Ugkas had met several individuals who became significantly stronger when their lives were on the line.
However, the prowess Sedi was showing wasnāt something that could be attributed to desperate āgrowthā.

Ugkasā instincts began to sound an alarm in his head. This was no longer something that could be handled while conserving his strength. He realised that if he didnāt kill this girl now, this fight would become many times more troublesome.

Sedi immediately put her guard up. Even though she continued to fight Sipakna, her focus was now mostly on Ugkas.

Sheād put her life on the line with her previous attack. Pouring most of her demonic energy from her body had put it in a worse condition than before.

Ugkas didnāt agree with that.
After all, it wasnāt just the Saint.
Somewhere in this land was the man who was the reason theyād gone there in the first place.

Something shot downwards like a cannonball. Even Sedi was surprised by the speed and destructive power.

Realising this, Sipakna lifted its tentacles to form a gigantic meat shield.
