~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~\n
It was a little before noon.\n
On that day, my mother and I were in charge of dealing with customers.\n
When suddenly the entrance rang.\n
It was a young girl peeking into the shop.\n
“Excuse me, are you open?”\n
I replied with a smile.\n
Although we have a nameplate saying we are open, it will obviously make you doubt yourself when you enter a shop with nobody in there.\n
After that was confirmed, two other girls followed.\n
It was then I recognized them.\n
I was barely managing to hold in my shock as I rose to attention.\n
“Oh, this is a nice shop.”\n
A girl with a ponytail said as she entered.\n
“Well let’s go inside. . .”\n
A girl with short hair, looking slightly younger, said with a high pitched voice.\n
“I’m so tired. . .Anywhere is fine.”\n
And then behind them, a quiet long straight haired girl.\n
They aren’t wearing kimonos, in fact they look normal.\n
Wearing tightly buttoned up coats, and bodies shrunken from the cold. Including accessories such as scarfs, gloves, and earmuffs.\n
None of them seemed used to cold weather.\n
How did they manage yesterday?\n
Well to be fair, today’s weather forecast has a low of below 0 degrees Celsius. Moreover, it is snowing mercilessly. Which is one reason we have no customers. So despite the name snow girls, it would be really difficult to move around in yesterday’s trademark kimono.\n
“Pardon the intrusion.”\n
They entered the store while rubbing their hands and shivering.\n
Once the warm air of the store hit them, all gave a pleasant “Ah, it’s warm.”\n
It’s actually hot for me.\n
I remember that I have an informational pamphlet from yesterday.\n
The girl with the ponytail is named Mai. She is the leader of the Snow Girl and the most mature.\n
Next to her is the child-like shorthaired Matsumi. She has a high pitched anime like voice.\n
Then the long straight hair girl. She is the youngest of the pack.\n
“Are there any seats in the back?”\n
Since there are no other customers, I can give them any seat they’d like.\n
“Eh? Oh, here please this way.”\n
I served them hot tea and handed them our menu.\n
Depending on the customer, I judge whether or not to give them cold water, or hot tea. Hoping that this gesture would make their stay even more comfortable.\n
“Didn’t I see you yesterday? So you are a store child.” \n
The calm leader Mai seemed to have recognized me.\n
“Oh, You were listening to us when we were singing!”\n
Matsumi seems more lively.\n
“Thank you for listening. Yesterday everybody was talking about. . . a cute girl was watching us.”\n
She seemed rather reserved compared to everybody.\n
It’s rather surprising compared to what you’d expect just from seeing her on stage.\n
“Eh? That’s right, I was watching. So you remembered me?”\n
“Of course we did. Those that come out to listen to us are burned into my eyes.”\n
She gestured as if she had glasses by putting her thumb between her eyes.\n
“Well, it was also because you were incredibly cute.”\n
All three of them were looking at me.\n
“Is that so. I’m happy to hear.”\n
I was a bit confused. But made sure to keep it professional. A trick is to flatter the other party.\n
“By the way, what are you all up to today?”\n
I ended up being drawn into a conversation with them. There are no other customers so this should be okay.\n
They planned to walk around the city and visit various shops in the morning.\n
Right now though, they are taking a break, so decided to visit a small store. That is what it seems like.\n
I arrange the tea on the table. As they looked at their menu.\n
All three were very grateful to warm their throats.\n
“How was it? Our new song.”\n
Mai-san asked me. She seemed naturally worried.\n
“It was good. It was really good.”\n
The song wasn’t bad, but I felt like the lyrics had nothing to do with Yukinmusume. But I decided to keep my minor criticism to myself.\n
All three of them shined once they heard my casual reply.\n
“You think so!?! I thought we performed the song pretty well.”\n
Mitsumi-san stood up rattling the table.\n
“That was a great response, please continue to listen to us.”\n
“M-Me too. . .I’m very happy you liked it.”\n
Then the young one bowed her head to me.\n
That was a pretty energetic response.\n
I’m afraid to think how they would have reacted if I didn’t have something good to say.\n
That’s it. For these releases. Sorry for not posting anything. Especially seeing as I’ve just got 200 followers. Wow. . . That’s crazy. I’ll try to post more, some life stuff and health things happened. Nothing serious, if you were wondering. I just need to find a new story that will get me more motivated/engaged. \n
So i’m looking for new story recommendations. No promises I’ll pick them up. I do have a bunch of stories already saved. It might be Yuri, it might not. Because of the varied genres I’ve translated. Some people are fans of yuri, and others aren’t. So I’m sorry if the new story may not interest one of those camps. Though It will probably be gender bender in some way. Really depends on what sticks out to me. \n
Oh, here is a link if you’d like to tip me. Completely optional. I’ll translate regardless of if you do or not. https://ko-fi.com/G2G6EFF3#
