Chapter 157: Brutally and Violently
Even though she wasn't fully conscious, Arshelly could hear the voice of her beloved father.
Arshelly spoke to Kang Chul-In with a weak voice.
âIâm here. Your dad is here. SoâŚâ
Kang Chul-In hopped off the Altaica.
Saying this, Kang Chul-Inâs eyes were full of fatherly love.
âD-Donât tell meâŚâ
When he saw this, Sheville Polansky---
Seemed liked he was about to fall over on the spot from shock.
âT-That little b*tch... w-was the daughter of⌠O-Overlord Kang Chul-InâŚ?!â
This wasn't even close to just a small mistake, so it was as if Sheville had stepped into a field of explosive mines.
The daughter of Overlord Kang Chul-In?
He had kidnapped the daughter of the man that even Baruk Al-Yusuf had to kneel to?
And he was planning on killing her before turning her into his mannequin?
T-This canât be⌠No⌠No⌠NOOOO!!!
Sheville wanted to bite his tongue and die.
âThis⌠wonât happen again.â
Without taking so much as a glance at Sheville, Kang Chul-In promised.
âI⌠believe you, fatherâŚâ
Arshelly spoke, her voice trembling.
Her voice resembled that of a dying person's.
When he heard it, Kang Chul-Inâs heart felt like it was being torn apart.
âI-I love you, fatherâŚâ
âDad⌠Please save the ones trapped there tooâŚâ
Arshelly pointed at the other children stuck inside the glass containers.
The Bittermoon territory would soon be taken over by Baruk Al-Yusuf anyway, and he wouldnât kill those children since he followed the Islamic law.
âYes, father. I canât anymore... my eyesâŚâ
âItâs okay, you can go ahead and close them.â
Grabbing Arshelly, Kang Chul-In patted her on the back.
âDonât worry. What is there to worry about when dad is here?â
âWhen you wake up, weâll both be in Laputa.â
âYes, father⌠I loveâŚâ
While Arshelly was speaking,
Her eyelids shut closed, and her head drooped down.
With Kang Chul-In here, Arshelly was finally able to fall asleep in peace.
At last, Kang Chul-In didnât feel the same emptiness he had felt before.
Was family such an important thing
Kang Chul-In realized just how important Arshelly was to him now.
Son! Come and visit home more often!
His mother's, Park Sun-Jaâs, voice echoed in his head.
He couldnât understand why he had ignored his mother in his past life, and instead only focused on waging war.
I wonât let any harm come to you.
While Kang Chul-In was speaking to Arshelly, Sheville Polansky started to tiptoe towards the exit.
Of course, the problem was that Arshelly and Kang Chul-In werenât the only ones in the room.
The Altaica growled towards him, as if warning him.
Afraid of the giant beast, Sheville stopped moving.
The Altaica showed off its fangs, which were still dripping with flesh blood. It also started to circle around him, intensifying his fright.
Even though Sheville's eyes reddened from rage, there was nothing he could do.
The Altaica snorted, ignoring him.
There was no way that the Sheville's ability would work against the Altaica, since it didnât even know the âMâ in 'magic'.
âWhere do you think you're going?â
From behind him, Sheville heard the voice of the grim reaper.
âYou have to pay the price now.â
âI-Iâm sorryâŚ! Please have mercyâŚâ
Sheville didnât dare to turn around. He was too afraid to look at Kang Chul-Inâs face.
There was no way he could win against Kang Chul-In since he didnât use magic. The only choice was toâŚ
Sheville turned his body around and kneeled directly in front of Kang Chul-In.
He then started to smash his own forehead against the ground to apologize.
It was a quick apology, given in order to live.
âI wonât... wonât ever do this again! Also, I didnât know⌠I really didnât know that she was the daughter of the Overlord Kang Chul-In! I wouldnât have kidnapped her if I knew! Please believe meâŚ!â
Half of what he said was true, and half was a lie.
When he said he wouldnât do this again he was just lying, in order to avoid death. Of course, the fact that he wouldnât have dared to touch Arshelly was true.
âI-If you let me⌠Kuhuk!â
Sheville choked due Kang Chul-Inâs hand grabbing his throat.
âYou should already know---â
âW-What do you meanâŚ?â
âThat I wonât kill you easily.â
While Kang Chul-In was speaking, a white light flashed,
And Sheville started to charge towards Kang Chul-In.
He had thrown a single-use item that should have blocked Kang Chul-Inâs sight, before charging towards him.
Kang Chul-In grabbed onto Polanskyâs right arm, which held a dagger.
âSince I don't have much time, letâs begin.â
âI will show you a whole new world of pain.â
A terrifying scream filled the secret chamber of the Bittermoon territory.
Whilst Kang Chul-In was torturing Sheville Polansky, the Anatolian army was outside conquering the castle walls of the Bittermoon territory.
Unlike before, the soldiers of the Bittermoon territory fell like leaves. The morale they had shown an hour ago was long gone.
âCan you lend this one 2000 troops?â
âYes, Great Khalifa.â
âWhatâs the reason?â
âIn order to block their escape route.â
âThank you, great Khalifa.â
âOh, and when should I send out my great warriors?â
âI think now is the right time.â
âYes, great Khalifa. The Bittermoon territory is a mess right now. Since Kang Chul-In can run during the chaos, we should send out your great warriors and have them hunt Kang Chul-In down.â
Baruk Al-Yusuf was confident.
50 elite guards of Anatolia, 50 assassins, and 100 soldiers. With this 200 man elite squad, he was confident in being able to catch Kang Chul-In.
âJust you wait! I will capture you alive, and rip you to shreds!â
Baruk Al-Yusuf spoke, his eyes glittering with madness.
