Qiao Pan’er strained her throat and shouted at Zuo Haiwen, “Zuo Haiwen, have you ever loved me?”

Zuo Haiwen stopped, looked back at her, and scowled with disgust, “Every day, when I saw you, I felt like vomiting. The sight of you reminded me of Qiunan and it gave me the urge to kill you. God knows how much self-control it took to hug and touch you without killing you!!”

After saying these words, Zuo Haiwen left without turning around, leaving Qiao Pan’er lying on the floor crying like she had lost her mind.

At the police station.

As soon as Yu Gangan finished filing her report, she spotted He Shigui waiting outside.

He Shigui only suffered light surface injuries, so he waited outside as soon as he filed his report. When he saw Yu Gangan, he removed his jacket and placed it on her.

Zhou Zhou came out of the interrogation room. When she saw He Shigui, she reached out to shake his hand, “Thank you, Mr. He, because of your help, we successfully caught the culprit of the boat explosion. I will report to my superiors and give you recognition.”

“Officer Zhou, no need to be polite. It’s only right for the public to cooperate with the police. Besides, I am one of the victims, so I can only be safe if the killer is caught,” He Shigui expressed.

Yu Gangan was confused by these words.

So, she asked, “Teacher, did you and Officer Zhou discuss a plan to catch Jiang Baian?”

Now that Jiang Baian was caught, He Shigui no longer had to hide the truth from Yu Gangan.

In a gentle voice, he explained, “Before you arrived at the police station the other day, I already filed a report and told Officer Zhou everything that happened on the boat that day. From the information I gave her, Officer Zhou drafted a plan to lure out the culprit. We used one of the photographer’s onboard the boat to trick Jiang Baian into thinking that we had a witness and evidence against him. We knew it would make him anxious. That’s why he was so desperate to destroy the evidence and ended up making a move on me.”

“We just didn’t expect him to make a move in Beijing. Luckily, nothing happened to you guys. I really need to thank Mr. Fang for his help,” Zhou Zhou said.

Yu Gangan instantly understood.

No wonder her teacher went to the police station the next day and went out with Zhou Zhou. It turned out they had planned everything.

She then asked, “Master Handsome, what about the medical records you have at home? Is it a list of Jiang Baian and the Qiao Family’s drug testers?”

“Just before the seminar, you suddenly told me to go back and fetch some documents. Was it because you sensed there was danger?” Yu Gangan asked.

But, I didn’t expect you to get into a car accident.”

He Shigui held onto Yu Gangan’s hand, “Luckily, nothing happened to you.”

Yu Gangan smiled at her teacher, “Of course, I’m fine. You should have told me about this earlier. Perhaps, you wouldn’t have gotten into an accident if you did. By the way, Officer Zhou, did you find any evidence at the Qiao Family’s hospitals?”
