Chapter 353: Those Guys Just Won’t Listen
The 11th floor.
Higher species Dungeon Cows dotted the tranquil plains. Their black glossy bodies make them look like regular Japanese cows but their sizes were at least twice as large as a normal ranch cow.
They were bigger than the Dungeon Cows we encountered earlier but not by much. However, their horns were twice as long.
“I thought the Dungeon Pigs on the 10th floor were huge but these cows are humungous,” to be fair, regular Dungeon Cows were already quite big.
“Umu, who knows how much meat we could get out of one kill, but it’s fine since there are a lot of them,” [3] Fer padded forward, his eyes glittering [5].
““It’s meat! Time to gather the meat!””

The place where the higher species of Dungeon Pigs and Cows could be found.

Wait, among the huge cows and pigs, there were some that towered above the rest. Powerful tusks jutted out of the Pigs’ lower jaws and the horns that loomed over the Cows’ heads were even thicker and more dangerous looking.
“Are those
 the special individuals?”
“Umu, looks like it. Hmm, looks like they are going to get cheeky.”
“Uh, get cheeky?”
While I was wondering what Fer was talking about, all the hulkingly huge special individuals suddenly stared in our direction.
“Geh
”
The special individuals lowered their heads and pawed the ground.

Suddenly, they all roared and charged forward.
“Bumooooo!!”
“Pugiiiiiiii!!”
Thump! Thump! Thump!
“This is bad! They are coming this way!”
Moreover, the other Cows and Pigs were also thumping in our direction, as though pulled in by these special individuals.
“This is bad, this is bad, this is bad
” [3] I was nearly sick with fear.
“Enough with your quivering! These losers are no match for us. Dora, Sui! Let’s go!”
““Hah! I’m gonna turn all these weaklings into meat!!””
““Meat~! Sui will harvest lots of meat~””
What happened next was
 well

It was a massacre.
Lightning struck the monsters like an AOE power move on steroids

Wind scythes mowed through the grassland, taking down the monsters as though they were nothing more substantial than tall grasses

A fire wreathed Dora-chan zoomed through the Cows and Pigs, leaving flaming holes

The heads of the monsters were pierced through by Acid Bullets and Ice Pillars

Yes, it was a terrible massacre.
A one-sided smackdown that caused these hulking monsters to scream, turn tail and run away. Their tails between their legs

 This is so unfair that I honestly feel bad for them,”
10 minutes later.
““Yeahhh!!! That’s the last one! Oryaa!!!””
Dora-chan flew after the last of the special individual Dungeon Cow and flew right through it.
Like, literally.
“Bumooooooo

The huge body collapsed and a short while later, the corpse disappeared, leaving a large chunk of meat behind.
There was absolute silence after that. [1] The large horde of Dungeon Pigs and Cows had been thoroughly wiped out.
“
.hey, Fer”
“Mu, you said to keep it moderate, but it can’t be helped.”
““Yeah, they attacked us first!””
““Master~ we have plenty of meat~””
“Haahh
 I guess it really can’t be helped. They did attack us first
 well, it would be a waste to leave all the meat here, so let’s collect them together. [5]”
Needless to say, it took us a lot longer than 10 minutes to finish collecting the meat.
I flopped to the floor, exhausted.
“Aahh, it’s finally over.”
“Goodness, my master is too soft,” Fer’s face loomed over me mockingly.
“Shut up, it’s hard work picking up all these Drops. I nearly threw out my waist picking up all these things.”
“Humph, that is why I say you’re soft. Whatever, get up. I’m hungry.”
““Ou! I’m hungry too!””
““Sui wants dinner too~~””
“Aahh, yes, yes, let’s go,” I wanted nothing more than to stay on the ground all splayed out on the soft grass but
 anyway, I manfully rolled to my feet and we made our way out of the dungeon.
By the time we stepped out of the dungeon, it was completely dark.
Looks like a lot of time had passed.
Anyway, since we’re officially on a mission, I thought we should stop by the Adventurer’s Guild despite the late hours.
It turned out to be a good decision.
The moment we got there, Giannino-san suddenly came out to meet us. [10] “Ooh, you’re back! Ahem, how was the challenge?”

“We made it to the 12th floor,” I said.
“Oh?” said Giannino-san with some careful excitement. “And the request?”
“Hmm, it was for 10 portions of meat from higher species of Dungeon Pigs and Cows, right. Ahem, but, ah, would it be alright for the guild to take
 more?”
“Oh? Oh! Of course, of course! We’d be happy to! Top class meat is always welcomed. Hmm, how about 360 gold for 15 portions of each type of meat?”
“360 gold-! Ahem, sure, 15 portions of each type is fine,” Woah, guess I can’t expect him to take 100 portions each

Anyway, we made the exchange.
I’m pretty happy to leave with more money in my [Item Box]. I had been looking forward to having offal for dinner but I’m too tired to handle the complex process of cleaning and processing them.
Dinner would have to be something quick and simple, but tomorrow!
Yes, I shall definitely eat offal tomorrow!
