I liked watching Ilya sleep.

His peaceful sleeping face made him look younger than his age. His beautiful eyes were hidden and his soft lips left a slight gap. Such a lovely sight filled my heart with warmth.

I traced the multitude of red marks I left on Ilya’s skin, recalling how I went a bit too far after losing control.

From his neck to his clavicles… chest to his belly… How many marks had I left on his upper arms and thighs?

I covered my mouth, a faint frown sliding its way across my lips at my shallow restraint. Running my fingers through his soft brown locks, I thought about today’s events.

Ilya accepted all of my anxieties about those trivial matters and my heavy attachment. He smiled happily, mussed up my hair, and hugged me with his small body.

Although he would probably be angry when he woke up, I lay down alongside him, holding him in my arms. I’d just deal with his temper when he woke up.

There were countless things that I wanted to thank him for, but I felt like I had conveyed them even if I didn’t voice all of them.

Kenneth gently closed his eyes and nodded slightly. Ilya laughed and stood on tiptoe, stroking my hair.

Convinced of that notion even though I had no basis for that thought, I moved forward with Ilya.
