Chapter 6.19 – Learning Hypnosis

Yang Bing brought her subordinates and hurried over. She was instantly stunned upon seeing the situation and only found her voice a few seconds later. “What’s going on? How could this happen?”

“Stop wasting time, where’s the antidote? Hurry! Uncle Zhang has been bitten.” Wu Yue was extremely anxious.

However, Professor Yang was even more anxious than him. “There isn’t any. The CDC was broken into last night and all the antidote is gone. I just called Captain Xu over to draw some blood so it hasn’t been made yet. Also, there won’t be enough time…”

Xiang Han and Xu Yan Ze had just arrived and were stunned to hear this.

Wu Yue’s expression was worse than someone who was about to cry. “How could this happen? Why didn’t you inform me?”

“I already sent someone but General Zhang had a meeting, so you two just missed each other… this was definitely premeditated!” A wave of remorse instantly overcame professor Yang.

Shen Yan Yu’s face reddened from the rebuke and anger flashed through his eyes, but he remained calm. “General, it isn’t a small matter to be bitten by a zombie. There are antidotes at the research centre. Since your identity is rather special, we must look at the big picture. You cannot be prejudiced towards it just because of previous misunderstandings.”

“No need for your concern. Laozi has already used an antidote.” General Zhang sneered as he undid the bandages on his arm. He waved the evidently uninfected wound.

Shen Yan Yu’s expression changed and it was at this time that Wu Yue arrived with his men. Seeing that his plan had fallen through, he could only grit his teeth. “It’s good that you’re fine. I was just too anxious and overstepped after seeing you hurt, that’s why I may seem biased. Please forgive me.”
