The bruise on the snow-white skin stuck out like a sore thumb. When Fang Zhihan saw it, his expression turned icy, causing the surrounding air to become cold as well.

He glanced at Yu Gangan’s medicine chest that was on the shelf and asked, “Is there medicine inside?”

Yu Gangan’s face turned hot. Although Fang Zhihan had simply seen her back, she felt like he had seen her entire body, “Yes, I’ve already applied medicine.”

Fang Zhihan stretched his arms, took the medicine chest, opened it and asked, “Which bottle?”

“Never mind,” Yu Gangan didn’t want him to apply medicine for her, so she refused.

“Then I’ll apply a bit of everything,” Fang Zhihan said as he picked up two bottles and waved them in front of Yu Gangan.

She glanced at Fang Zhihan and pointed to the small ointment in the second cell.

Fang Zhihan held the bottle, squeezed out a bit of ointment and applied it to her skin.

His cold fingers moved slowly across her back, like a feather tickling at her heart. Yu Gangan tensed up, too afraid to even take a deep breath.

“How did you get hit?”

“I lost my footing and…accidentally hit it,” Yu Gangan said after a moment of hesitation. She remembered the old man’s worn face and undeniable bitterness, and decided not to tell the truth.

Elder Jiang already told her that Jiang Baian would never cause her trouble again.

It seemed, he had already taught Jiang Baian a lesson. Since Jiang Baian was afraid of Elder Jiang, it was safe to assume that he wouldn’t act out of line again.

Fang Zhihan tilted his head and looked at the side of her face. His deep eyes narrowed a little and seemed as though they could see through her.

But, he did not question her any further. Instead, he changed the subject, “How did the follow-up go? How is my grandfather recovering?”

Yu Gangan rested her chin on her hand and said, “There are no issues. He’s recovering well.”

“Why didn’t you wait for me to pick you up?”

“It’s because Jiang Baian came…” Yu Gangan replied casually before she realized she had said something wrong and quickly looked at Fang Zhihan.

But, Fang Zhihan looked normal as he replied calmly, “En.”

Yu Gangan assumed that he didn’t notice anything, so she tried to change the subject. However, she suddenly remembered the phone call that Elder Jiang made earlier and turned to look at Fang Zhihan again, “I need to explain something. I really didn’t force your grandfather and tell him that I wanted to marry you.”

“En,” Fang Zhihan nodded with seriousness. After a short pause, he said, “You forced my grandfather to make me marry you.”

“Watch what you’re saying. Did you know that I’m your auntie now?”

“What?”

Fang Zhihan’s surprised response made Yu Gangan chuckle evilly, “Your grandfather asked me to be his daughter. That means I’m your auntie.”

Before she finished speaking, Fang Zhihan’s hand suddenly pressed hard on her back.

Yu Gangan couldn’t help but scream in pain.

She looked at Fang Zhihan angrily and complained, “What are you doing? Are you trying to kill me?”

“I want to eat you up.”

After speaking, he suddenly leaned forward and bit down on her juicy shoulders.

Yu Gangan was in pain, “Are you a dog? Why did you bite me?”

Fang Zhihan’s bite wasn’t hard, but a faint red mark was left behind and quickly faded. He then moved up to her ear and bit her again in a punishing manner.

Yu Gangan’s eyes opened wide and she reached out to push away the head of the man behind her.

But, Fang Zhihan grabbed onto her hand and pressed her against the bed. He then kissed her on the lips domineeringly. However, his kiss wasn’t deep. He simply rubbed his lips teasingly against hers.
