickly recognized it.
Mandarin Duck Shiba…it was a good thing.
He quirked his brows and took them as well.
Even though it couldn’t be used now, its time to be used will come.
After Qi Guan Rui basically searched all throughout this stone room to make sure that he’d missed nothing, he finally walked out of the first door.
He’d already seen the second door, there was nothing inside, aside from the flower sea. But Zi Ju Shu Bai seemed to quite like the view, then let’s maintain it, it was best not to allow others to enter…thinking up to that point, Qi Guan Rui bluntly blew a mouthful of toxic gas on the second door.
That toxic gas was different from the one he used to make Gu Bai unconscious, the other one didn’t harm one’s body, it only made them sleep deeper. But this toxic gas collected around the stone door, if someone dared to push this stone door open…sorry, you’d be the unlucky one.
In a very short time, they would dissolve into fluids.
At last, Qi Guan Rui went to the third door. There were quite a few traps inside, so he transformed into his python body, rolled once inside and all of them were destroyed, he naturally found a bunch of dead eggs as well. Once he checked them all, he realized that one was still alive, so he bit his own finger to give it a drop of blood to sustain its life, then threw it into his storage ring, waiting for it to hatch.
The conclusion was, after searching through the three rooms, he hadn’t left even a single hair behind.
He got great gains tonight, Qi Guan Rui was quite satisfied.
Zi Ju Shu Bai left him feeling puzzled yet conflicting emotions, but to him, they would only be real when they were in his hands.
The Qi Guan Rui, who’d just increased greatly in wealth, jumped out of the cave, ready to go back and continue hugging his Ge to sleep.
Unexpectedly, after skipping only a few steps, a black figure speedily flew by with a “shoo” sound from nearby.
Qi Guan Rui sniffed.
A bloody smell…the smell of human blood…
It made him a little hungry.
With a bit of interest peaked, Qi Guan Rui stood up, his whole body turned into a twisting snake shadow, and traveled quickly along the ground.
Not long after, he’d already caught up to the black figure.
The black figure was definitely human, but it was a very savage human.
There was a wicked fragrance on him, it differed greatly from a normal martial practitioner’s, even those eyes were a piercing scarlet-red.
In this whole world, only one type of person had that appearance.
Mo Ren.
But why would a Mo Ren, who was supposedly from the Demonic City, appear in this range of mountains?
……One needed to know, Qing Tian Academy was the most famous academy on the mainland. The students they recruited were all outstanding martial practitioners and definitely didn’t stand on the same ground with the Mo Rens!
Qi Guan Rui smiled kindly and said in a low voice, “Quite interesting.”
He followed behind the Mo Ren, watching the other race over hundreds of miles until he finally found a dimmed light source.
There was a tent that hunters usually used.
The one guarding didn’t seem very young, they probably weren’t a student of Qing Tian Academy.
The Mo Ren’s eyes appeared even darker in the dark night, he seemed to be pretty calm. But his heels that slowly rolled made it easy to see he was enduring with all his might. If he still couldn’t find an opportunity, then he probably wouldn’t be able to hold back.
Qi Guan Rui observed the person carefully, half-squinting his eyes.
Even if one were to become a little demonized after turning into a Mo Ren, but there wouldn’t be too big of a change on their facial feature…
The other seemed really familiar to him.
The Mo Ran waited for a period before finally jumping out abruptly!
He was like a lone-wolf that’d starved for ages, he leaped in front of that person and started to strangle him!
……He hadn’t even broken it, and instead, he skillfully applied some force, and it already stopped the other’s breathing.
Then the Mo Ren bit into that man’s fresh corpse and took in the deep-red blood in large gulps.
His other hand suddenly pierced the corpse’s chest, plucked out a heart that still emitted heat, it’d just stopped beating.
In two to three bites, he chewed and swallowed it.
When done eating, the Mo Ren didn’t seem to be very fulfilled, he lifted open the tent and entered silently.
Same as before, he hadn’t let out any sounds, he used the same method on the three people inside, dug their hearts out and ate it.
Originally, he was gonna finish them all up, but hadn’t had enough time and fearful of being discovered, he could only finish this quickly…but the heart was where all the essence blood was, and the blood held all of a martial practitioner’s essence, so he could put up with that.
It seemed he’d finally been a bit fulfilled, the Mo Ren walked out, and his face visibly changed.
He set the place on fire extremely fast, both the tent and corpses were burned clean. This method of ridding evidence made Qi Guan Rui, who was watching, feel appreciative.
Only the other’s image when eating was a bit ugly…
After finishing with the fire, the Mo Ren turned back, his face was instantly exposed under the fire’s light.
It was a very handsome face, but it seemed a bit creepy with this background.
Also…pained.
It seemed like he was suppressing something unbearable, that face was almost twisting from pain.
He held his head forcefully and howled silently towards the sky as if he wanted to voice out all the desolation in his heart……
Qi Guan Rui realized he actually did know him, so while in a good mood, he made a noise.
The Mo Ren suddenly turned his head, “……Who?”
Qi Guan Rui walked out from behind the tree very naturally, smiling warmly, “Long time no see, Chou Gongzi[2].”
That’s right, he was Chou Tu, the unlucky Mo Ren who had gone into Qi Deviation when training. Endured, but still had to devour flesh and blood in order to relieve stress and continue living.
Chou Tu instantly put up his guard, he had a deep impression of this person.
“Gu…Gongzi?”
He still thought his name was “Gu Shan”.
Qi Guan Rui shook his head with a smile, “No, I’m Qi Guan Rui.” He looked at Chou Tu as if he was looking at a valuable artwork, filled with appreciation, “…Someone that can help you.”
His tone was very kind, so kind in fact, that it made one shudder in fear.
