JHo still tormented Ho-Chi and Ho-Chi still suffered through JHo's treatment while crafting offerings for Master Cheon-Ho in his room.
If you had to, however, pin-point a change, it would be the fact that Ho-Chi no longer offers his finish product to Master Cheon-Ho. Instead, Ho-Chi piled his gifts in the deep part of his drawer.
Master Cheon-Ho was not in good terms with Master YMang who rules over Tae-Chon that is in the south. Even though Master Cheon-Ho did not care, he still had to think of a birthday gift for Master YMang. Yes, Master Cheon-Ho had to give a gift, but he had no intention of giving Master YMang anything good.
Giving a poorly picked gift, however, would provide Master YMang with reasons to find fault in Master Cheon-Ho. Master Cheon-Ho did not liked the predicament he was in.
Noticing Master Cheon-Ho's dilemma, JHo spoke up.
"Master Cheon-Ho, why would this matter bother you so much. It is enough to send Ho-Chi there. After all, Ho-Chi is still Master Cheon-Ho's child. Master YMang would not be able to find anything wrong with the gift."
To JHo's words, a light flashed through Master Cheon-Ho's eyes.
Although the child is a disgrace, Ho-Chi still was a direct bloodline to Master Cheon-Ho. Without any warning, subordinates barged into Ho-Chi's cottage. While being taken away, Ho-Chi felt dazed with confusion and scared at the same time.
Ho-Chi's destination was a bathhouse filled with hot water.
Others helped Ho-Chi bath in a rose petal filled bathtub, helped him massage in aromatic herbal oil into the skin, and helped wash his hair.
Ho-Chi always used cold water that was left over by other servants for his daily use. When that wasn't even allowed, Ho-Chi had rain water. To wash, Ho-Chi used scraps of soup that he gathered.
After the bath, many cosmetics were applied all over Ho-Chi's body. Still healing injury on Ho-Chi's forehead was covered up by a lovely band.
A beautiful silk clothes with flower embroiders, that Ho-Chi could not touch before, were slipped on Ho-Chi's shoulders. Jewelries were draped over Ho-Chi's legs arms neck and ears.
Overfilled with happiness, Ho-Chi cried tears of joy. It must be that Master Cheon-Ho is finally accepting Ho-Chi into the main palace. Finely dressed Ho-Chi, however, was guided to a palanquin. Behind the palanquin, there were carts with some gifts.
From the inside of the palanquin, Ho-Chi opened a window and looked out.
"You will be presented to Master YMang as a gift. Be glad that you are able to be of help to Master Cheon-Ho during your life time." Said JHo.
JHo was there to scoff at Ho-Chi's unsightly form for one last time.
JHo watched the palanquin that Ho-Chi was in as he mocked the shabby gifts in the other carts. And then, JHo's eyes met Ho-Chi's through the window.
Soon the palanquin started moving forward and blind came down by the window, so JHo could no longer see Ho-Chi. For some reason, JHo stood there in a daze until he could no longer see the palanquin.
Long time later JHo became regretful.
Long time later Master Cheon-Ho became regretful.
Why did they send Ho-Chi to Master YMang that time… They repented their action.
Ruling Tae-Chon of the south, Imugi* Master YMang stared at the gifts that were offered to him.
*Korean dragon*
His black hair and big figure were very imposing, truly deserving of the title as a ruler. When Master YMang's cold gaze landed on Ho-Chi, Ho-Chi could not help but shiver. The vassals who were by Master YMang's side clicked their tongue as they felt astounded by what they saw.
They all were aware of the child who was born of short tail from Master Cheon-Ho.
They also knew from the hearsay that the child was treated with contempt and didn't even receive a second glance from Master Cheon-Ho. This well-endowed information was due to vassals' interest in brooding over Master Cheon-Ho's misfortunes.
But now, they sent their short-tailed fox to us to take care of.
"You are the child of Cheon-ho…"
Master YMang did not like Master Cheon-Ho who was normally frivolous.
I divided today's into two parts. Thank you for reading despite how difficult it is to endure Ho-Chi's sufferings. Don't worry, those who deserve their punishments will have their hearts broken! ?
