Chapter 214 Bucky’s Suit

Time passed quickly and two weeks had gone by.
During this time, Leo had completed the production of Viper Mark VIII and even prepared a set of backup parts in case of unexpected situations requiring replacement.
Besides, he also successfully developed the “Pym Bullets.” There were two types of Pym Bullets, blue and red. The blue bullets could shrink objects and were installed on the armor’s left arm whereas the red bullets could enlarge objects and were installed on the armor’s right arm.
Due to the limited space of the armor, each type of bullet could only carry ten rounds. If he wanted to reload the bullets, it took Leo three seconds with his current speed.
But in a battle among the strong, a mere second is all it takes.
Thus, he also created two Pym SMGs, each capable of firing both red and blue bullets. Retrieving them from his Storage Belt only took 0.1 seconds, and they were equipped with extended magazines, each containing sixty bullets. This was more than enough for him to spray his enemies with a barrage of bullets!
He also estimated that with sixty enlarging bullets, he could turn a pebble into a small hill while sixty shrinking bullets could shrink a macroscopic object into the Quantum Realm! So these bullets were more than enough for him.
Besides the armor and Pym Bullets, Leo also spent the last two weeks crafting a new version of the Ant-Man suit. It was mainly made of leather for flexibility and lightness and had a similar performance to the suit previously made by Hank Pym.
Of course, Leo wasn’t going to use this suit for himself, it was specifically designed for Bucky!
Since he wanted to use Bucky’s reconnaissance skill to increase the convenience of their trip to Wakanda, he couldn’t skimp on the basic equipment for his teammate.
However, due to Bucky’s limited mental strength, Bucky couldn’t control the flight module that utilized Intracranial Transmission Technology. To reduce the risk of exposure, Leo designed the most basic version of the Ant-Man suit specifically for Bucky.
Regardless, since Bucky already possessed the physique of a Super Soldier and the experience of an excellent scout, using the Ant-Man suit would greatly enhance his mobility, stealth, destructive power, and escape ability, which would be more than enough.
On the other hand, Leo had left a backdoor in the suit. He can remotely control all its functions, and even lock out the current operator’s control rights. Leo’s self-consolation for adding this feature was that it was for anti-theft purposes.
But whether or not it was the truth, only he, himself, knows…
In addition, during these two weeks, Leo also used Ulysses’ Wakanda D-Rank e-Pass to create a matching shield decryptor. Nonetheless, he wasn’t entirely confident that this gadget could successfully break through Wakanda’s protective shield.
Hence, he came up with a Plan B, to shrink down and secretly infiltrate the aircraft that were leaving Wakanda or the people patrolling outside, waiting for them to return to Wakanda and naturally bring Leo and Bucky in.
Or Plan C, finding a Wakandan outside the protective shield who had the latest encrypted version of the e-Pass. Leo could analyze it and spend some time remaking a new pass and then try to enter Wakanda.
Or Plan D…
Of course, which plan to take would depend on the situation at that time.
For now, the most important thing was to get Bucky familiar with the functions of the Ant-Man suit. So, early in the morning, he had already rung Bucky up, who should be on his way to the Marvel Base by now.
“Buzz! Master, Mr. Barnes has arrived at the first floor of the lab, requesting entry.” Steam suddenly voiced out, informing Leo that Bucky had arrived.
“Let him in,” Leo said.
Meanwhile, at the entrance of the first floor of Erwin Research Center, Steam’s voice sounded in Bucky’s ear, “Buzz! Mr. Barnes, please enter.”
Followed by the sound of Steam’s voice, the sealed metal door slowly opened. Bucky marched to the second floor, following Steam’s instructions and taking the elevator all the way up to the night floor before arriving at Leo’s busy laboratory.
As soon as he entered the lab, Bucky exclaimed, “Leo, this lab of yours is pretty impressive! The last time I was here was a year ago when the lab was still new and plain-looking. But now, it’s like I’m walking into some top-secret facility!”
After seeing the various instruments and equipment in the lab, he exclaimed again, “This one is much more beautiful than the one at Erwin Building!”
It was because Bucky was a layman about technology that he thought of using the adjective “beautiful” to describe the lab…
Faced with Bucky’s praise, Leo stopped his work and walked over to him with a smile, without saying a word. This lab was much more than just fortified defenses. It had many more functions!
But it was impossible to explain all this to Bucky, the “layman”. At best, he would only receive a few exclamations like “amazing” and “impressive.”
Bucky wasn’t sure why Leo called him over all of a sudden. But seeing Leo not replying, he opened his mouth, “Leo, why did you call me here today? Are we going to Wakanda?”
“Not yet. I called you here because I designed a suit for you. Once you get used to its functions and can use it freely, we can go to Wakanda,” explained Leo.
Bucky’s face lit up with excitement, “You mean I can fly in the air too?!”
He had actually been envious of Leo’s ability to fly in the suit for a long time, but he didn’t dare ask for it because the suit was too expensive.
In English, whether it’s Iron Man’s suit or Ant-Man’s suit, they are all referred to as “suit”, so it seemed that Bucky had a wonderful misunderstanding.

Bucky picked up the suit with two fingers, examining it for a moment and looking at Leo with confusion, “So how do I make it big?”
“There’s a button on each hand of the suit. Press the button on the right hand to shrink, and the left to enlarge. Take a closer look and find the buttons,” Leo explained to Bucky about the Ant-Man suit.
Leaning in, Bucky examined the suit closely and finally found the red button on the left hand. He pressed it with his left hand and instantly felt a weight in his hand as a full-sized suit appeared in his right hand without a sound.
