Gossiping About the Brother-In-Law Who Likes Me [1]

When Chen Liguo finished his last cigarette, he finally saw the woman come out of the door.

The woman was very beautiful and her light blue gauze dress swayed like the waves in the wind. When Chen Liguo looked at her, she was talking to the man beside her. Just by looking at her demeanor, one could tell that she was very happy.

"Tongtong." Chen Liguo took a few steps and called the woman's name from a distance.

Ran Tongtong was talking to the person beside her, upon hearing Chen Liguo's voice, a look of surprise appeared on her face. She turned to look at Chen Liguo and said, "Wenyou, you're back!"

Chen Liguo's name in this world is Xu Wenyou, one of Ran Tongtong's pursuers, a perfect spare tire ^[1] that everyone admires.

"Yeah." Chen Liguo smiled and rubbed his hair, looking a little embarra.s.sed. He said, "I received the invitation you sent me."

"Oh." Ran Tongtong's cheeks reddened and she looked at the man beside her with a shy look. She said, “When did you return to the country? Are you planning to leave again? "

Chen Liguo glanced at the man beside Ran Tongtong and knew that Ran Tongtong truly did find her happiness, so why has Ran Tongtong’s progress bar not reach one hundred? He had a bad feeling in his heart, but he still put on a smiling face and said, “I don’t know, it depends on the situation.”

Ran Tongtong smiled in satisfaction, and the three got into to the car together and went to the restaurant.

Throughout the entire car ride, Ran Tongtong asked Chen Liguo if his stay abroad over the past few years had been good. When Chen Liguo suddenly left without saying goodbye, no one could find him. It wasn't until a few months later that Chen Liguo told Ran Tongtong that he had left the country and reminded her to not worry herself. Only then, was Ran Tongtong able lay her mind to rest.

The Wenyou that Chen Liguo played in this world should have probably spoken a little more, but he tucked these things away in his heart and stayed silent as Ran Tongtong reminisced about the old times.

When they arrived at the restaurant, the three people got off and entered a private room.

Ran Tongtong ordered Chen Liguo’s favorite dish and chatted with him. On the contrary, her fiancé Gao Zheng did not say anything.

"Tongtong…" Chen Liguo said, "Is your wedding scheduled for next month?"

Ran Tongtong nodded. "Yes, it's on the third of next month, you must come."

The wedding day was a nice sunny day, and Chen Liguo took an already prepared suit out of the suitcase and neatly put it on.

The man in the mirror looked somewhat unfamiliar. Chen Liguo caressed the mirror with his hand and revealed a bright smile.

Half an hour, the wedding scene.

Ran Tongtong, who wore a white wedding dress, looked a little anxious. She looked at the door from time to time, as if she was looking forward to someone.

“Who are you waiting for Tongtong.” Ran Tongtong’s bridesmaid asked from the side.

“Well…” Ran Tongtong bit her red lips and whispered, “Wenyou is back.”

“What?!” The bridesmaid was shocked to hear this sentence, “You said Xu Wenyou is back home?!”

Chen Liguo looked at Ran Tongtong, who was wearing a wedding dress, and couldn’t resist reaching out and touching Ran Tongtong’s head, giving a gentle hum. Although others thought he liked Ran Tongtong, he actually thought of this girl as a sister whom he needed to take care of.

“Hurry and go greet the others, you're already so big and yet you still act like a child.” Chen Liguo smiled. “Don’t worry about me.”

“Well…” Ran Tongtong was a bit sad, but she was very busy as a bride. After exchanging a few words with Xu Wenyou, she quickly left.

Chen Liguo sat in the position arranged by Ran Tongtong and found several familiar faces around him.

“Wenyou, you came back and didn't even tell us?” His female high school cla.s.smates were the first to question Chen Liguo about this topic.

“Well…I was in a rush to come back.” Chen Liguo smiled.

Everyone was very curious about why Chen Liguo suddenly went abroad and Chen Liguo perfunctory said a few words before he excused himself to go to the toilet, avoiding the topic.

When everyone saw that he didn’t want to talk more they changed the topic.

Chen Liguo went to the toilet and took a pack of cigarettes from his breast pocket and lit up a cigarette. However, the cigarette just lit up when a male voice sounded behind him, “I haven’t seen you for a few years and you learned to smoke?”

Chen Liguo's hand trembled, the smoke in his hand almost falling to the ground.
