SKIP MY LONG ASS RANT. DOWN BELOW IS THE ANNOUNCEMENT. \n\n
<font size="2">RANT: I was gone for more than a month. I freaking hate COVID. At first it was alright. Yeah, precaution. Let’s follow them. But my mom heard from the news about another possibility for lockdown within our city. At first, she’s like okay gotta stock up on food and stuff. But then news about how there’s someone near our community has COVID. Made her switch to paranoid mode. She got stricter about things and that’s fine. Really. But then 3 blocks away from us. Like this row on a certain block, from each household someone died ‘of something’ Not all of them are keen on cremation and it seems like they pulled some strings, some paid their way and declared the cause of death to be something else. (There seems to be a doctor or two so...you know.) At that point my mom started packing our things. Before another lockdown/quarantine stuff is issued, we immediately left the city and went to my mom’s uncle’s private beach resort. It’s way ooooout there. Like 12 hours of car drive plus a 2 hours worth of boat ride. Food is great and there’s only us and some caretakers and I would have enjoyed my stay there IF ONLY THERE WAS INTERNET. LIKE WTH. It’s freaking 2020 and there’s no WIFI connection there. My phone? What phone? What DATA can I use? There’s no signal there. (you have to ride the boat back to get a signal T.T) and people there are using something that looks like walkie-talkies. I almost went crazy. Like some crazy internet withdrawal symptoms happened to me. And then when the ban was lifted like 2 weeks ago. So we went home. I thought I was gonna be free of no-internet. But my idiotic brother (who was put in charge of wifi/phone bills) FORGOT TO CHECK HIS EMAIL, DO THE NEW POLICY THINGY FOR PAYMENTS AND STUFF. AND OUR CONNECTION WAS ONLY FIXED YESTERDAY. I had to call them every hour, every day. Like, procedures blah blah, schedule and they’re like many people are requesting for ug and connection cause of online classes and etc. etc. in short my summer schedule for updates was --poooooof-- gooooone. \n
