Character cheat sheet. This is mainly for me, and people who took a break from the novel.\n
Yukiya Kitahara(北原雪哉) now (雪耶): The protagonist. A junior high student, 14, and now a Snow girl. Short black hair, beautiful pale skin.\n
Syuuji Kitahara(北原修司): Yukiya’s father, and owner of the Snow House.(雪乃亭) Which is located in Hyousei Village(氷清村)\n
Yukino(雪乃): Yukiya’s mother, and is a snow woman/ Yuki Onna.\n
Hazuki Natsumi(夏美) and Saeki Tomonori(佐伯智則): Yukiya’s friends and classmates.\n
Hikura Kouko(氷倉凍子). The evil young Yuki Onna. Sharp eyes, and long black hair. Reiko is her mom.(冷子) And Himiko(氷見子)is her lackey.\n
Azusa Okamoto AKA Azuchi (岡本梓 ) Girl friend.\n
Mai Fujisaki (藤崎舞) Girl Friend.\n

Leaving their mother behind, Yukiya continued their search, and after a little while they managed to find the three idols.\n
However, Yukiya was also completely lost.\n
Wide spaces, narrow spots. It was getting really complicated.\n
This was the first time Yukiya had been to a place like this. She had only heard stories from her mother, and just had Yukinmusume intuition to go off of.\n
Now on that alone she’d have to take them home.\n
Inside this cave the ice shone brightly, but the twinkling lights also disorient them.\n
There are many forks in the road ahead. Three outsiders would never find their way out.\n
Yukiya must lead the way.\n
She went on ahead, occasionally turning around and beckoning them forward.\n
On top of that, before, they walked downhill going into the cave, so they had to go uphill on their way back. It’s inside a snow and ice covered it all, and they did not have special footwear.\n
The cold and fatigue made each step heavy.\n
“Let us catch up. . .” \n
Their feet won’t listen in this cold. The two began to slow their pace.\n
Despite their lowering morale, with Yukiya’s guidance the three of them were sure they’d find their way out of the cave.\n
Kanna’s voice could be heard in the distance.\n
If she catches up it will all be over.\n
With that thought in their mind, the three mustered their strength and pushed forward.\n
Taking the lead of the three, Mai ended up slipping on the ice under her feet.\n
Mutusmi came up behind and quickly helped her up.\n
It’d be over if they were caught.\n
That thought made them all exert all of their remaining strength.\n
“Y-Yeah, we’re finally there.”\n
They could see the light reflecting from the snow outside.\n
What met them was a beautiful starry night sky, stretching out into the horizon.\n
The leader of the group, Mutsumi, was confused though.\n
Finally they managed to leave the cavern. However what met them was a completely different setting from when they first entered the cave.\n
When the three of them and Kanna had entered the cave before, they entered from a small crack in a steep mountain slope.\n
However now when they looked, the place they had just left was a huge cave tunnel.\n
And the area was not a steep mountain, but rather a flat open space.\n
It was not snow whirling up, but rather a gentle white vapor rising from the ground.\n
Quickly they realized it was steam.\n
Through many rugged rocks, the spring gushed out.\n
It was accompanied with a slight smell of sulfur.\n
“This is another entrance. It’s close to the old Hyosei Mountain Crater. . .”\n
All of them held their noses.\n
“Ah come to think of it, I’ve heard of this before. . .”\n
“It was a volcano long ago. . .”\n
“There is a hot spring town on the other side of Hyosei Village.”\n
All of them were local idols, and had heard rumors from working in the village.\n
Regardless of their confusion, warmth was all they looked for.\n
“I don’t have time to explain in detail, so let’s head back to the foot of the mountain. We need to go before she catches up. . .”\n
Kanna still hadn’t reached them. So Yukiya once again acted as their guide and led them forward.\n
Suddenly two shadows blocked their path.\n
The girls were dressed in white kimono similar to what Yukiya was wearing.\n
Kouko and Himiko were waiting for them outside.\n

It just came out and I wanted to get it out before christmas. After 4 months it finally came out. I feel like the passion for the story may be running thin on their part. I don’t blame them or anything though. They have been working on it for years. It’s a shame because it’s an interesting premise, it’s just been really slow story wise. Plus writing a story is just hard.\n
I’ll update when possible, but I may eventually drop this story. \n
On another note, I’m still looking for a story to work on inbetween waiting for new chapters for my other translation work. If I’m honest I’ve just been distracted(I found vampire survivors). So the search is off and on. I’ll find something though(eventually.) \n
