I think the skill [Magic Dictionary] is certainly amazing, but. . .
To be honest, the status of his sister Lucy that I saw before was amazing, wasnât it?
Even if he is looking forward to the future, it is doubtful if Geese can catch up with Lucy when he actually gets Lucyâs age. Certainly, as Lucy said, I think Geese has a talent for magic, but so does Lucy. In addition, Lucy wanted to be recognized as the head of the family even though she was a woman, so she seems to have made enough of an effort to vomit blood (according to Trevor-niisama).
I see. Didnât Lucy not want to give up on the position of head of the family because she was better at it?
Well, whatever.
Aside from Lucyâs problem, right now we need to deal with Viscount Hillson.
When I looked at Viscount Hillson through the defensive wall, I called out to Geese, who seemed to be searching with his skill.
âDid you find out anything about Viscount Hillsonâs forbidden technique?â
âIt only came up with the name of the forbidden technique and the name of the magic that defeats the magician, but I donât know if itâs the right information. Even if it is right, all I know is the name. It doesnât have the specific effects of the magic or detailed ways to use it.â
Geese said that sadly, but if we just know the name, it will be easier to find out.
And the name of the forbidden technique searched by Geese is. . .
[Soul-Eating Glutney]
Itâs perfect!! I mean, it was one of Viscount Hillsonâs titles!! I already knew the answer!! Itâs kind of frustrating!!
Huh? Come to think of it, didnât âGlutneyâ mean âGluttonyâ? The pigâs mask is [Magic Eater Mask], also known as [Gluttony Pig], and there are a lot of things related to overeating. Come to think of it, the barrels necessary for [Prison of the Soul] are also the [Coffin of Sloth] from the Seven Deadly Sins. . .
Is the magic against [Soul Eater Glutney] also one of the Seven Deadly Sins? Thatâs what I expected and heard that the name of the magic that defeats the practitioner of [Soul Eater Glutney] is. . .
[Hellâs Gate]
Unfortunately, it wasnât the Seven Deadly Sins. It was a magic with a more dangerous name than the Seven Deadly Sins.
Even after announcing the name, Geese had been searching for a while, but unfortunately he shook his head and looked up.
âI also searched for Hellâs Gate, but I couldnât find any details. It doesnât seem to be in the books Iâve seen so far.â
The book that contains information on [Soul Eater Glutney] and [Hellâs Gate] seems to be a book about lost magic that is said to have existed in the past, almost like myths and legends, and there are many suspicious magic that may or may not be real. Thatâs whatâs recorded. Isnât it difficult to find suspicious magic that may not have existed like that?
But you know, it sounds familiar. [Hellâs Gate]
Did I hear it in my previous life? No, this life? Which one? Is it some kind of movie or comic title? No, I donât think thatâs what it was. What was it?
Since I couldnât remember, I asked Ursch-kun if he knew.
âHmm? Hellâs Gate. Iâve never heard of it. . . By the way, Isabella, isnât Viscount Hillson acting strange?â
When I was told that by Ursch-kun, I looked at Viscount Hillson and he had stopped attacking the defensive wall and was moving his upper body up and down violently as if bowing and while holding his head. When I listened carefully, he was chanting something, but it was so low that I couldnât hear it well.
âUrsch-kun, that person. . . What. . . is he doing?â
âWell. . . I donât know either.â
âHmm. . . Iâm scared.â
At Alice-chanâs muttering, Geese nodded silently and agreed.
The magicians and adventurers who were gathered around were also wary of Viscount Hillsonâs actions and held their breath as they watched him.
Viscount Hillson, who had been moving his upper body up and down for a while, stopped moving in a forward position with his head in his arms. The surroundings began to buzz at the state of the viscount who stopped moving. Even though I was puzzled by the viscount who didnât move, I kept watching to see what kind of action he was going to do next, and about 10 minutes passed. When the tension of the people around him loosened, the arm of the viscount, who was holding his head, fell.
As I suspected that he may have moved to the next body, Viscount Hillson raised his upped body with a fluctuating movement like a puppet. And with a slow movement, he peeled off the wreckage of the pig mask that was clinging to his head.
His expression was gone, but the face of Viscount Hillson, who kept his glaring eyes, was revealed. The part that was not covered by the mask was dirty with dust, and he didnât seem to care about his mottled face. He put his hand in the pig mask and tore out the shattered magic nucleus on the top of the maskâs head.
When he threw away the remaining wreckage of the mask, he crushed the magic nucleus with his bare hands and swallowed it.
âAh, Isabella. . . I have a bad feeling about this. It might be better to get away from the defensive wall a little.â
Before I could respond to Ursch-kunâs remarks, Viscount Hillson changed. The pigment of his skin became white and thin, the blood vessels of the whole body floated to the surface as if the skin was transparent, and he became thinner as if the moisture were coming out of his body.
When I was stunned at the change, Viscount Hillson who spread his arms and looked up to the sky with his upper body raised back and roared.
The air trembled at the roar of Viscount Hillson, the defensive wall vibrated, and the expressions of the magicians who put up the defensive wall were distorted. At the long roar that I didnât know how long it would last, that magicians were sweating and stepping up to hold the defensive wall.
I was stunned, but I came back at Ursch-kunâs moaning, and I also poured my magic to strengthen the defensive wall. When the defensive wall was strengthened and the vibration subsided little by little. Viscount Hillsonâs roar stopped.
I exhaled as the people around me were relieved. At the same time, everyone started talking and it became noisy.
âHey, hey, what was that?â
âI donât know, isnât it a bad struggle?â
âHey!! Iâll hand out potions to the magicians now. Come on, do your best.â
âHe ate the magic nucleus, didnât he? Whatâs that, whatâs going on?â
âItâs the first time Iâve seen anyone who ate magic nucleus, so I donât know.â
âDonât get distracted!! Stay vigilant!!â
While listening to the buzz around me , Ursch-kun, who drank up the potions handed out, started talking in a serious voice.
âIsabella, this probably wonât end, so prepare for battle. If possible, I wonder if Alice-jousama and Geese-sama will prepare the obstacles on the road leading to the royal palace.â
âHmm. . . Is he coming out?â
When Ursch-kun nodded to Alice-chanâs words, a voice raised from the people around us.
âHey!! Heâs laughing!! Heâs going to do something again!! Be alert!!â
Before the personâs voice finished, Viscount Hillson opened his mouth so wide that his jaw was about to come off, and began to take a deep breath. Like a mirage, the air was sucked into his mouth as if the space was swaying. It gradually increased in strength and swirled, and he quietly ate the magic in the defensive wall and the MP of the magicians who were holding it.
I was strengthening the defensive wall, and my MP was getting sucked up as well. In my faint consciousness, I saw a falling magician and Ursch-kun in my sight.
I think [Hellâs Gate] was one of Isabellaâs skills. I may be wrong though. It has been a while sense we last had a look at her status. I really wish that they would just defeat him already, because the tension is driving me crazy!
Thank you to all of those who leave comments and those who donated on ko-fi. It really makes my day and makes the time I put in worth while.
