Jonathan sighed in dismay at Julianâs reckless behavior.
âUhh, so. Sam, Iâm glad youâre back safe and sound. But, what the hell, did you really do that to Julian?â
âYes, I kicked him right in the groin!â
Jonathan held his stomach as Sam puffed out his chest as if he had just done a good thing.
Lise looked up and asked Sam,
âD-Did you really crush it?â
âIt was just squishy. I just had the feeling it was crushed, but I didnât feel much of a response, you know? I wonder why?â
Samâs words made Jonathan sigh inwardly.
Lise had been looking gloomy, but now she frowned and sighed heavily.
âUhh, are you gentlemen okay with being crushed like that?â
âHow could they be? Even a small smack can make you faint in agony. ThatââSam, what a horrible thing to do. Itâs going to haunt my dreams.â
The father looked at his daughter, who didnât quite understand what they were talking about.
Sam was on the side of crushing, so heâs fine, but he doesnât want to be on the side of being crushed.
âI-I see.â
âAs a man, I would not want to go through the same thing. So, did you kill Julian?â
âNo, I didnât take his life because I thought it would be troublesome if I killed him. Well, as a man, I wanted him to die.â
âI-I know youâre concerned, but I think thatâs going to be a big problem if you crush his groinâŠwell, whatever. He almost killed you, I guess he should be glad that heâs still alive.â
(Well, he would have suffered so much that he would have been better off dead, but he got what he deserved.)
âThat man said Lise-sama was his property. Of course, I cannot forgive him for what he did to Lise-sama, but there must have been other victims. As the same man, I could not forgive him. He should suffer as much as possible.â
âSam.â
âI am sorry for having been so selfish.â
Sam doesnât regret it in the slightest, but heâs sorry that he caused Lise and Jonathan, and the others to worry as a result.
Sam just didnât want to cause unnecessary grief to Lise, who was feeling down after meeting with Julian.
âThereâs no need for Sam to apologize. Rather, you went out of your way to beat that man for me, didnât you? Marie told me everything. Itâs repulsive that that manâŠthought I was his woman.â
Sam can only imagine what Lise is going through as she looks bitter.
It is never pleasant to see an ex-husband who has tormented her so much and still thinks of her as his property.
âIn my position, I have a lot to say to Sam, but as a father, let me say one thingââwell done.â
Instead of blaming Sam, Jonathan smiled.
He, too, was unhappy with his daughter, and he must have had some thoughts for Julian.
Sam nodded in response to him.
âThe Michels are going to make some noise, but Iâll take care of that. It all started when Julien tried to kill Sam.â
âI wish he had only tried to kill me, but he even went so far as to say that he would take Lise-sama, Stella-sama, and Hanae-sama as his concubines.â
âHe is the worst kind of man. Why should we be his concubines?â
âRather, we are thinking of protesting from our side for trying to kill Sam and rob Lise and her family. Of course, by making things bigger, we will let the other houses know that we are justified.â
