As Leon had expected, Rian confirmed that Dana had left the capital and roughly followed the Duke of Hamilton. Of course, he expected to go to Tertius Castle and stopped a wagon near it.
However, no matter how big Rian was, he could not enter the castle.
Looking at the gate, he tapped the floor with his feet.
How do I lure her outside?
He was pacing and very worried when he caught sight of someone familiar. It was Harbert.
He seemed nervous, but he was rushing out.
Rian went after him and blocked him.
âHey.â
âArgh! Rian⊠Count Felice?
âYou look like youâve seen a ghost. Why are you coming out of the castle?â
âItâs⊠I heard there were defects in a few items, so I went to check.â
Harbert was embarrassed, but as an experienced merchant, he surrounded him with appropriate words. Rian didnât seem to be very suspicious either.
âDid you see the wagon that just arrived? A girl must have been on board.â
âA girl?â
Harbert used his not-so-sharp brain.
The Grand Duke said that Rian might have a woman. But didnât this mean that even Rian didnât know?
âWell, I didnât see. But I think there was a little problem. Soldiers rush⊠Look at that.â
Soldiers from Tertius Castle were scattered from place to place where Harbert pointed.
They seemed to look at people passing by, and ask something as if looking for someone. Rian looked sad.
âWhatâs wrong with him?â
Harbert said and shut his mouth. Rian approached the soldiers as if he couldnât stand it. Then the soldiers asked him,
âWho are you looking for?â
Then the soldier looked at him with a grim look and Rian spoke,
âIâm looking for a woman with blonde hair and blue eyes. Have you seen her?â
âBlonde and blue eyes? Are you talking about a woman living in this castle?â
âThatâsâŠâ
When one of the soldiers tried to answer, the person next to him grabbed his arm and cut off the words.
âI canât tell you that. Bye.â
After they disappeared, Rian expected to be angry at the rude attitude, but instead, he grinned.
âSheâs gone.â
Harbert sweated, wondering if he had told him something useless. If Rian was not the one who took Dana now, where did she go?
* * *
Lisa, Dana, and her party set up a room in the building opposite the Deniz merchants.
âRian should be in the capital. I have to finish my work before he comes back.â
âAre you really going in? If you tell me the place, Iâll be back.â
âNo, Iâm the only one who knows that place. No one will come. Iâll go in a different direction. Lisa, you attract some attention.â
While Lisa and Dana were talking, Geras, who was looking around the top, returned. He was on his way back from delivering a letter written by Dana to Tertius Castle.
âHarbert seems to be away too. Merchants have all left for their area, and only a few middle managers remain.â
Dana met Lisaâs eyes at Gerasâ explanation. Lisa nodded and spoke to Dana once again,
âJust take that item and go out right away. It wonât take long because itâll look weird.â
âIâll be right back. Iâm the only one who knows that passage.â
âBut whatâs that? Does anyone recognize you?â
âYouâve seen it before, Lisa. My father only told me the location of the item. He just told me to find it at the Deniz merchants when itâs taken over by someone else.â
Geras urged them again,
âCome on, get up, itâll be a headache if Herbert or other senior managers come. Many people recognize Lisa.â
Tom packed bags of herbs from outside. Unlike when she was rebuked by Lisa, it was now quite a lot.
âLetâs go.â
For now, Dana went into the merchant building with Lisaâs party. She rolled up her long blonde hair and hid it in a black hood, and she was still wearing a black top and bottom.
However, it was easy to recognize that she was a woman by her curved body. But still, it covered her eyes much more than feminine clothes.
First of all, Lisa went ahead and said hello to her acquaintance.
âHow have you been?â
âOh, Lisa. Whatâs up? You left as if you wouldnât come back.â
âIâm here to sell some items.â
âHey, Lisa. Did you see how the Deniz merchants treated me like a petty guy?â
The merchant dealing with Lisa was a middle manager, and he was a person who chose and managed the items to be distributed to the group.
Most of them were mass-produced or purchased mainly in small quantities and special items, so he didnât seem to be of much interest in what Lisa, an individual, brought.
âFirst, look at it and tell me.â
When Lisa came out confidently, the merchant shrugged up, lowered, and approached them leisurely.
Dana whispered in Lisaâs ear in a voice that only she could hear.
âLisa, me, waitâŠâ
âOh, yeah. You said you were in a hurry, right? Go ahead, itâs outside the building.â
Lisa responded moderately to Danaâs words as if she were going to do business. Dana quickly walked outside, and the middle manager didnât really care about her.
The merchant, who was looking at what was in the bag, said as if he was surprised.
âOh, this is Rosaveria. Where did you get this?â
âI canât tell you that. I told you to check it first.â
Lisa only thought it was a herb, but she didnât know it had the name Rosaveria. From the merchantâs reaction, it was clear that it was a fairly valuable medicine.
