Scarlet Rose [ABO] - What Happens When the Villain Dies at the Beginning? (14)
Rondon thought about it, his identity as a spy had already been exposed. He would die if he did put the gun down, as Payne would return alive, and would fail to follow his orders. So why not take his chance and fight?
He clenched his teeth and ignored Maupayâs threat, finger about to pull the trigger when, suddenly, the strength from his body seemed to have been drained. The gun fell to the ground and his body dropped likewise.
Payne calmly got out of the bed, using his pheromones to control Rondon.
The world was like this; strength reigned supreme and the losers could only kneel at their feet.
The young crown prince had experienced too much in the past few days. His demeanor no longer seemed so warm and modest, but more dominating, like an Alpha should be.
Payneâs expression was cold and there wasnât a hint of warmth in his eyes, âWho sent you?â
Rondon didnât answer. Payne released even more pheromones, enough to almost make Maupay kneel.
Alphas were very repulsed by other Alphasâ pheromones, because they acted as a kind of mental torture.
And when faced with the pheromones of a much stronger Alpha, they couldnât control the fear and panic that would come over them.
Rondon was completely prostrated on the ground. Other than the rise and fall of his back, he didnât seem much different from a dead dog.
âIf you donât want to say it now, I have plenty of methods to make you open your mouth.â Payne stood up, the front of his shoe digging into Rondonâs finger and looked down at him. âI heard youâre most proud of your hands, if I crush the bones, could you still use them to drive mechas?â
Rondon clenched his teeth and remained silent.
Payne chucked in the dark and continued to quietly say, âOr, destroy your glands. Your bodyâs already small, without glands, you wonât even be comparable to the weakest Omega, what do you say?â
Payneâs words were like a poisonous snake, biting right in his vital areas. What he hated most was people talking about his body.
Although those tall and powerful Alphas looked down on him, they couldnât refute that he was a powerful Alpha.
But without his Alpha identity to hide behind, unable to even match an Omega, then it would be better for him to die!
Was this still the crown prince he was familiar with? People had said that Payne Derain inherited the humility and courtesy of the previous Emperor and was a gentleman.
Rondon tried to lift his head and look toward Payne. Payneâs gaze was obscure, but Rondon seemed to have seen something terrifying.
His entire body started shaking, either from fear or panic.
âYouâre a demon!â Rondon finally shouted, his voice hoarse and filled with vehemence.
Payne stepped harder onto Rondonâs fingers, and he started shouting loudly from pain.
Almost as though he didnât hear Rondonâs cries, Payne said coldly, âItâs good that youâre aware of pain. Since youâve already spoken, tell me everything you know.â
Before the aircraft landed, Rondon told Payne everything Neptune instructed him to do, information spilling out like beans.
Including the secret agreement between Neptune and Blood Owl.
Payne understood. His biological uncle, the person who stole his position as Emperor, sold him out to another devil.
That was why this operation was sure to fail, and he was doomed to be a prisoner of Blood Owl.
But Lu Shijin was innocent! The hostage there should be him, not Lu Shijin!
Lu Shijin was only in that situation to save him, and even exposed the secret of his gender, one that had been kept hidden for almost twenty years, to give him a child!
Payneâs blue eyes were filled with anger, his heart full of hatred.
Neptune Derain, you must pay for everything youâve done!
Four hours later, the aircraft landed in a deserted area outside the capital.
At this moment, the sky had just begun to lighten. Half of it was day and the other half was still night.
âYour Highness, where will we go now?â Maupay brought Rondon out of the cabin.
Payne faced the darker side of the sky, gloom hanging over his handsome features, âTo the Prime Minister.â
Meanwhile, Lu Shijin had been hiding behind the cabin the entire time, and was watching the situation inside the cabin.
He was gratified with how ruthless and decisive Payne was in dealing with Rondon.
The little wolf pup had grown up.
At dawn, Prime Minister Lu was just preparing to go to his office when an unexpected guest visited his home.
It was the first time that the crown prince had paid them a personal visit.
The Prime Minister hurriedly invited him in, and seeing how only two people followed him in, he felt a bad premonition in his heart.
âDidnât your Highness go capture Blood Owl?â Prime Minister Lu asked, âWhen did you come back? Has the task been completed?â
Payne looked at this white-haired old man, who had devoted his entire life to the Empire, with sadness and guilt.
âThe task . . . has failed.â
Prime Minister Luâs body visibly shook, and he nervously asked, âThen, my son?â
Payne supported him, âDonât be anxious, Major Lu is currently under no threat of death. He was only forced to remain as a hostage. The situation is like this, Iâll explain slowly.â
Payne told the entire story, but as there were too many people there, Payne didnât mention the fact that he knew Lu Shijin was an Omega, and also skipped over the humiliation he and Lu Shijin were subjected to when Blood Owl forced them to have intercourse.
