Rowen presses the button on the bracelet again, he appears in the cabin and the huge body of the iron armored beast also appears in front of everyone.
Agatha feels excited as if a precious jewel has fallen into her hands. She taps and touches here and there, sometimes she puts her ear to it and listens.
After about ten minutes or so, Rowenâs patience has finally run out. He turns the iron armored beast back into a bracelet, saying to Agatha, âMiss Ryan, youâve been watching it for so long, thatâs enough, isnât it?â
âNonsense, I just watched it for a little while!â Says Agatha defensively. âI want to keep watching for a while. Let it come out!â
âAgatha!â Philipâs voice comes at this moment. âYouâd better take the last test first, weâre all waiting for the results, and if you really want to see Rowenâs summoning beast, you can get another chance.â
âAll right!â Agatha is obviously reluctant, but she knows she could not keep so many people waiting.
The onlookers have been already whispering in private. They think her marriage has been already decided and nothing could be changed. However, because of Rowen, the situation has been subtly changed. Those people, especially those family members who are familiar with Agatha, have found that Agatha is obviously interested in the guy who has just shown up. If nothing goes wrong, there will be a black horse today.
Jeff of the Hawker Family doesnât look good at the moment. Originally, he is the only one who passed the three tests successfully, so logically speaking, he should be Agathaâs husband. But now, that guy whom nobody knows has also passed the previous two tests successfully. The third one is to answer Agathaâs question, and in Jeffâs opinion, that is not so hard to do, which means this guy named Rowen, all of a sudden, becomes his biggest rival.
âWhy do you want to marry me?â Agatha is now asking the same question as before.
âI just obey my patriarchâs command,â says Rowen indifferently.
All people are in uproar. Is this guy too stupid? Even if it is true, he canât say it directly!
Jeff suddenly becomes elated. This guy is a fool, all right, no threat to me. He thinks.
âIsnât he too honest?â Bania feels a little bit embarrassed.
Patriarch Brain has a helpless look on his face, but he knows that Rowen is such a man like that. It would be too hard for him to lie in order to please Agatha.
âSo you donât want to marry me?â Agathaâs voice is distinctly unhappy.
âNo,â Rowen shakes his head, âIâd never heard of you before I came here, and I never have a bad impression of you, so how could you say I donât want to marry you?â
âWell, answer me, do you think Iâm pretty?â asks Agatha again.
âI donât know,â says Rowen calmly. âIâve never met you before, Miss Ryan.â
âHey, canât you say something nice?â Agatha is a little irritated.
âMiss Ryan, Iâm just telling the truth. I donât want to lie to you,â says Rowen.
âYouâre really incorrigible!â says Agatha angrily, âWell, one last question, would you still want to marry me if Iâm not a member of the Ryans?â
âNo,â Rowen is more forthright this time.
Once again there is an uproar. Bania is already covering his face with his hands. Patriarch Brian is shaking his head. By contrast, Jeff is the happiest person here.
âYou!â Agatha is getting extremely furious, âYou piss me off!â
âIâm sorry, Miss Ryan, I donât mean to annoy you. I just donât want to cheat you.â Rowen calmly looks at Agatha. He could have said something as disgusting and hypocritical as Jeff, but he finds himself unable to say it because it doesnât accord with his principle of being a man.
âThen say something nice now, say Miss Ryan is pretty, say you want to marry me, and Iâll marry you right away!â says Agatha angrily.
âWhat?â Rowen is stunned. He has not expected Agatha would say this suddenly. Not only is he surprised, but everyone else is as well.
Jeff cannot hold back any longer, he said hastily, âMiss Ryan, you canât be so hasty!â
âNone of your business!â Agatha looks at Jeff unpleasantly, then turns to Rowen, âSay it, you say it, then Iâll marry you!â
For a moment, Rowen indeed wants to change his mind. He looks round at Patriarch Brain, and he knows that Patriarch wants him to marry Agatha.
Rowen takes a deep breath and shakes his head slightly. âMiss Ryan, I donât believe you want to marry someone who contradicts himself in word and deed. Maybe, someday Iâll say youâre pretty, but not now.â
âWhat a stubborn man he is!â The head of the Ryan Family, Patriarch Philip, stands far away, couldnât help shaking his head, but then he turns out to praise him, âRowen is indeed a member of the Wolf Family.â
Jeff feels relieved again, and for a moment he wants to come forwards to hug Rowen because he thinks that Rowen has actually given Agatha up to him.
âGrandpa, Iâve made up my mind.â Agatha turns to Philip.
Philip nods slightly and walks to Agatha. Though the future husband is decided by Agatha, but at last it is Philip who would announce the name of this lucky man.
Agatha whispers a name in Patriarch Philipâs ear, and Philip nods with a surprised look on his face.
âThank all of you who have come to the Ryan Villa. I am pleased to tell you that Agatha has finally chosen her husband, and now I am going to announce the name, the lucky man isâŠâ
Patriarch Philip drawls, and his eyes glance over Jeff and the other ten people. He finally fixes his eyes on Rowen, then says a name clearly, âRowen, Rowen Wolf from the Wolf Family!â
All present are in silent. This, this is so unexpected!
Even Patriarch Brain and Bania both forget to cheer at this moment, because what Rowen did at last makes it hard for them to believe that Agatha would choose him in the end.
âHow, how is that possible?â Jeff is the first to question, âMiss Ryan, do you really choose him to be your husband?â
âNonsense, am I talking for fun?â Agatha retorts, and it seems that she is very unhappy now.
âMiss Ryan, itâs not fair. I did better than he did!â Anger is sensed in Jeffâs voice.
âYouâre wrong, heâs much better than you.â Agatha snorts. âAfter all, Iâve made my decision and wonât change it again!â
âDo you Ryan Family fool us this way? The man called Rowen has somehow come here and somehow become Miss Ryanâs husband, is he the man youâve already chosen in advance?â Jeff snorts. âMiss Ryan, if thatâs the way you fool everyone, Iâm sure everyone wonât agree.â
âHey, is there anything wrong with you?â Apparently, Agatha is in a bad mood, âYou think youâre doing well? Well, let me tell you how you deserve the failure.â
Agatha pauses for a moment and says quickly, âIn the first round, I only used less than half my strength, but you almost got out of the circle. And if you hadnât stuck your sword into the ground, you wouldnât have been able to pass the first test. However, when I fought against Rowen, I used more than half my strength, but he and his summoning beast barely moved!â
âMiss Ryan, you know exactly how much strength you used,â Jeff is clearly not satisfied with this explanation.

âHum, in the second round, you bring that damn flower as your casting materials, let me tell you, I never like flowers, and I also never use that thing as my casting materials, but the metal on Rowenâs summoning beast is something I have never seen before. If it is used for casting swords or armors, that will be more powerful than the weapons I have made before. Even if you too pass the second test, in my opinion, he achieves it by his competence and you by your trick.â
âMiss Ryan, you are still an authority in this respect. You may say what you like.â Although Jeff is not confident at all, he is still reluctant to admit his failure.
âAll right, letâs talk about the third round. I have told you earlier that youâd better tell the truth, but you tell lies. You say you always have affection for me?â says Agatha with a sneer, âI know very well that you have a girl friend at the Royal Knight College. Shall I give you her name?â
âThatâŠâ Jeffâs face changes slightly. âMiss Ryan, thatâs just the past.â
