Thanks for coming here, cuties!
The original intent of writing the fanwai was to make everyone eat their fill of sweetness. At the same time, I also wanted to write out the two most important events in their lives to let everyone know that they were still a very sweet, extraordinary AO pair after leaving campus. From now on, their lives will continue together, depending on each other and protecting each other, with no separation.
Yan Ge and WangWang are the big babies of my heart. I said before starting this story that I like the set up of this matching CP very much, with the O very similar to an A and the A very similar to an O. As a result of these kinds of temperaments, these two in the ABO world are treated very differently by others.
From the beginning, Yan Ge was a hard-as-steel O, associated with violence and arrogance. But in actuality, he was very lacking in love. There was a soft heart under his hard shell, otherwise he wouldn’t have been able to repeatedly put up with Zou Rui, just because that was the only alpha who could chat pretty well with him, and he probably wouldn’t have reacted as he did when faced with this unfamiliar xuedi, Wang Zhe, suddenly confessing when they first met, just because no one had ever said those three little words to him “I like you”. On the surface, he coldly refused, but actually, towards Wang Zhe, he unexpectedly didn’t want him to just have hopeless expectations anymore.
In the middle of the story, he clearly understood his mindset, but his thoughts were too straightforward, so that Wang Zhe came to misunderstand him. In fact, there was another reason for this, Yan Ge was actually very shy, he could carry out violent acts without fear and talk about H things without his heart skipping a beat, but he felt embarrassed to say for the first time in his life “I like you” and felt embarrassed to face the Wang Zhe who would call him “Baby” in the middle of the night. In his pure and innocent heart, he was really shy, he really was a little baby.
Later on in the mutual-love part of the story, he still had his own pride. He hadn’t turned into a weak O who would be dependent on an A. He was still the xuezhang who would fiercely guard his own alpha, only willing to act coquettishly in front of his own alpha.
Yan Ge changed a lot from the beginning to the end. Although he may not have been as much of a humble and devoted dog compared to Wang Zhe, if you wanted him to change into that, he wouldn’t be Yan Ge anymore.
As for Wang Zhe, everyone ought to understand his type of character much more anyway. From beginning to end, he was always a loyal dog gong whose heart was filled with his Xuezhang. His type of disposition could actually match very well with any O for a happy ending, but I think he was the perfect match for Yan Ge. Only with an O of Yan Ge’s disposition could the desire and passion suppressed in his heart be completely freed. And only an A like him could manage to melt Yan Ge’s hard shell. Because Wang Zhe understood him, admired him, and was happily willing to use a suppressant, holding firm to a devotion that could possibly never be understood. He was clearly capable of forcing him to submit, but with a heart full of respect and love, he was unwilling to hurt him even a bit.
They hit a bullseye with each other and were each other’s greatest fortune.

Let’s let their story stop at this most beautiful time. The days of their future will be left to everyone’s imagination. Maybe in the future, little daily episodes of their lives will be released, but I can’t say for sure~
In short, I wish you all happiness and joy, like WangWang and Yan Ge growing more sweet and nourishing every day~

Translator’s Postscript:\nThe big news first: At the beginning of April, the author announced through her Weibo that she will be (slowly/eventually) writing Xiao Jiang/Xiao Bao’s story as a sequel! (She also joked that even though it’s about their son, ShaoWang will forever be young~) Hopefully someone translates it when it comes out!
I wanted to share this novel because I love how realistic the characters are in it. Neither of them is a perfect male god, who always says the right thing, who never gets mad or frustrated, who can read his  partner’s mind – both of them are flawed and are well-aware of it. They’re both imperfect humans and they’re both in a relationship for the first time, so of course there is miscommunication and misunderstandings!
But over the course of the novel, JSY, who was raised by his omega father who was tossed aside by his alpha and wants to preserve his arrogant, bad-tempered image, learns that it’s okay to be vulnerable, and WZ, who never had the personality of an overbearing alpha even though he was superior to most, learns that there are times he needs to step up and be strong if there’s something he wants to protect.
I love reading their story of learning to navigate a relationship, of learning how to love another person, and of how their relationship and the other person helps them to change for the better. A lot of people like completely idealized love stories, and that’s fine, but I like this one that’s a bit more down to earth (even though it’s set in an ABO world). I hope you also enjoyed it if you stuck around this long!
