Yu Gangan spoke gently, but Elder Jiang responded with a loud complaint, “Who said there’s no point? Hurry and fetch me water.”

He huffed and puffed in anger like he was about to faint any minute.
The threat in his eyes was obvious. If he fainted, she would immediately take the blame.

But, Yu Gangan was unafraid. She looked at the old man and smiled slightly, “I am a doctor. If you faint, I can apply a needle and you will wake right up. If you don’t wake up, I can use another method. Your threats don’t work on me.”
The old man was speechless again.
He was so angry he didn’t know what to say. All he could do was glare at Yu Gangan and roll his eyes.
“Also, I need to explain to you, I’m not dating your grandson. Your grandson is pursuing me and I’m still considering whether to accept him,” Yu Gangan added.
The old man opened his eyes wide in shock and doubt, “What? My grandson is pursuing you and you’re still considering it?”
Yu Gangan nodded her head lightly, “Yes.”
Her response was deliberately high-pitched as she smiled and her eyes lit up like stars.
The old man was so angry, he really almost fainted.
“Look at yourself. Your body is flat like pickled vegetables, your facial features are plain, and your medical skills are useless, it’s your luck that my grandson is interested in you. What is there to consider?!” he yelled.
Yu Gangan smiled sweetly, “That’s true, my body is flat like pickled vegetables, my facial features are plain, and my medical skills are useless, but it’s also true that your grandson likes me and wants to pursue me. He doesn’t want anyone but me. I can’t help it either.”
After she finished speaking, she spread her palms in a stressed manner.
The old man’s yelling was useless, and so were his threats. Burning in anger, he pointed at Yu Gangan and said, “Would you believe it if I hit you?”
